Cool game, well made and quite slick. Only problem is that it's not that hard to win, even against the Hard players.

I really love this game. The computers do a great job of playing how they should. I would gladly give it 5 stars if two things could be added. First and online game play, I feel like a game like this would really benefit if you could have an online game session with friends that you know. And second potentially being able to have different computer skills. So be able to choose what each computers are which level. That's just a minor idea. But again I love the game!

Very easy to play for my family, great for when traveling or rainy days... Board game is very good but to fiddly with the small pieces... 5stars :)

Perfect implementation of the board game. And you get the setup in a second, which was my biggest gripe.

It's OK, but doesn't hold my interest very long. Get "Splendor" or "Galaxy Trucker" for a better board game experience :)

I like the board game version but setting up all of those tiny hexagonal tiles is a ball-ache. This digital version is great: all play, zero setup.

Only possible improvement would be some more layouts or a random layout, but there's enough choices that this isn't a major complaint.

I think this game is funny and easy to play. I think this game should add editor mode to edit the battlefield.

This game's simple premise and lovable theme really work. It's too simple a game to play against AI for very many rounds, so there may not be much value in having the app on your phone, but that isn't the dev's fault. Will maybe buy the physical version some day.

Even on hard the AI makes serious endgame mistakes. It is far too easy to win due to the AI not sending to care about cutting players off and creating their own sections. It is disappointing because the game speed and look is ideal.

Like chess, it can be simple or difficult. Easy rules, lots of strategy needed.

My partner and I found this game on amazon as a board game and were going to buy it. But we saw the mobile game for 63p and figured we'd try it for less money. Its a brilliant game if not a tad violent with the whales lol

Perfect example of turning a simple abstract strategy game into animated fun. A board that disappears as you play - brilliant! Not hard to beat the AI; just the same, this is a keeper.

Loved the board game but loving the Android adaptation even more on my tablet. Extremely nice not having to set up the board each time and always having an opponent to play against.

Cute game, my daughter and I love it. Various boards and difficulty levels keep it fresh, art and animations are great. Good bit of replay. Keep the great games coming, FFG!

Excellent graphics, easy to use UI, lots of fun! I feel like I should give it five stars, except it's missing two big features - undo, and network play. If it had those, it would get five stars for sure. Great implementation of a really fun board game.

What a wonderful game! I bought it to play it with my wife, so I haven't tried against the AI yet. We both love it: great animations and deep tactics. It's really a bargain if compared to the board game version (and you don't have to set up the pieces!). The only thing that bother both of us is that all penguins get eaten by a killer whale at the end. Shouldn't at least the winners surivive? lol Played on a Transformer.

I have this in cardboard, a Secret Santa gift few years ago, and I am ashamed to say it doesn't get nearly as much gameplay as it should. All because the setup takes twice as long as the game itself. Well, this little app is worth its weight in gold - instant setup! We've played it loads of times already, it's my 5yo daughter's new fav game - she even plays against herself, and it doesn't require permissions! What more could you want! :) (Played on Hudl)

If you've already played the board game, this has the advantage that it's quick to setup. The AI for the computer players feels pretty decent to this beginner, but obviously doesn't have The same satisfaction of a human player. If you are new to the game it is simple to learn but has surprising tactical depth. Games are over in a few minutes, and the slowly disintegrating play field provides a nice arc, giving clear phases to each round. There is nothing more satisfying than baiting someone into a trap.
