Pirates! Showdown Premium for Android
It's a great time killer , makes you think, and at times exciting, I love this game, wish the graphics were a bit better though...
Develop updates for in game dynamics. Too simple. Make ships during battle contain an options menu of various upgradable items. Power, agility, speed, damage, fire-cannons, etc. Do same with base options - make them do more! Take cue from Tower Defense games with widening strategy selection. Need more choices for each unit during battle. Provide more maps, levels etc. I could keep going. Basically all games are value-less, this one isn't. This contains inherent value. Supply more for the demand side. Demand known, now supply.
You should be able to control your units like be able to have them stay in 1 spot and attack and just stay there not just keep moving forward. Other that it is a great game will play for all of eternity.
No Family Library support for older purchases before July 2016 - so no loyalty for older customers. Deducted stars as a result. Shame.
On some levels where AI starts with tower advantage, regardless of how much you retake and upgrade they will start an unbroken stream of ship-of-the-lines after a few minutes. Never gets fixed
Why does it keep asking difficulty at each level can we have it set on whichever and play
I don't find it very entertaining. The buildings don't upgrade when i have the gold and you can't control the ships.
This is just lame folks :-(
I paid for this game a couple of bucks. I feel cheated .
Water cannon fire and lots of it. No pirates ship in the ship or anything
The paid version is actually inferior to the free version. If, like I you purchase to lose the adds, you also have a restriction on points you can accumulate. I have contacted the developer twice now and each time have been told they will update to make them the same but over six months later still no sign of the update.
I love this game, but have to knock off 1 star because of how obviously the game cheats on the last level. The rest of the game is great, but I guess they thought they were creating "replayability" by all of a sudden sending an unstoppable swarm of frigates at the very end, even though you cut the cpu's production down to its original 4 cities. Feels really out of joint with the rest of the game, which seems pretty tight and balanced. Other than the last cheating level, fantastic game.
I admire the extremely simple and easy to learn game play. It is a well designed strategy game - easy to learn the rules but hard to master. Campaign got old fairly quickly but I enjoy playing the random maps.
Love it played it before for free and now after so long i decided to buy it to show my gratituded lol so far one of the best games ive ever played! Please more maps and ships more ships!!!
That must makes the eventual victory sweeter.
Would REALLY LIKE TO SEE SOME UPDATES. By this I mean, expansion of the islands.
I absolutely love this game! I've downloaded it on three devices and still get the same thrill when I play it. Its replay value is awesome! I've played each level at least three times. I highly recommend it.
Needs different maps other than that great game but each match is the same
Why does it keep asking difficulty at each level can we have it set on whichever and play
On very hard the game is a slight challenge. Sequencing is everything, needs a few other mechanics to make the game more interesting
My only complaint is when you try to upgrade island outposts or towns it launches ships instead.
Reminds me of a game on the pc decades ago, wish there was an add on
Simple but enough strategy to keep playing without getting bored. Plus the amount of levels, counting different difficulties, makes this app worth every penny!
Great game, plenty of replay value. When you get really good just use the fast foward button to speed it up or use the FF button again and use the top speed to really challenge yourself bc you have to react faster and keep things going. This is also helpful for maps that start off with money going very slow. I play this game everyday even though Ive beat all the levels for all the maps.
I play it all the time. Smooth graphics, good strategy game but simple. Brilliant! Maps r getting old, update needed.
Great game but the premium could use a few more levels as it's so fun to play I just plowed through it so fast!
Took me a while to get the hang of it but now I play all the time.
Wish you could control the ships
This fantastic game...I. .. I. .. I aye. .. aye. .. I. .. I. Got him...? ...................... the wars of ancients may have used against the Pharaohs eyes the eye as a timming chamber...
I just paid for the premium version but is looks very much like the free version.
Nice simple gameplay and thoroughly enjoyable.
Most addicting game!
Ready for a sequal
Could not be happier with my purchase good game! Good job.

Do not buy. Don't get me wrong. Great game, but near as I can tell free version is identical, IDENTICAL, to the premium.
Great game, could do with some tablet updates
Keeps you engrossed. I haven't had any crashes yet.

Fun, but some things frustrate me. First, I own the full game but still get ads for other games. Second, hitting the back button or choosing exit takes me back to the initial menu instead of to my last location. I hate having to choose two menu options to get back to where I had just been. Third, the final level is unwinnable except on Easy. It doesn't need to be impossible to be fun and challenging. Finally, playing skirmish maps in Normal mode starts me on the same map 80% of the time. I'd love it if there were pop up previews of maps so I could easily choose favorites instead of having to enter the map and then have to back out (two levels!) to find the one I'm after. I'd absolutely love it if I could manually set the ability for me and the enemy for strategically specific games. It's definitely a good game, but sometimes I just don't want to deal with its problems.
