I've owned this game ever since my Galaxy s3 and it has worked through Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, Kit Kat, and Lollipop. My LG G3 was recently upgraded to Marshmallow and now the game freezes at the initial loading screen. This needs to be fixed. This is not a free game so I expect it to work.

A classic hidden gem with awesome music! A darn shame about lack of online leaderboards though. To do well in this game you need to 'feel' the rhythm & not get held back by fat finger syndrome haha.

Great game but does not work on my nexus 5x. I've sent an email few weeks ago to the dev still no response...

Fun, but the bar is much more laggy than the wii or 3ds so on the first two you can do it but with a few visits to the nether. Growth on the other hand the 3rd kevel, it is really hard because when you go to the bether you cant tell what the dot is so your forced to guess, and im usualy wrong so one stops and I freak out. And even out of the nether it is hard, fun game totaly worth $.99. But untill you can get use to the bar youll be stuck on growth, atleast I was.

Game is perfect, I have spent hundreds of hours on the wii. -1 for controls: Touch works decent though my thumb has too much friction for it to work effortles. Tilt cushions the movement and is too sensitive. -1 for no online leaderboards, something that gave BIT.TRIP complete a lot.

I want something rhythm tengoku! Is there anything like that on android?

C70%
by C####:

Controls definitely need refining. I really want to enjoy this but both the tilt and the touch function feel a little laggy or a little irresponsive. Not to mention the game in general makes my eyes fuzzy, can see it damaging my eyes after a while haha. But yeah, tweak the controls and it'd be pretty much perfect.

It's far too difficult, someone should have told this guy music games are supposed to be fun. Graphics are against you either control method is hard on the hands. It can only be played via memorization. If the music was anything worth mentioning that might be fine, but it's just tedious little blips with nothing resembling melody. The targets have no visible correlation to the sound save alternating. It's like the speed bikes from Battletoads, and just as frustrating

N70%
by N####:

Tilt controls are impractical, touch controls makes you either cover the screen or cover your paddle, and the menu pops out of nowhere. Besides that, it is "fun" to play and runs smooth on SGS3.

N70%
by N####:

Wow im not sure if tilting your phone is better than tilting the wii remote it works great! Love the music its a dream to finally be able to hear it in headphones! The game runs smooth, and visuals are sick! But it seems that your phones gotta have the minerals for it. If it does than get it 1 buck is a steal! Please bring more of the bit trip series to android! Galaxy s2 epic touch.

It worked the first time i played it after I bought it, but now it keeps crashing; doesnt let me start the game. Any reason why? I dont see why it should.

N70%
by N####:

For some reason, every so often the audio in the game goes out of sync thanks to the occasional frame hiccup. I usually play in touch mode rather than tilt so i can move around faster. Otherwise this game is an absolute pleasure on the HTC one m8. You get a good experience even without headphones thanks to the good internal speakers.

N70%
by N####:

There's no tilt sensitivity adjustment, that flame in the background is bloody annoying and totally blocks me from being able to see some of the "bits" fly by, you want to obscure OK but don't blind me. Also how do I access the other 2 modes... there's zero documentation

Q70%
by Q####:

Its an amazing game and is well worth the payment!!!!!! The only problem I've had is that I've beat the second level and I took a break. When I came back. I tried to start the third level but it wouldn't let me... I wouldn't let me choose the second level either!!!

N70%
by N####:

This game is really fun. Waves of dots come at you so it's you're job to reflect them with you're paddle. To control your paddle you can either use your device's built in gyroscope or you can use the touch screen. I find using the gyroscope a bit too hard... no pun intended. You can change the paddle controls in the games settings. this game includes several levels and boss fights. It feels like a reverse Pong. If you like games like Pong then you will enjoy this game.

C70%
by C####:

..extremely bad performance makes it unplayable on HTC Desire Z. Sound crackles and gameplay stutters. Maybe if there was a way to reduce detail of all thet background stuff the problems would go away?

Q70%
by Q####:

Cool game, rrrrrrlllyuu triiippy. I think that i might of killed both my pupils. . . Anyways, rly fun and cool

R70%
by R####:

I don't know if it's just because I suck or if the controls need to be fixed but this game is really hard to play. The sensitivity on the tilt controls need to be adjusted and there's no way to use touch controls without blocking some part of the screen and making it hard to see what's coming. This makes the game extremely frustrating and rage inducing.

