Dungeon Raid for Android
This game is easy to learn and fun to play. It is very challenging to get to higher scores. I've already spent 5 hours playing this and would fully recommend it. But how do you get past 3000 points? I'm struggling to stay alive after around 1500, and only rarely have I gotten above 2000. :(
This game is very much worth 5 stars... as long as you aren't using lollipop. The game runs unbelievably slow, and this is not a new issue as I have found a post on Reddit from over a year ago (May 2015) detailing the issue. Please devs, I beg of you fix this issue. I love this game and would love to play it over and over again like I did in 2010 on my 2nd gen Ipod. This is the only issue with the game, and until it is fixed it makes it hardly worth the wait... the wait for your turn to end, that is.
Hasn't been updated for 4 years. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THE ANIMATIONS. The game is one of my favorite time killers and still is! I paid for this app when it came out, I just wish the game still worked like it did!
It's one of the better games I've found on android. It has depth and simplicity in the right proportion so that you can play it for a few minutes or an hour or two straight. Seems like gaining levels is ridiculously slow or maybe I'm missing something. For example I played to like level 27 as the assassin and yet he's still level one.
I was planning on using the 15 minute window to test and to try out the app, and if necessary, to return for credit if not any good. 30 minutes later, I'm hooked and still playing. I only just stopped playing since I'm missing a meal with family at the dinner table.
I downloaded this game thinking it would be so-so... But what a surprise to discover one of the two best android match-3 games! (the other being Super Monsters Ate My Condo!) The leveling system adds interrest in this game! It quite addictive and fun!!!
Progression is rather slow. I wish stuff unlocked more quickly. The actual progression through each run is perfect, but class unlocks and the like should appear more often. That's the only reason I docked a star, because of that bit if a grind.
My favorite game since first playing it on iOS, since before it coming to Android. There were some hiccups in Android 6.0 - gameplay/animation becoming very slow - but it seems to have sorted itself out in 7.0, despite having no updates from the developer at all in years.
It's a paid app. Some people have been complaining about the app speed for 6 months. There's no excuse for this. At the very least, roll back to the last stable version. Not giving more than 1star until the issue is fixed.
This game is great. Its turn based so it doesn't demand your attention. It's got a high replay value. I'd like to see an update though, it's quite outdated. That said, it runs fine on my 4.3 S4.
I loved this game when I first downloaded it a few years ago. I recently rediscovered my Nexus tablet, and picked the game up where I left off. Still great. However, since I gave in to the software's nagging about upgrading to Lollipop OS, the game just doesn't run well at all. It's so incredibly slow! By the sounds of the other reviews, they are still promising an update to fix the speed on Lollipop. Please fix this, I want the old game back!
While I'm not usually a fan of matching puzzle games, I am a fan of this. It lost a point for having no music whatsoever, having a slightly obtuse help system (need to be able to press help on any screen), a neverending tutorial (am I playing the game now?) and a lack of quests, towns, dialogue and other rpg norms. Still, there's a lot to love - tons of character classes, equipment, special skills, races, etc, but I find myself wanting a map and quest journal to add to the depth.
I like this take on the rpg/ match 3 game. It's simple to get the hang of and deep enough to play for a long single session. So far my longest single turn play session has been approximately 30min. No worries if you don't have the time to play that long at one time since the game saves itself if you need to continue on with your daily life. I wish it still had online leaderboard but Open Feint doesn't work. The best part of this game is the introduction to each play through: your story always changes!

This is the only game I've felt is worthy of a review. It's absolutely worth the money. There's replay value and it will keep you thinking strategically. It will take you sometime to unlock everything which gives you even more reason to keep playing. Be forewarned though, It will keep you entertained/busy for hours on end. Have fun! Edit: PLEASE fix slow animations!
Gameplay and character building is really fun and well thought out. Although for some reason it seems to run very sluggish every since I starting using marshmallow. If this was fixed and the faster game play was returned I'd easily rate this five stars.
This is probably one of my favourite games that I keep coming back to.. Only problem is that you cant backup your save games! I have lost countless hours because of this with no answer from the developer on if and how this can be done. Quite disappointing as I love this game but hate having to start over again when I wipe my phone.
This match-3 game (or as many as you can!), manages to pack a lot of punch from within it's Rogue-like/RPG depths, and satisfies on all counts. Simply an amazingly addictive game that gets better with each play through. Puzzle Quest has some catching up to do with Dungeon Raid's über skulls!!! -An essential puzzle game.
I'm so happy that they finally put together an android version of this game. Updated - after a few months of playing this game nonstop, I still am addicted to it, which is always a great sign for a game. My only nit with this game is that, for whatever reason, this game eats through my batteries like no other app. Something about this game is a battery hog. Still keeping my review at 5 stars as I remain addicted to it despite the battery issue.
This is was my most coveted iOS game. So much that I actually e-mailed the author asking when/if it would be ported to the Android OS. And here it is! I've wasted countless hours of battery time in it already. One of the best phone-games I've seen so far. You should buy it!
Sure it doesn't look like much, but underneath the primitive graphics lies an addictive game. Some issues: 1, it could use a lot more depth and variety. 2, presentation is lacking. 3, as far as I can tell, the game keeps running when I turn off the screen. Basically, this game really needs a sequel. Just don't destroy what makes it fun like like Puzzle Quest 2 did.
It's amazing how a 2 dollar game has taken so many hours of my life. The only bad thing is that your items don't save when you die. I wish they would. A continuing story mode would be great :)
I just switched from a Galaxy S3 to a Nexus 6, and the game's animations now seem to run at 50-70% speed. The game is still buttery smooth, but somewhere along the line there is a performance compatibility issue that is making the animations (and the gameplay) extremely slow. Please update for newer devices and the 3* will immediately return to 5*.

