The app is ok but it's rarely updated when it could clearly use a few fixes and features. The genesis emulator that this was apparently based on now has a over clocking feature that this would greatly improve this emulator as well. While it remains functional, the lack of any real updates makes me feel like this emulator has wasted potential.

Please can you sort the bugs out for Mega CD/Sega CD, because on some games once it stops working it doesn't work at all. Also it'd be cool if there could be a 32X support on the app as well. Samsung Galaxy S6

The main reason I got this was for support for the Sega CD. And not a single bin I have used has worked in this emulator. Not a one. It opens to the normal sega CD screen, and then it opens the game. The second any game opens and goes to the title screen, it all freezes in a very short loop. I have attempted numerous troubleshooting techniques, but nothing has worked. Is there anyway to somehow get this to function properly? I can't find any other emulator for the phone that will play sega CD so it's gotten sort of frustrating at this point.

Wonderful emulator, just be aware that the Sega CD is not compatible with all roms (At least from my experience). Tried 3 different ROMs, one worked, the other two experienced this issue where the Sega Logo boots up then freezes. I assume this is because the emulator itself does not have "perfect sync" according to online discussions. Otherwise, very good emulator. Highly recommend.

Best Genesis emulator on Android. I've tested it with close to 100 ROMs and it's got perfect compatibility. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the Genesis!

Great emulator, lots of different options to tweak with, though it would be nice if you could emulate the 32x as well, since the sega cd is there, why not 32x as well?

Didn't mind paying as it's compatible with Xbox one controller via Bluetooth and supports screen mirroring. Amazing app plus it plays almost all roms from freeroms

The emulator itself is great. The fact that it plays SMS makes it even better. The problem is that every time I start to record with the YT Gaming app the screen goes black and won't show anything until I stop recording. This is only excusable for a free app. There is absolutely nothing excusable about this happening with a paid app.

Robert Broglia ports some of the best emulators to Android. There are free open source options out there like RetroArch, but usability is a nightmare. The ".emu" series have a clean interface and plug-n-play controller support that easily make them worth the money.

Great Sega emulator! Worth the $5! But needs Game Gear Sg-1000 and 32x support. Strange it doesn't have those, since the Picodrive and Gen plus core supports them which this is based off of.

The emulation itself is quite good, but the interface is really bad. The menus, pause screen, etc...they all are badly (hard)coded. Would appreciate a refund, but 48hrs had past.

This is my favorite emulator for playing Sega games on Android. Only thing I didn't like was that it lacks support for 90hz and 120hz on the Razer phone.

Not only your Emu's are great, you're a person great too as you're the Dev who's giving away his hard work (Snes Emu) for free without ads and any other hidden catches in it. Really bummed in this one. I read that "some sega cd" games wouldn't work. The one and only reason I paid for this was Shining Force CD. It ... does not work.. had free emu for everything else. Waste of 5$..

This is the best emulator for what it does! It has no ads and is just brilliant! It even has cd support! Unfortantly there is no gams gear support but there is a good paid app for that as well. But overall the best genisis and cd emulator

Fantastic emulator. It's played every ROM I've thrown at it so far with great sound and frame rate. If you could include 32X emulation, that would be amazing (I know, I'm being greedy now).

It's a good emulator but: Aspect ratio is wrong for Master System games. Although Master System games are 192 lines tall, it is still 224 lines with the 192 lines centered. So the aspect ratio needs to be based on 224. Games are as a result squished sideways.

One thing that kept me from buying this emulator is will it run perfectly and most importantly will it sound perfect and it did exactly both and more then just that this app is worth every penny i love it so far and its a huge value its 3 emulators in one it plays sega genesis sega master system and sega cd whats not to love about this app

So far so good on all ROMs I own...except one. It says optionally supports .RAR for mat, but my Shining Force CD is in .RAR. and it just says "Invalid Game" when chosen. Has this feature been removed, or do I need to do something specific to get it to work?

Flawless Emulation and access to every technical setting an EMU geek could ever want. Also, no issues with accessing roms on SD card with my LGV20 running android 7. Sonic CD and Silpheed both working nicely. This is by far the best genesis/Sega CD emu on android. Sonic CD looks just like the native android app running on this. If this EMU is available for android tv, I plan to put it on their as well.

Needs Chromebook support. Excellent app! Always the most compatible. I own them all. For those on a Chromebook laptop, the developer needs to update the app for SD card support.

It is kinda worth it but it depends on the games you'll play. Sega classics for sega cd don't work. Game gear games don't work but it makes sense because this only emulates early Sega Home Console Games not portables sound is terrible like at games terrible I'm gonna refund and find an alternative

By far the best Genesis emu, Sega CD is a bit hit and miss. Its an awful shame that it looks like Robert has given up, as his work on android emulation was exemplary. He's clearly put a lot of work I'm a deserves every penny.

It even has game genie codes too. I tried to play the Sega CD games and Sega 32x games and it doesn't work. it keeps saying MD has stopped

I love the quality of the .emu-series emulators so much. They are reliable, comfortable, simple, user friendly, offer all the features you need if you want to play with a controller or on the big tv screen and simply work without any issues.This emulator is worth every single cent of its moderate price tag. Used this to play Snatcher a fairly unknown Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid) game. Worked great.

I'm perplexed why an emulator that runs Master System games doesn't run Game Gear games. That makes no sense. I really don't want to use someone else's emulator apps as RB's are what I've been using for years and are easily the best emulators out there. Please add GG support... It really makes no sense to leave it out.

Since phone software update the emulator can't find the SSID although the phone will still access all other data and NES emulator finding games fine so it's not the card or the phone. Keep getting permission denied message. Any help would be appreciated

I would love if Mr. Broglia would add 32x and GameGear support to this app, but I also would not mind paying a few bucks for standalone versions of 32x and gamegear from Mr. Broglia. One thing I am having a problem with is Mickey Mania for Sega CD. It won't boot, but works fine in other emulators. This is my only problem...

This man is worth every penny you can throw at him! The emulator he make are all excellent product, are functional from the get go AND are full of little tweaks that make the more hardcore emulation buff please, allow him to customize his game experience. Color pallet, video mode, aspect ratio and zoom with integer to preserve pixel ratio... This man is reading my mind and allow me to run my games like I want! I have bought all of his emulator and I suggest you do the same if you need any of the system he

I've tried several Sega Genesis Emulators and they've all suck. This is the best emulator out of all of them. The sound effects and music is actually enhanced, very nostalgic but you can tell the developer put a lot of work into this. It's compatible with external controllers, you can enhance the graphics and every game I've tried is compatible with no lag. Worth the price. Thank you Dev.

Tried all the free ones, gave up and tried this. Love it. One thing though a fan art library front end would be great!
