Pathfinder Duels for Android
When I was able to play, was lots of fun. Only complaint is screen size issues. I'm on Google pixel 2XL and the sides of display are cut off. Also been 2 days of me trying to play but I am getting server full error. Like I said it is fun and screen size issue but server full issue is'nt fun.
The only major complaint is that it takes some time to find oponants for ranked games... easy to learn and fun. Using the awesome art from pathfinder and sounds from syrinscape... the story and single player games are top knotch i bet the head to head games get better over time.
If it wasn't glitched I would give a higher review. Spent gems to play arena and every time I try to do anything in an arena match other than play a creature it freezes. Have submitted a ticket in game to no resolve
Update: Must have been the network i was on as the game is now loading fine. Just played the tutorial and looking forward to building a deck. Starts up and loads until you get to the Core Rulebook graphic. Nothing for several minutes on both my phone and tablet. Tried to send an E-mail instead of posting this review but it failed to send. Thank you for your action.
Idiotically unplayable. The game starts Just too big to play on my phone and has no options to fix it. Also one of the worst tutorials I've seen. And a Bot auto-reply. Don't spend any money on this, there is no one at the helm.
Game seems to be okay.. Completed chapter one, but unable to play chapter 2 as you need to be level 2. No leveling XP from PvE content. And 10 xp per ranked match if you win, 0 xp if you lose. And you need 100 xp to get to level 2. Strong pay to win.
Game has only been out 3 days and ranked is already a cess pool of pay to win garbage. Opening cards is a slow, slow grind unless you drop serious money. I gave it two starts, however, because the non-ranked stuff is kind of fun. Just don't expect to make it far in ranked play unless you're willing to spend serious $$$.
The investigatior class mechanic is do far and beyond with brokenly powerfull, and better than the other classes that it's truly laughable. Zero balance from the get go due to it, almost a good game but one terrible design simply ruins it.
The user interface doesn't react properly during the battle. Slow battle. The battle deployment simultaneous with opponent with reversed cards in a 2x3 board is idiotic.
It's a poorly made mixture of mechanics from other games with a PF skin on it. It's playable if you just really love PF and the only reason you don't play other/better ccgs is because of their looks. Tbh, just pass on it.
It can be difficult to select cards so be certain to double check your play before starting a round. Also, the difficulty can ramp up quickly making for a potential pay to win situation.
I have given this game as much time as i can. The problem is this game is about as polished as a turd left in rain. The straw that broke the back is the arena. Will not let me enter either. The tutorial is slapdash at best and the actual controls are horrendous
It's broken. It used to work. Now when anyone cast a spell that does damage split among multiple characters the game freezes.
Decent foundation so far. I'm pretty irked that I bought an in game pack and didn't get the cards out of it, some weird glitch I presume. Submitted help ticket, havent heard anything back.
Overall I was having fun, but the investigators just suck that fun out. I've won a time or two against them, but they get ridiculous quickly.
I enjoy it a bunch. I am a free-to-play player and I got first the first season!! The devs also work closely with the players, we even have an active discord with close to 100 players!
It's a solid ccg game... It's simpler than elder scrolls.. Less battery and processor intensive than hearthstone... And plays well on an average 2017 phone..
I used to play another game by 37 Games, all their characters were the same, with the same skills and abilities but a different skin. Somehow feel like this game, although a different style of game, is still lackluster and has only surface-value.
I like the grid system and the mechanics of the turn based action rounds. There is a large learning curve of where and when to play certain cards. There are a couple of things I do not like. The rounds are to slow, action sequences take to long and become boring to where you make mistakes trying to get gameplay to move forward. Controls are iffy, grabbing and moving cards are hit and miss. It feels off when trying to just pick a card not to mention placing the card on the board. When placing the card you have to slide your finger to wherever it highlights the spot you want, not sliding your finger to the square, that doesn't work. Then the reconnect issues. If you are disconnected the game totally resets all the way back to the initial loading screen like you just started the game. If you are playing a single player game and get a phone call, the whole match is forfeit and the game starts completely from scratch, not even in your last match, more like you just opened the game.
