About Blockis
Blockis is both a simple and very advanced block falling game, like Tetris is. Blockis has only three types of blocks, one square, one double square and a triple square, compare to Tetris which has seven different shapes. They blocks come in landscape and portrait orientations. You can't rotate the blocks like you can in Tetris, and you can't move them until they have fall to the bottom. You can only move sideways, by dragging them with your fingertip. You have to get rows, like in Tetris, then all blocks in that row will explode.
That sound so simple that you probably wonder why anyone would like a game like that. Well, try it. As a row explode it leaves gaps in different shapes, so you have to plan where you put your pieces. You also get gaps as the blocks locks each other positions. And the blocks comes fast so you have to think fast and act in a hundredths of a second. If you manage to explode a row you get double points for sex seconds, if you explode another rows within sex seconds you get triple points and so on. That plans for a strategy of building a tower, and after a while you have to place a block at the correct spot and the whole tower will explode. You have to be careful because if you build to high you will reach the upper part of the screen and the game would be over. Another approach is to place the blocks of the same shape stacked. Then when a row beneath explode the gap will be filled a you get another row to explode. With each block, you must make a quick decision about where it should be placed. And you have to think fast, because the next block is already on its way. If you manage to remove all the blocks from the stage you get an extra bonus of 100 points. But the main goal is to stay alive as long as you can.
