Fight off waves of enemies in Crowded Space, a retro space shooter from Ginger Biscuit.
Use points earned from destroying enemy forces to upgrade your arsenal and unlock special powers to unleash upon your foes.
Maximise your level bonuses by destroying all enemies in a wave whilst avoiding taking damage to your own ship.
Use your special abilities wisely and efficiently as each will drain energy that will take time to recharge.
Beware of bosses that can inflict huge amounts of damage, but may also provide upgrades for your main weaponry.

I've not played a game that's this much dumb fun since about 1989... this is a compliment. The constant waves of enemy craft are complimented by just the right amount of weapon and defense customisation. You'll squeal like a 4 year old girl as Crowded Space reminds you what it was like to be a 4 year old girl, in an arcade, with her slightly creepy uncle. "Here's 10p, now go and play one of those pretty light up games whilst I jimmy open this machine with all the grown-up balloons in it". Happy days. Download Crowded Space and you'll never stop looking back to a time when Space Shooters were the purest form of entertainment and kept us busy whilst our relatives were arrested for prophylactic theft.

I love this game like a man with no feet loves prosthetic feet. Great throwback graphics, great throwback gameplay and enough enemies & power ups to satisfy a small army of geeky 80s schoolboys. Bravo Mr Biscuit... or may I call you Ginge?

Its really good, but remove the menu bar its a distraction. Also, you could do that blurring effect.

I know I am going to be playing this a lot! The weapon upgrades work well, and the levels last just long enough to be really challenging.

The game does not look exactly like the screenshots. The "action" buttons are huge on my screen. The game itself is very average, no sounds, simple and repetitive action and graphics. And the power-up system seems completely useless (too expensive for things that give no advantage).
