Guess-Free Minesweeper

I have to change my review with the upgrade of my samsung device i cannot access the game settings due to the left button menu is replaced with another function in samsung devices. Hence the game needs the settings soft button instead of the missing settings hard button.

OK. This is, in my opinion, one of the best implementations of the game. Neat, clear, with a couple of additional features. Recommend it wholeheartedly as the best minesweeper version. But guess free it isn't, of that I am certain. Played it extensively, frequently find positions where several options are possible with no way of telling. And yes I've passed it to others to check. On reflection, I don't think it's possible to make it entirely guess free - if you think about it.

I've been looking for a good version of this game for a while. It really is guess free, the reviewers who say it isn't are clearly just terrible at Minesweeper.

I suspect this requires an old Android version with a menu button. Android 5.1 doesn't have this; apps must provide their own button for options.

What a great game! Can you please make the timer accurate to at least two places after the decimal point? Also, it will be great if we can start a new game from the position at which we played the last game. That way, we don't have to adjust the board every time we start a new game. Thank you for your fantastic work!

There is no custom option. I enjoy massive boards with 33% of the board being mines. The expert mode is a tiny board with only 25% the board being mines.

it's missing a way to save the game-session before closing the app so that the same session can be resumed the next time the app is open

Satisfying improvement to the original

This app is great as a "guess free" app and as a normal minesweeper app. The guess-free feature is excellent - and contrary to what one other reviewer has said, the app really is guess free. I have been playing it every day for the last month and I've never had a "must guess" situation. Maybe he just isn't very good at minesweeper. My only gripes with this app are: (a) no decimal places in high scores, (b) the message displayed when you win is not very exciting. If these were to be changed I would rate 5*

This app completely delivers what it claims to, but it seems to lose the state of the game in some situations. This can make the game unplayable if it happens a lot. The ui could also use some tweaks, but overall it's really fun when it works.

Thanks for making this. Minesweeper without all the random guessing is so much better. Controls are great (and customizable). Missing one star for only three levels and no customizable amount of mines/board size. Intermediate is a bit too easy for me and expert a bit too hard (for me) :)

minesweeper is a logic game, eliminating the "guess" part make it perfect...

I've played three games in a row now where I was faced with a must-guess situation. As a plain minesweeper game it is four stars. As a guess-free game it is one star. I'm averaging it to two stars.
