Stern Pinball Arcade

It is cleaner than it was, it is at least playable now. The volume control does work again (as long as the table isn't loading). The lights for star trek fail to continue if you app switch away and back again. Increasing from 2-4 stars. Old Review: Really excited to play modern stern tables, but wow, you need to clean this app up. Can't switch apps when in it, volume up/down no longer works, interface feels terrible. Please, just copy Zen Pinball for your interface, it isn't one of your strengths, have a real professional do it.

I'm happy that I can play modern stern tables on my phone. There is one major bug that needs fixed, the fire buttons do not work at all. Also sometimes when I open the app, starship troopers starts up eventhough I don't own it. I can't wait for ghost busters!

Better than it was on initial release. There are still a lot of bugs and weird control problems, but it's a big improvement. Don't buy unless you have 2gb RAM.

Did a delete,reinstall,reboot Same thing runs to slow Tables run to slow on galaxy S4/ even older pinball arcade tables/

Revised review. Better product after a pretty disastrous first release. Great game play, one of the better pinball simulations. Would love to have a "save to cloud" feature like Pinball Arcade does.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 running the latest Android, Nougat. Flippers feel like jello. Uninstall/reinstall and still the same. It's a shame, as it looks great.

It still doesn't recognize my purchased tables with the Pinball Arcade app.

I thought the free tables were good and was going to purchase a table until it showed it is $9.99 PER TABLE.these devs are smokin something.its a good game but at $9.99 per table is the reason why it gets low ratings.simply ridiculous.

I cant get Mustang acdc or startrek back how do i get those tables back

The game is playable now at least. The graphics could use a boost as well as the standard lighting.

On the app start up it states there are free tables. When you click on one of the 'free" tables it costs anywhere from $9.99- $19.99. That's hardly "free".

They truly captured the spirit of Stern Pinball with significant delays and buggy software.

Definitely on the right path with this release. My older LG G3 is much more playable with this version.

After a premature release in Dec 2016, the product returns with many improvements. With these improvements a much tighter supported device list is in place, so if you can't install it your device either doesn't have enough RAM or runs an OS that is too old. A new plunger touch scheme is in place that allows you to select songs and missions. The thing I love about the new Stern tables is that they sound amazing compared with the older TPA tables. I look forward to a time when the sample rate is upscaled a bit on the old tables to match the khz quality of the new tables.

Many bugs now are fixed. Tables and game play seem better than pinball arcade. Still seems easier than real pinball. ACDC table is lots of fun. The pricing still seems very high. £9.49 for just a single table is way too much. Particularly with no demo mode.

Very sad. Love FarSight but come on guys. I play normal Pinball Arcade on this phone just fine but this new iteration won't even load. Just a black screen. Till I can actually open it 1 star is all I can give unfortunately :-( UPDATE: Since the re-release there has been progress. Now I get a loading screen instead of a blank screen. That is all. Using a Samsung Galaxy 3 which plays normal Pinball Arcade fine. Will I ever get to play this game? Not holding my breath anytime soon :-(

Looks like they fixed this. I'm still not a fan of how TPA tables are here, but if you already bought them there you don't have to pay again. $10 for a Stern table is a bit much. I'll wait for big favorites. Not sure about compatibility on all devices (Galaxy S7 here). Saw a touch of slowdown on Mustang during multiball but 99% all good. Good job for now Farsight.

A better release than the initial one, but this one still looks and feels like a beta. Mustang is cutoff in all but one camera view, in portrait; there is no way to disable event cam; you have to flip back and forth to the options to see the touch zones; no landscape views of tables.

Best pinball on android,lots of fun.will you be releasing hook by data east it's my favourite ever pinball machine I used to play it in the pub 25 years ago

Everything is perfect after the update but AC/DC still crashes on my Nvidia Shield. And it turns on my Bluetooth every time.

Not nearly as good as Pinball Arcade

Found it stuttering but when I restarted my phone it worked fine.

This needs to be fixed. This is not even close to as polished as your regular game. Ball movement is horrible. Like other starship Troopers opens and I don't even have the game, after playing one game on start trek it freezes, you can not hit your launch button which is needed for the game. You need to fix this. I am very disappointed that Stern has let this game go this long in this condition. Farsight you have been given a wonderful opportunity working with Stern and this is total garbage.

Why is it not compatible with my Samsung Tablet ,which is better than my phone. If this is something which effects all Tablets it seems a strange choice to make, surely most would rather use their Tablet than phone . Its bugged out anyway so its not like I'm going to playing it , so thats some consolation

First thing - why it all is not available, for example, for tablet SAMSUNG SM-T530 which have necessary ANDROID version? And - I already wrote to STERN PBA about displayed action buttons which are inactive.

The game felt rushed for the holidays. Can't exit. Volume bar not appearing when pressing on phone. $9.99 to purchase tables and not just one table. Want to play more but game needs to be looked at extensively by developers.

I've been a faithful player of The Pinball Arcade for several years, and was thrilled when this became available for the Android due to flipper lag on the XBox One version. However, as other reviewers have noted, this seems to have been rushed, and has several flaws. My biggest complaint is the lack of "landscape" version, which makes my phone easier to hold while I play. Even more galling, though, are buttons for in-game play which don't work, like the cannon launch button on AC/DC. Disappointing 1st step.

Did the beta get released by mistake? Black areas, non-working fire button in AC/DC, variable/sluggish/overclocked processing of all selection buttons, erratic pacing -- even on a high end tablet. Unusable at present.

I was excited to see this finally released on android, but this is unplayable as it stands. You cannot test the tables as you can on the standard pinball arcade so I bought table pack 1. ACDC crashes to desktop and the other tables have black squares over the screen so you can't play the tables anyway. Totally unplayable in this state. Disappointing and a waste of £20

Really buggy controls unfortunately. I often miss flippers because of the tight tolerances on input location. Menu is completely useless. Doesn't work on my Nexus 7 either.

The game doesn't work properly. Dont download this expecting the quality of the normal pinball arcade. This game is broken.

I got this for one table, the AC/DC one. I paid my 4.99 and regret that impulse decision greatly. I have their other offering, TPA, and love it, and it bugged me that one of my favorite tables wasn't available. This collection is very buggy, buttons don't work all the time, the fire button on the AC DC table will not fire the cannon, or indeed work at all outside of launching the ball. The ball routinely freezes and skips through space and the game force closes far too frequently. Not quite a sinking hot mess on the floor, but still hold your nose bad. Hold off for now and wait for the devs to fix all the issues.

This app is really poop. Farsight studios has done and can do better.

Plays ok on note4, but my Shield K1 has black patches obscuring the playfield. Menus are small and buggy. Pricing is wrong in uk for individual purchase of mustang. I think it was a mistake to release this in this state. I'm waiting for fixes for Shield K1 before making any purchases. Was just about to drop £15 your way - it's a shame.

It's very buggy. There is a black square in the middle of the screen that obscures half of the table. Looks like a menu that should not be there. Unplayable on my device (Pixel C) like this.

there's so many bugs it's unplayable at the moment. I'll hope you will get it fixed though.

I cannot see the flippers on the bottom of the screen while playing. Switching between camera modes does not help.
