Mystery of Westington Manor

I was about to one star when I realized the mistake I was making on the first level. Rather than pressing anywhere, take careful note of the background and use little taps (on the elephant) to get past the chandeliers. The game really opens up a couple levels after that, once the story spirals in true Filmcow fashion.

This game is absolute art. Never before have I played something as nuanced, something as intelligent, something as heart wrenching. The story will have you on the edge of your seat, constantly guessing what happens next. The twist secret ending is by far the best part. You'll question everything you thought you knew about Westington Manor, and everything you thought you knew about yourself.

Being a major app gamer I have to say I have never had quite an experience like I did while playing Wesington Manner. Unforgettable attention to details. The twists and turns are mindblowing but still understandable and appreciated by all ages and members of the family. If you haven't played this game, you haven't experienced a true mystery.

The controls are great. The gameplay is flawless and the game has no bugs. This game will entertain many generations. This dude is a prodigy. For the first level just hold down on the chandelier and it will fall before it hits you. 11/10 GOTY 2015

One of the best apps on the google play store. Jason Steele is not only a fantastic animator but apparently an amazing game designer. The first level is a bit difficult and I was on the verge of giving up and uninstalling, but then I discovered the painting the background. Genius design, absolutely fantastic.

. EDIT: After 15 hours of gameplay I think it goes without saying that this is one of the most beautiful games of all time. I don't think I will ever tire of the sheer perfection that this game imbues. 10/10.

After beating the first room in no hurry I was upset to find the unlocked "Options" menu was missing a mute button. Fix this bug and I'll rate 5 stars! Great debut for the series and I can't wait for the prequels (I hope they're free too)

It's the in between of being a marshmallow person and eating some faces and being Carl and head butting children off the side of a ship. Also to beat the first level you have to get someone to hold down the screen also and though the power of friendship you will be able to beat the first level.

At first I was skeptical to download this game because of it's low download number which is usually a turn off for me. But after getting past the 2nd level I just couldn't stop playing. The story is so deep and the character development is unmatched plus they are voiced by Jason Steele himself. I would highly recommend this game for anyone who is looking for a casual yet challenging mystery game adventure.

To be honest, I was extremely skeptical on the first level with the chandelier. A few months after I bought it, I noticed something ( hint: look in the background). Once I got the mechanics of the game, I was able to go through many levels. This game is pure genius. The graphics, plot, and background voice deserve prizes. One of the most amazing pieces of work on the internet. No way should this game be free, it deserves at least $6.00. And that was probably the best plot twist I've ever seen.

Probably the best game I have ever played in my life! It covers everything from imagination at its best to puzzling mind tricks that produces hours of entertainment. I would pay a lot for this masterpiece, it's brilliant for those who love an excellent brain teaser. Took me hours to do the stainless steel curtain level but definitely worth the time. I am just so speechless on how so much creativity and graphics have been put into the making of this incredible game!

I expected the usual humor, but the story definitely took some dark twists. The Charlie, Ghost House, and Spatula cameos really balanced out the seriousness and the laughs. Later stages have so much going on that it kills my battery though.

This such an awsome game!! Would definitely buy it for $6 the ending is such a suprise. The first level is Hard but once you get past it, the mystery really kicks in. I would see the videos for some hints but I don't want to give anything away. I would rate 10/10!!

Upon downloading the app my eyes were immediately drawn to the fantastic graphics and spooky atmosphere that is Westington manor. I am about two hours into the story and fighting the mud people of gartahn and not yet has this game left me feeling bored or unamused. Bravo on a top tier story and entrancing gameplay, now I must wait for the console edition.

Absolutely incredible attention to detail. The intricacies in this game are mind-blowing. You won't believe it until you try it, trust me. The ending leaves you in so much suspense that you cannot wait for a sequel. My heart was pounding with suspense as the elephant sauntered forward to what was almost certain doom.

This game is quite possibly the most thrilling thing I've ever experienced! The plot line was incredible, I just couldn't look away! The twists and turns of the story will always keep you on your toes, too! And let's not forget about the character development, I mean just WOW! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I have played MANY Games in my lifetime, but this is a masterpiece....Upon installing the game I was greeted with outstanding graphics and an amazing soundtrack that is fitting for this deep and dark game. At first I was skeptical of this game, but after beating the first level the game REALLY picked up, with the games multiple endings and revolutionary design it is sure to win the hearts of many players! The only downfall to this game is no PC or console port in the near future, which is needed.....Overall this game gets a 4.9 out of 5! Great game.......

This game pushes the limits of your imagination and blurs the line between what is considered a game and what is considered real life. It is impressively well crafted and pushes you to think outside the box to solve the mystery. Once you get past the admittedly hard first part, the game becomes extremely rewarding. I hope other app developers follow suit and spend as much time creating masterpieces like this.

