Stop - Categories Word Game

Got bored within the first 5mins of playing. Wouldnt allow my answer such as james for a boys j name. Ran out of lives fast and the stop button does not work

Nice little game to get you thinking. The only thing I think could be improved is the letter spinner which often gives the same letter over again, when you spin it often seems to land on the four quarters and you get repeats. Replace with a random letter selector maybe

Argh! I have lost my life to Stop! I find myself getting annoyed when people don't play back immediately! Highly addictive

Does it really work?? Stop button wouldn't stop! Couldn't see the random players answers! And when did finally seem to be playing against another player they won in about 10 seconds and some of the answers didn't make sense!! Useless game!!

Way too many ads. Before you play there's an ad, after you play there's another ad and they just pop up all the time. It really spoils the game. Could have been a pretty cool app but not going to keep it when you can't even skip the long ads all the time.

The game is highly addictive, yet the joyment was killed because the game keeps freezing on my OnePlus 3 everytime I press the play round button next to my opponent. Also, it would be a better experience if both players would be able to play each round in prallel instead of having to wait for the player to finish the challenge, then finish the one in the round after. Also, I believe the randomization of letters and categories needs more... Well.. randomness... I keep getting the same group of letters despite my effort of changing the starting letter, speed of wheel spin. Please fix those issues as soon as possible cause this is a truly addicting game. Thanks.

It's a really fun game to play with friends and family. Really good concept. Only issues, which really ruins this game, is the fact that the question shuffle doesn't actually shuffle! Out of the hundreds of topics you can have... It always "shuffles" to categories you've just answered... Making you waste coins all the time on choosing topics etc, plus the letter spin constantly lands on extremely difficult letters no matter what strength of spin you do... Name a tree.. A mammal.. A famous british figure.. A famous fast food chain and a British tourist attraction... YOUR LETTER IS FRIGGING X!!! Cheers

Very fun, great for passing the time with friends or alone. There are however quite a few answers that have been right but they have not been accepted. I did report them but not sure if it adds them for next time or not.

Absolutely love this game! Only suggestion would be to make it clearer when you have a chat message. Also, those moaning about the stop button not working - you have to slide it!

Love this game, used to have the physical. Game called "tell me" as a kid. It us very buggy though. The game sounds work intermittently at random times. If the game is open in the background it messes with the sound on my phone and other games, it even affects the noises my phone makes when typing messages. Not gonna delete the game Cuz I enjoy it do much but would really appreciate it if you could fix bugz

It's a great game, but the ads are obnoxious, some you have to exit twice to actually exit. Game also hides my soft keys and I constantly click the ad that conveniently replaces it because I forget

Great game, was a little unsure at first but once I got the hang of it I enjoyed it. Sometimes when you do put a correct answer in, the game says its incorrect, although when I am certain I am correct I will select the "valid answer' answer, maybe answers are corrected with each update?! I love some of the categories they really make you think, some categories I don't like but oh well. Sometimes just putting in silly and stupid answers is better than trying to make a serious guess. As you level up you unlock more categories, some better than others. Some people complaining about the wheel selecting certain letters and categories, don't know about you but I have no problem, its all random.

Fun game, keeps you on your toes. It's annoying when people put one word and stop the game immediately--kills real gameplay. But playing friends is great

Scattergories done right. With two modes and a lenient currency system, this app is as addictive as it is fun. Would love to see singleplayer features, even if it doesn't reward tokens or give XP. Excited to follow the devs' progress! 5/5

It was a great game... until it completely stopped working on my phone, it won't open at all, and on the rare occasions that it does it won't let me play any of my matches. I paid 2.99 for the unlimited lives upgrade, and it was really fun until it stopped working, now it's just annoying me and I won't be able to get my money back, so only get this game if your prepared for that risk!

Its good game certainly gets ur mind going but then it seems as though its hard all the same time but the thing is it keeps force stopping for no reason plz fix as to why its doing this ive just uninstalled n reinstalled but i will unistall if this keeps happening. Think its a great game

I enjoy the game but it can be quite slow or crash too often. Some answers aren't given or come up yellow and it's frustrating to have no idea why the yellow ones are close but not close enough.

Great game! Had no issues with gameplay although I didn't realise you had to drag the stop button at first! Highly recommend

Fanatee, can you please make all categories open to all players no matter where they are from, i.e nhl, nba, mlb team names for people from the United kingdom not just from the United states. And in general the more catergories the better! Great game. Thank you.