N70%
by N####:

But, on my Sidekick 4G, the game is ridiculously laggy. So much to the point that I won't play it :/ Which makes me sad.. I love this game! >.

Pong & Arkanoid on a new whole level. Playing with stylus is the only way to master it. Waiting for more bit.trip titles to come on android platform.

N70%

Give us the ability to adjust tilt sensitivity. When I played it was fun though. Fix this for 5 stars. Kthanxbai. Good game though!

R70%

This is an awesome game! I keep losing at the final boss :( I don't recommend it to people who are sensitive to seizures...

O70%
by O####:

Personally, this game needs to have the sensitivity of the tilt controls adjusted. I shouldn't have to practically throw my device in a direction to get it to zip across the board. Slight tilts shouldn't move the paddle a mere millimeter, it should move a considerable amount, with even slighter tilts moving it just ever so slightly like it does now. A sensitivity adjuster is needed in the options for adjusting the tilt speed. Other than that, this game is amazing. Needs fixed before I give a higher rating.

T70%
by T####:

first of all the game is too forgiving, second, it becomes boring, easy level is so easy and repetitive that I can't pass it Because I get bored. this is all oriented to music and gameplay doesn't connect with music enough, take a look at beat hazard. UI design sucks, main menu buttons are transparent and hardly visible, in-game it's sometimes hard to see the stuff you're hitting because it melts with background, tilt control doesn't work, it shouldn't be in the game...

T70%
by T####:

On my phone. It works, but it lags up a lot and like 20 bits just shoot by and blast me into game over. Tried to get refund but it didn't work.

S70%
by S####:

It could just be me but there doesn't seem to be a good way to use touch controls without blocking part of the action. If I touch near the paddle I can't precisely hit the target and if I use my right thumb its hard to see if the ball is returning... Not sure how it could be fixed though.

Love this game on my PC, though on the tablet the touch seems to activate the pause screen more often than not, making play awkward. Also laggy controls and sound. awesome OST, would love the other bit.trip games too.

T70%

Should breakdown the stages so it could be played in quick sessions. Other than that the game is awesome.

I was looking forward to playing this on my Nook, but it crashed after the loading screen. Please fix this!

Tilt controls feel laggy on my Note 3 compared to the Wii, which makes it more fun on the latter.

T70%
by T####:

Even on easy this game is quote challenging. I truly enjoy this game. Tilt works better on my phone than the touch controls. It is a very creative game with a retro visual style and music yet with 3D backgrounds that change as you play. Well worth it and most importantly it's fun and addictive.

T70%
by T####:

Considering the low graphical complexity, it's disappointing that the performance is so poor. Audio dropouts and sudden drops in frame rate (and occasional crashes) make many parts of the game unplayable. What would otherwise be a fun and charming game is marred by what feels like a sloppy port.

A70%
by A####:

I had this game on Wii before the console broke. Now I have it on my phone and it is just as fun and surprisingly just as playable. The tilt control scheme is even the same as the Wii version!

T70%
by T####:

Like everyone else has already started, slightly better sensitivity on the tilt control is the only improvement id suggest. Or, an adjustable sensitivity! In the meantime, I'll keep practicing and perhaps get frustrated in some spots. Otherwise, it's my favorite game on my phone

T70%
by T####:

Game is very fun, but as previously mentioned. The tilt controls are not sensitive enough and the touch controls newest to be better optimized as there is some lag. But overall great game. I hope the developer updates with improvements as it as the makings of a fantastic app

T70%
by T####:

Who needs state-of-the-art graphics when you have an awesome idea, cool sound and trippy colors? Nobody, the 3DS version is even better, go and buy it!!!

G70%

The extreme amounts of lag and crashes makes it unplayable on my Xperia J. It's a real shame because I love this game and would love to actually play. Please fix it :).

Q70%

Great arcade game, completely absorbing. Played this on the wii first but the tilt controls just aren't as good on android affecting the game. 5* once they are fixed.

V70%
by V####:

Gyro controls don't work well at all and the touch controls don't move fast enough for what they want you to do. Can't adjust the sensitivity either to make it better. Waste of money, do not buy.