First thing this game needs is a quick way to either load an account or to easily stop that damn tutorial. It's a fast paced and interesting.
I don't understand all the bugs in this game. Have a galaxy s8 and I cannot get thru a match without it freezing u p. I think ii am done dealing with it
I've played over 40 TCGs, digital and otherwise, and I'm very impressed. It uses a zone system similiar to Altiel, with a color-pairing system similiar to the Ravnica block in Magic: The Gathering. There is a lot of design potential in the color and class system, and the customizable class card feature is really nifty. The AI in single-player is a little too easy, there is some minor grammar mistakes now and again, and some systems are a little wonky. But it's to be expected from a new game, and I'm sure it'll be polished soon. FYI the biggest thing irking me as I write this post is Drow Matron saying she summons Aquatic Elves on the card, but summoning a different type of elf instead. The Hellknight cards should also say "Same or higher HP', not "higher".
Fun game but for the last few days every time I try to play an arena match or a duel it freezes after two or three rounds.
Fun but since everything happens at the bottom of the screen, it's way to easy to hitnhe home button and autolose the game.
Really, really bad functionality. Buttons don't work have the time, can't get in to fix my deck. Just really clunky and boring.
Constent app restarts, really lacking indepth strategy, no suitable support group to get information from, may as well just stick to Hearthstone
Keeps glitching during the arena. Guys this game is fun but it needs to stop glitching like this.
I genuinely enjoy this game some mechanics should have more explanation though. IF you love magic I would venture to say you will love this game as well. for The depths you can get into with deck building and combos are a lot of fun. Consistency with the "destroy a face down card" would make those cards good enough for me to run more than 2 or 3 (control decks are my favorite) but works well enough to satisfy me however they are more frustrating because you can't counter random chance A non ranked playlist to playtest decks against real people would be nice. My more serious complaints about the game are you have exclusive buy cards (that you can't buy anymore, IE Kobold king) it'd be ok to have to buy them if you could buy them but if they aren't for sale I wish I could craft it. The buttons are really small in the gallery which can be quite frustrating at times. Overall I dig this game and have recommended it to my gaming group.
Looks like trash on pixel 2 XL. It is scaled so large I can't see any buttons on the sides and there are no options to fix it. First game I've had this issue with. Get it together.
Innovation is very rare in the fantasy card game genre. It primarily is filled with MTG clones. Pathfinder tries and succeeds in challenging players to explore concepts beyond tradition. This makes for a completely unique deck building and dueling experience.
Hearthstone fans might like this as a change up but I didn't like that game either. It doesn't deserve all the 1☆ ratings though.
The game is great so far, I like how the simultaneous turns, grid, and adventurer color combos make for a very strategic but quick game. The game needs some graphic and control polish, but what they have is good so far. Keep it up!
Would love to be able to play but every time I complete the tutorial the game locks up and I have to play the tutorial again only to have the game lock up on me again. :(
Lots of weird characters appear during battles. I don't think they are from pathfinder...?
Game play keeps freezing. The only thing I can do is concede or exit.
The balance is good for decks and there isn't really any pay to win. For a new game it ia strong right out the gate! Good job guys!
At first it was great but recently it freezes at random points and some of those freezes are costing me games please fix and I'll give it a perfect 5.
Just another heartstone copy... Sad... Soo any potential things this could have been...
very poor graphics & level is not suitable. I dislike it

This is a barely functional, glitch-ridden CCG. Several of the core keywords don't function. Spells with 8 lines of text on them appear on screen for 3 seconds, then disappear, with no way to read them once they're off-screen. I only played this for the Pathfinder name, and even that's not enough to keep me around. Guess I'm picking up Hearthstone again.