I'd like if the autocorrect was enabled cause when you have to type fast on a touchscreen keyboard is even harder. Overall I'd give it 4.9/5

Fun game to play. The only thing is when you spin the wheel & you want to change the letter it cost 2 coins and then it lands on the same letter & you should be able to earn more coins

It's entertaining but I have gotten a lot of my correct answers thrown out. Needs more knowledge of current pop culture.

I expected the number and frequency of the ads - that's what a free app is about. But the frequency of the SAME ads is really annoying! I wish matches would expire quicker, so I don't have a huge pile of games with people who won't play. And I also wish there were a way to practice. And lastly, this app will freeze every now and then, also freezing up certain other things in my phone. The only way to fix it is to restart the phone. It's a fun game though! I've always loved the game Scattergories, and this is a great way for me to play w/o continually bugging my family to play.

The game is a great idea, very addictive. But when watch a video to get a free life,it never gives me the life. Maybe predictive text would be a good option for writing your answers too.

Some of the answers are bad, asking for a letter E and giving an answer with the letter c and still getting half a point is just stupid and annoyingl

I love this game...so addictive BUT some answers that are correct are not counted as correct. Especially in the Game of Thrones category. I know for a fact that three times now it has said my answers are incorrect when I'm sure they are right. I know that show (and books) better than most people. It didn't even give me credit for Joffrey which everyone knows is right. Even people who don't watch the show know that name. I clicked on it and chose 'this is a valid answer' but that doesn't do anything about th

Ads overkill. There are WAY too many ads!! This spoils what should be a good game. Also, when I spin the wheel, I usually end up on a "V"... If not, it'll probably be somewhere near the end of the alphabet where the hard letters are. And also some things like "Oscar Nominated Movies" are too hard. I got a "V" and I had to answer that... Couldn't think of anything. Overall its a pretty good game though.

You start the game with a bunch of free tokens, (which I used to receive hints on useful words) and ever since then I can barely scratch up a coin or two as reward for playing multiple rounds. To me, that's garbage. It also constantly lands on letters that I'll never be able to form words with. Average individuals like me will get little satisfaction out of this game

Games great in theory, the stop button doesn't work on the s8 though so even when you answer everything you have to run the timer down. Opponents also just seem to answer 1 or two (incorrectly) and then press stop. Uninstalled after 5 minutes

As long as this game is open in the background YouTube videos won't play; but once you close the game completely YouTube starts to play again. Also I love this game but I get a bit annoyed when people stop playing after one round. I feel like people do it intentionally because it lowers your chances of leveling up. I could be wrong. Anyways, great game! I love how it makes you think! It might be educational and improve your memory also! Needs more categories though beyond just leveling up and unlocking categories

Game is fun every once in a while. Often you get letters which are far to tricky for some of the statements you are given. Also the 'watch a video for a free heart' option doesn't work half the time which is annoying as you only get three hearts to start with which is nowhere near enough. Still the concept is good and is fun at times.

Would be 5 stars but I agree with others about the expiry time for games. It's very annoying having a big long list that's going nowhere because the other person stops playing the match because they are losing. I would like Fanatee to award the points to the other player if one player stops playing a particular match. It's very frustrating to compete and be winning either 2-0 or 2-1 and then get absolutely nothing out of it, especially when I have used my coins to get a better letter or topic!

The app was fun until they included video ads which you can't skip until it's played through. This after every single match is painful. Great game, terribly ruined by advertising.

Ive played every day since my previous review 10 months ago! Clearly I am huge fan, and hopelessly addicted to this amazing, compelling app. What Ive grown to appreciate is the clever way this game can accept and recognise quite abstract correct/almost correct answers. It is a good example of the highly impressive and accurate database of correct answers for each category. If you have a good general knowledge, fast fingers, excellent spelling and a quick, creative mind....you will enjoy what you get out of his delightful app. Thanks fanatee :)

I really love this game, even though it makes me jump every time an opponent presses STOP! It was worth paying 99p to get rid of the very annoying ads

Great game. Some of the answers are a touch dodgy, but never mind. I would give it 5 stars if there was a way to see total head to head scores against other players, especially facebook friends. Good job though

Great game. Had me and my partner in fits of giggles when playing against each other. So funny when we read each others silly made up answers.

Brilliant game, most of the family love it. Only problem is that some of the rejected answers need reviewing. Quite a lot are so obviously correct. I know there's the option of informing you, in - game, but it can be annoying!
