Dil Phaink

'Dil Phaink' - the visa free, virtual rickshaw ride across the landscape of India and Pakistan allows you maneuver through an obstacle track of the famous landmarks of the subcontinent, which you must dodge to successfully to complete the game. An ode to Sabeen Mahmud, 'Dil Phaink' is a bid to familiarise the children of the region with their neighbourhood in attempt to do away with the traditional cross border ‎stereotypes and take the narrative beyond the LOC. Here's hoping another generation carry forward with them the emotional baggage of partition. ‎


‘Dil Phaink’ is a public-service project undertaken by Asia Society’s India-Pakistan Regional Young Leaders Initiative – Class 2014, in a bid to take the sub-continental narrative beyond the LOC. This visa free virtual rickshaw ride across landscape of India and Pakistan is a tribute to Sabeen Mahmud, a member IPRYLI’s inaugural class, ruthlessly gunned down in May 2015.