There are plenty of people out there not trying this game due to it's graphics, I was one of them. I decided to try it and I'm very glad I did, the game is great. Please consider updating the graphics and this game could become even better. Thank you for not doing micro transactions. Great game
The game itself is super fun. I've happily spend hundreds of hours playing, and it's easily one of my favorite games. That said, I can only play it on an old phone. On new phones, it has a terrible framerate and slow animations that make it borderline unplayable and significantly less fun. If it got an update to make it work on new phones, I would say 5 stars easily, but the developer seems to have abandoned it and no longer checks or answers their email.
The game ran fine till I got a text message popup that appeared while playing.. Now enemy turns take 3x as long and sometimes longer, making the game almost unplayable. Even uninstalled the game, cleaned my phone, restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, same issue immediately. Wtf. Samsung galaxy s6 marshmellow.
Animations are slow on devices running lollipop. Games now are painfully slow. Prior to that, no complaints. Game was a blast and one of those that you could always go back to playing. Playing this on Nexus 7 (2012) and an HTC One M8
This has been my go to game on the phone for a good while now. The devs update consistently and managed to be responsive to any issues. The style might not look catchy but the mechanics are solid and work perfectly on a phone, if you lack good games then you need to give this a shot.
I have a Nexus 5. I was playing this game without issue before I updated to Lollipop. Now (As other reviewers have pointed out) the game is performing very very slowly and the animations are very delayed. This was one of my favorite mobile games (I own it on both Android and IOS). I have contacted the Developer via E-Mail, hope it gets resolved. This is a 5 star game when it works, I hope it gets fixed soon.

I didn't think it was possible to combine Bejeweled type gameplay into a compelling RPG, but i was wrong! This game has the matching puzzle logic of Bejeweled, but goes way beyond its simplistic gameplay with in-depth strategy, characteristics, levels, special abilities and special monsters. Should you reinforce your defenses or heal? Should you attack or grab the gold first? Should you choose the better armor or the better weapon? Decisions are not often easy, but this is a fantastic strategy RPG!
This is the first review I have ever given to a game. I just felt like I had to give a review because this game is just so fun I can't even describe, the way they mix an RPG with a tile-based strategy game is amazing. Would so recommed. For the price, it's really worth it, I've been playing this for months and still haven't gotten bored of it.
This game is great. Its turn based so it doesn't demand your attention. It's got a high replay value. I'd like to see an update though, it's quite outdated. That said, it runs fine on my 4.3 S4.
Really love this game. Very intuitive and deep. Edit: This game has since become abandoned. It might be feature complete, but is no longer full screen on any of my devices with the latest firmware. No star removal, as the game is still amazing.
Doesn't seem to be receiving any more support for newer OS's. My Droid Turbo can run the game no problem, but for whatever reason the game runs super slow. Not lag or latency, the game plays like normal, only the game itself is much, much slower than it used to be.
It looks simple and not all that interesting but it's really a lot of fun. After a while you start imagining that you are hacking away at a dungeon full of monsters. Upgrading your gear and picking your special skills is a lot of fun. It really boils down a dungeon crawler RPG to it basic elements. Get it!
This game has been a surprising gem at a low price considering the game play itself consist nothing more then matching tiles together. At the heart of it though, blindly playing a "let's match" game will lead you to a game over screen faster then you can process and enjoy the randomly selected absurd backstory of each round.
Those are most important to surviving longest. Such an excellent game. I've reached all characters to level 10, but I still keep coming back to play. Thanks developers

Unique concept with enough variation to get a lot of playtime out of it. Saves your progress when you leave the game, so it's perfect to pick up and play in small intervals when you have a spare minute. Or you can be like me and play it for hours. That works too. Loses a point for some kind of weird lag that slows everything down. Used to be quicker paced when I first downloaded it fiveish years ago.
