This has been great fun but doesn't seem to be working anymore. Does anyone know what happened?

Used to wish for something that would bring the crossword into the phone. Awesome app. Sync needs some work.

Good for completing collaborative crosswords!

If it was compatible with .puz files, I'd consider it. Otherwise, cropping the clues from the puzzles takes more effort (and, more importantly, TIME) than it's worth. By the time I'm done setting up, my break's over and it's back to work.

Just what I was looking for. Quick and easy to use. Fantastic!

I love the functionality and simplicity of the app. Clever method of importing both the grid and clues, and the sharing capability is great. A few things I'd wish for: the ability to zoom in on the grid, and the ability to have a perpetual keyboard / see the keyboard and clues at the same time (a bit annoying to have to pull it up and down all the time to see new clues). Overall, great execution!

Great app, works brilliantly, my friends and I use this app daily now to conspire over various crosswords and has been very fun. So easy to set up a crossword and to share to your friends. I highly recommend another app to join 2 screenshots together for Webb ripping the clues called 'Image Combiner' it literally now takes me 3 mins to set up crossword with screenshots join them, synch crossword and share link with friends. The only way this app could be better would be to allow 2 images for clues...

Literally perfect for anyone who loves doing real, published crosswords with friends. Only suggestions would be to allow .puz and subscription based crosswords to share with my cohort. But this app is awesome.

I would like to use the app for right-to-left languages, so the crossword numbers are on the reverse order and I can insert letters at different language

I like the idea of the app, however when I try to send an invite for a friend to "conspire" on a crossword with me the email sent is blank. I believe I'm following the steps right: Sync, Invite, Send. If there was a way to see the address on the server for the crossword I would just copy and paste that manually to, say, a text message, but that doesn't appear to be possible. 3 stars since without the sharing feature it's just a convenient way to truck around a crossword in my pocket. Not bad, but not really living up to what it says it is. On a Sony Xperia Z3v running Android 4.4.4

It would be awesome if you could add 2 images for the across and down clues as many times they are set around the crossword. I screenshot the digital magazine page.

Works great on my GS5

Can't seem to get this app to load on my Galaxy S4. Will try on the S5 but all I get is a white screen with a blurb telling me to check the help menu for help. UPDATE: looks like when someone invites me it works. Thanks!

I recently moved overseas and this app has enabled me to keep doing crosswords with old friends back home. Recommended!

I was looking for an app that allowed me to solve crosswords from my homecountry on a mobile device, and I found it! I wasn't even looking to share the crosswords, but it is a great feature. Also I was trying to use a particular style that didn't work at first, but Matt, the creator, provided me with a workable solution for my problems in just a couple of hours. Thanks for this app and your help!

The grid import is a little tricky at times, but the app works great. Only way as an expat to do crosswords from home. Feature requests: chat, invite by text/Facebook etc, highlight changes by editor

Thanks for this app. Just moved across the world and this enables me to still work on crosswords with friends. Crashes on nexus 5 sometimes, but not a big deal. Recommend allowing multiple pictures for clues so I can grab across/down without getting puzzle. Also OCRing clues and marking each when solved would be epic. Seeing collaborators names or something would be nice too. I'd love to donate, but can't find any way on your site. Is donation possible?

Nice idea, poorly executed

Scanning an image works well. A possible improvement would be to check the result is rotationally symmetric. Also I couldn't correct the board image once I had started entering - or possibly once I had shared it - and didn't notice the board was wrong for a while. Definitely recommending to my friends anyway.

A small learning curve for a fantastic free app. Only been using a couple of days, yet know it will be used daily. And it looks like it might accommodate my favourite skeleton crosswords too? Woot! Thank you Matthew Finn x Edit to say I'm loving having paperless crosswords of my choice on the go. Even when I create the grid manually it only takes a minute. Brilliant!! One option I'd like to see is being able to alphabetise the title list in ascending/descending order. Otherwise, perfect app for me.

Great for sharing a cryptic on a Saturday morning.

I use this app all the time to do crosswords with my dad and brother. Works with Apple version too. Good for collaborative crossworders and those who just want to dispense with the newspaper!
