A cool multi-user art project concept. I like the idea of this app, but the execution is pretty lacking, unfortunately. I got my paintbrush to start loading and painting dots, but I never saw a map (or anyone else's dots), just a black background, and I couldn't seem to change the color. Maybe a web interface for viewing would help? Let me know if you need a hand, like I said, I like the concept.
