Dark Arcana: The Carnival

Game itself is fantastic, artwork is awesome, puzzles are easier than other g5 games. However, I would swear! That the voice actor for "the mirror guardian" was also the same guy who did the voice for a robot character called Mort, waaay back in the day, in a game called Jump Start 3rd grade. Talk about Deja vu. I know, I'm detailed oriented. I could be wrong, but they sound extremely similar if I am.

I have to admit that when I Googled "adult rpg games", I actually meant sex themed ones. Amongst the articles that popped up, though, was a top 10 list of games for adults to play on Android. I wasn't disappointed with this one, it reminded me of the Choose Your Own Adventure books that I read in middle school. I only wish that it was slightly longer and didn't take up quite so much room, almost 1 gb, on the phone. Otherwise, I enjoyed it very much.

Every G5 game that I've paid for will no longer open. So far, they haven't done anything about or even responded to the problem I and others who have paid are having. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY G5 GAMES!!! It won't load past the logo screen and will crash on you!!!! You won't get to play a thing. I have purchased four different G5 games and NONE of them will open now!!!! The free G5 games are the only ones that will open just fine. Don't waste your money. Artifex Mundi has awesome games that I've also bought. They are just as fun, only their games will actually open!

Love this hidden object/adventure/puzzle game. Its challenging enough to keep u interested but not impossibly hard at the same time. I actually paid to unlock this game which I never do so it must be good. I will come back to update this review after I am finished to comment on the price vs amount of playing time and quality of entertainment. So far so good!

Another very cool game from G5. The graphics are awesome, fun and challenging puzzled, good storyline. I even enjoy the hidden object games. The objects actually makes sense with the story and some of the objects are tools needed to keep playing the game. There is a good mixture of puzzles and hidden object s. My only complaint is that for the price i think the game needs to be longer. G5 games while my favorites always seem to be on the short side.

I've played up to the point where I have to buy the rest of the game. Time to uninstall and pick a new AM game to play until my next check comes and I can buy the rest of the last 2 games I've started. But...I can say that they are good enough for me to want to get the full versions. I'm sure my rating will increase to 4 - 5 stars when I do

I have spent a small fortune playing all of your games, and have enjoyed some more than others. And the only bad thing I can say about this one is that there is no interactive map. It makes for a lot of going back and forth, which would be fine with one click of the map. I loved the story, the artwork, and the puzzles. I really do wish you all would come out with some of these that have only puzzles and no hog's. I would buy up every single one!

I downloaded this huge game and settled in just to hit a wall. They want you to buy it at a certain point. Wanting people to buy games is all fine and good but had I realized this was a demo... you know saying so in the title... i wouldnt have bothered. I won't pay 5 bucks for a game that will last a few hours. I only gave it two stars because it would be good.

I would have rated 5 stars but they promised a sequel for rating, and never said its a short DEMO! instead the game stopped at end of first level, now it wants me to pay, not listed as a demo, RIP OFF ?WHERE IS MY SEQUEL? Extended level?

Story line ok but got annoying moving around so much from place to place to pick up a small item over and over again. A bit boring and puzzles were kind of repetitive. Overall ok but I've played better games.

I played the free hour for this game about 4 years ago and when I went to buy the rest of it a few days later, I couldn't find it anywhere. I was seriously upset because I was so intrigued to find out what happened once I got on the other side of the mirror. Miles (the monkey) definitely made it more fun, but I don't feel the price for the game ($4.99) was fair and unless it drops to $2.99-$3.99 for other games, I won't be buying another anytime soon.

I just bought this game a few days ago after taking my time playing and really enjoying myself. I know this storyline isn't for all, but I am having a good time with it. I do hope there is a sequel and that it is equally good if not more entertaining.

The free demo is very short, to play the rest of the game I pay $4.99 and it's not even worth, because the story it's not even long enough. They should lower the price to 99 cents or give it for free. The game is good but the price is ridiculous. Give ppl the chance to play plus it takes a lot of space on your phone to.

I paid for the full game and played for a while. When I tried to play the next day it got stuck on the opening screen. I deleted and re-downloaded and I still can't play because it won't open. Tried three times, please advise.

Great game! I have a problem though. I paid for this game and now when trying to open it, it crashes. Can someone fix it or can I get my money back?

