Bezique

This is a very good bezique game. I played this for years with my dad, and I am so pleased to find an app of it. Not tried playing an actual person on Bluetooth yet, as not been in anywhere to connect up lately. I find the computer does some surprising discards on occasion. My only gripe is that I can't sort the cards in my hand manually. The options for this feature are ascending or descending in rank or suite. I tried no sorting, but the cards just sit there. This is a minor niggle in an otherwise very good game.

It's pretty nice it's known as a French poker type game. The only thing wrong is that there's only 2 as opposed to having 4 decks needed to play accordingly. CPU gets rid of the Trump cards to score 250! It's all about skillful plays & keeping count of cards played. Otherwise it would be rated more than 5*****'s for me!

Was looking for something a bit different and found this. Had heard of it but never played it before. Think am finally getting the hang of it (tho I seemed to do better when I didn't have a clue?!! lol) and am really enjoying it. Even plays no problem on my old galaxy tab! :-)

I usually play bezique with 4 set of cards including 4 jokers, means 4 pieces for each distinct card. ie (♤♡♢♧)x4 from 7 to A for a total of 128+4 jokers = 132. This one include 2 set of cards for a total of 64 cards only.

The game as it stands is non sensible. There are several faults with the computer play logic, based upon the immediate goal of winning tricks, rather than the longer term human interface of saving cards, for higher point outcome. For example many games the computer will bid the higher sequence cards, ace,king,queen,jack and ten, just to win a trick. A human would not give these cards up until later in the game, when Thier value would be diminished, by the opponent playing a strategically important card, or alternatively gaining points by playing four of alone, thus making a sequence yourself impossible. Also just had the situation in the final round, when bidding against a ten of spades, with a hand of ace,queen and Jack of spades, when submitting either the queen or jack, a notice flashed saying I had to beat the ten and refused to accept the cards( either) offered. Of course I had also to follow suite, and could not play either trump card

Game freezes often, forcing a restart.

Works really well, Bezique is a great game. Developers can you please make a Rubicon Bezique version?

Good app

App doesn't allow main bezique combos! Q club with J hearts when the trump is Spades or Diamonds, or Q spades with J diamonds when the trump is Clubs or Hearts.

Please make it available for the iPhone.

A superb realisation of a fascinating game.

This is certainly an accurate rendition of the game of Bezique, and is faithful to the rules as layed down in Foyle's games and which we used as a family many years ago. It would have scored full marks but for the AI needing just a little tweeking. It doesn't go for sequences or double beziques and consequently my score of wins is running at over 70%. Also its choice of discards sometimes appears questionable (eg. Wasting a trump card, when a spent card could be played from the table to win a trick).

It's my favorite

I have been looking for this game for a while n recently found it in the Google Play Store. It' a beautiful game n playing at level 3 is very easy. It needs some minor changes to allow a player to select 4 sets of cards as opposed to the two sets that the system choses now, for a total of 128 cards. Furthermore, it should allow for the 7 cards to score 10 points at anytime. Also, the level of difficulty must be increased to set a minimum number of points to count the brisques at the of the game.

I love this app. I am new to Bezique and have used it to practice the game numerous times. I recently tried out the Bluetooth connection feature to play against another person and it works great. It is amazing that this is a free game!

The Real game is called Besigue is played with 4 decks of cards instead of 2. This is a very popular game in the Caribbean. Up to 4 people can play individually or in pairs or against the computer. Need some work but it's a start. Some actions should not require player intervention. There used to be an old version for Windows (early versions ) that was very good. I miss it very much..

The app is very well designed. User friendly. Con is that u can never win against the AI and u cant invite a friend to play with u like in zynga games.

Graphics and playwise, there is none better. In fact, all of the games from this app developer are terrific. They have all made it possible to learn great but lesser known card games. Only request: include an option to turn on auto feature that disperses cards won/lost without having to hit the winning card.

I agree with others who say the ads are far too annoying for anyone to have fun playing this. I also will uninstall until it is remedied. And by the way, why is there no ad-free version or option? I'm trying to give you money but instead I just have to play something else.

Simple clean design, good interface, good AI, works.well on my phone. What's not to love? The game will freeze at times for no reason, or if I get an incoming SMS but it's not a deal breaker. One suggestion to the game designer would be to also make pinochle (2 handed ,non-auction) since that game is so similar to bezique.

A great app spoilt by very intrusive adverts. Won`t play it while they appear. I know you need ads to sponsor your work, but they could be less annoying, in placement and genre.

Great game! Well designed. Hopefully more people will learn the joy of playing this game. One thing I would like to see, is a way of saving a game part way through. Any chance of 6 pack, Chinese Bezique? :-)

End is confusing This is one of my fave card games but this version is nothing but confusing in the end..never played this kind of end with actual cards..wud b great if u wud add a Help section on how to play..also its a pity the game gets over in 2000pts..actual game goes on till 10000pts and player cannot go beyond 10000pts..change these things & it deserves a 5..