(I'm looking at you Activision) This app has to be the best I've ever downloaded. The story, graphics, and game mechanics is outstanding. I'm surprised I didn't finish the first level sooner. Hint painting hint ;) the boss fight at the end with the meat dragon was comedy gold. I can't wait to see the next app filmcow makes.

This game has changed my life forever. I don't think there will ever be a better game available in our lifetimes that can top this game. The technology, ingenuity, the ultra-sensitive pinpoint controls, story, and replayability are some of the best on the market and I know there won't be another like it until the next century. 12345/10

An application worth downloading, the levels are nice to play. The scenes are detailed and sometimes graphic. It gave me some frustrations, however, when I had to try and chase the unknown murderer. The game is amazing overall. Can't believe it is free!!!

This game had the best stories I have ever read, it gets so much better after the first level. You realize who you really are as you laugh your way through. Oh the frustrations and realizations.

I really love your channel and your videos. Can't believe how you could put all those famous characters (like Charlie the Unicorn, Llamas with hats, Horseman, etc) into such a breath-taking game. ...I was SO Bored. Then, I came across this game; to say the least, it was awesome. The people at Film Cow have yet again produced another high quality art piece that will be recognized by the masses for ages to come. Challenging human intellect on a level that few have experienced, Jason Steele pulls the application's users to look at the world from a new perspective. To say the least, the experience I had left me as an emotional rollercoaster. It has truly changed my life.

I've been seeing a lot of people 1 staring this because they cant make it past the first level. Those people obviously dont know how to play an android game. This right here is the most spectacular and spooky app I have ever played I would HIGHLY recommended every one try it right now. I mean what do you have to loose its free right?

This game is amazing! Simply one of the most unique and original games I've ever played. I compare this to Final Fantasy or Dragon quest. I have to admit the first level was extremely difficult, took me an hour to figure out how to past the chandelier, once I did... OMG. It plays like a game but feels like a movie!

Most definitly the best game i have ever seen on android!! I have played for hours on end even though i have an extremly important test in the morning and im losing sleep i could barley stop playing just to write this review! Its like god swallowed a rainbow and a sherlock holmes novel while watching filmcow videos and two days three hours five minuets and thirteen seconds later this game came out of its anus! After passing the first level which I will not lie was hard and delving into the crime almost made my heart stop with plot twists and comedy. The maker of this app put time and thought into each sentence, character, and, detail. I just want you to know that if you start this app, you will lose your social life. So immersed into the game and all the loving characters in it. God I'm shedding a tear thinking of when I finished it. I leave it to you to control mister snuffles to figure out this crime. The first few levels were a bit of a struggle, but after you get the hang out it the game is a breeze. So much replay value, and the level design of the 6th level was amazing. It was sad to see it end, but the boss fight will definitely throw this game into the ring for IGN's and many other outlets android game of the year.

Holy crap. This is one of the spookiest yet greatest mobile game I have ever played! The story is amazing and each level gets better and more intense its just jaw dropping. And the ending is out of this world amazing!! I recommend this game to anyone who loves thrillers! You will not be disappointed.

I'm seeing a lot of good reviews but I can't get past the chandelier! I have looked though hundreds of reviews and all over the internet, and found nothing. For those who said watch the videos, he dies from the chandelier falling on his head. I would love to continue playing the game but I don't believe there is anything beyond the opening scene.

Don't listen to all these trolls posting reviews about how in-depth this game is. It's just pure trollery. The chandelier is invincible. Still 3 stars for someone as big as film cow for having the balls to just f with everyone like this. Needs a new genre title: digital performance troll art?

Incredibly well done and deep story that never gets old. The game play is extremely intuitive yet changeling. I hope they make more! (spoiler) the last mystery is a plot twist!

I am shocked this title is completely free; I'm usually skeptical about phone games, but I haven't been this addicted to a game since Final Fantasy 7. I felt the tutorial could have been a little more in depth, but once you manage your way through the first two stages it becomes a thoroughly rewarding mystery adventure. Certainly a basic skill level is required to play, so it may not be for everyone.

Simply one of the single most amazing pieces of work to grace the mobile market. This game has so much more potential outside the mobile phone market, its almost disappointing.

There's a steep learning curve at first but putting in the time to learn the intricacies and timing of the game play is worth it. This is basically the perfect mix of addictive game play and dramatic storytelling. I have to admit I saw the twist ending coming from a mile away but it didn't bother me. The real strength of this game is in the journey not the destination. And hey, you can't beat the price. It's worth at least twice as much.