Would have rated 4 stars but cannot get back into game. Screen not loading. Have paid money for this so not happy. Please fix as I have bought another G5 game and no problem.

Sucks u go through all that effort just to have to pay for the ability to play full game! Dont understand why it cant be like all other games that say they're free and are actually free unless you want to re energize/move along the game faster. Then you can buy option comes in.

Waste of money. Short game... extremely boring. Ive bought a lot of your games, and this is barely worth a dollar. Very dissapointed. Halfway through game HO scenes are way overloaded, not much of a storyline. Sigh

Fun game but there is no way ill pay for it, For lots of reasons. The demo even had a glitch it wouldnt load and I had to reinstall it several times just to play. Its ridiculous that all of the games you make you have to buy. Not everyone has the extra money to buy games on here. Why cant you have some totally free and use ads so the game can be free.

After a few hours it got boring and I didn't like the fact that you had to go WAY back and forth. Davy Jones was the best game so far!

The plot, puzzles, and graphics are great. The only problem is that I paid for the full game and when I opened the app It said an error had occurred and I can't play the rest of the game, which is really fusterating.

Awesome game in every way. Unique puzzles. Not packed with hidden object scenes which I am happy about. I decided to purchase after playing the trial... I do however think it is overpriced for the length of the game. It is not very long. Finished it in a few hours. Deducted one star for its length. Hoping for a sequel.

Was a very good game, helpful map & hint. Games not too easy & not too hard. Some voices were lame but graphics great. I recommend to any HO game lover.

The game gives you the graphics, length of playing time, and a variety of puzzles that you come to expect from these 2 Dev's. The storyline and ending was decent enough but not as spectacular as some of their other games. Overall though, definitely glad I purchased this one and will continue to buy from these 2 Dev's as all the games I've played so far have all been well worth the $5

Challenging but not impossible. I liked the hint button could be used at any time and did not have to recharge. I would like another game with similar puzzles. Do not mind paying a few dollars for hours/days of a good game.

Paid full price for this game, but even the full version is easily completed in an evening. Would expect a game of this price to be at least twice as long

This is the second game I've bought from this company and both times it doesn't let me play. It probably wouldn't bother me so much but it was freaking 5 dollars. I'd really appreciate my money back since this is my SECOND time with you guys..

I cant enter the player name. I uninstalled. Reinstalled. Still won't work. Please fix. I'm so disappointed. bcx reading the reviews of this game made me really look forward to playing it. I have to uninstall it till it's fixed. Need MB for another game I'll play till this one gets fixed.

Your games are better than movies. So alive! The graphics are so real. Enjoyed every moment. Just wish for less rodents. Can't stand them: so disgusting.

This is a very spooked out carnival of one's dreams makes you feel like your part of it all the wild macabre mystery! Would want to see a second game! Just bring in moving interactive characters, more choices for different path scenarios & endings and of course fun interactive prizes!

Ookayy so people complaining about people mentioning the game isn't free, well it isn't listed as a demo which most try & buy games are so it's indeed misleading. When you see "in app purchases" that pertains to extras like gear & vanity items, that is the case in 100% of the games I've ever played. Again, misleading. Facts should not be discouraged & if a company is pulling something, others have a right to know. And BTW, $5. is Not cheap for a one time game of this calibre, I can get games for the PlayStation with dozens of playable hours for less.

50 rupees cut and 327 is nt yet cut. Now they are showing this card is nt for purchase. Then how 50 rupees cut as service charge. I want my money back.. Or take 327 rupees for full game.. I have played so many paid games.. But this is very bad service. Fix it

I especially liked the mini games-different than others i'd played. Colors were not as bright and seemed to have less places to "click" on. I really liked Miles the helpful monkey, he's fun! Overall a real enjoyable game to play.

It was creative, with varied scenes, and no real bugs. The HO scenes were not too hard and only rarely annoying. My only complaint is there were only one or two objects to find in a location. I like a lot. Plus five stars should be for awesome and this is good. I recommend.

Fantastic mystery puzzle game! Beautifully detailed scenes with the right mix of puzzles that are "just difficult enough". Great maps, journal, & quick-loading hint button. Plus the fabulously delicious backdrop of an eerie carnival complete with rides & games. What's not to love? For those complaining the free version is not "free"...It clearly states "in app puchases" under the download button. Also click "read more" under the game description. It lists how much you have to pay for full version.
