PSI: Submarine Combat for Android
It's not a fun game and they won't give me a refund this is stupid. Don't get it it's not fun!
Plays sorta like a simplified version of FTL, with the author's own spin on game mechanics. The basics are there, it's fun to play but obviously still early days. I look forward to seeing this game grow.
It needs a lot of polish, it was difficult for me to get into because the crew all look the same and the combat isn't as complex, needs auto fire and the ability to aim at systems. Currently from what I can tell you just shoot at the ship without the strategy of having to take down systems. Wasn't impressed.
Not even close to being in the same Galaxy of quality as FTL. Don't buy.
It's really hard to tell what's happening in a battle. In my novice status I'd say I would like to be able to zoom on my ship and scroll around to view it better on an S3
FTL Navy style! I like it. lots of work left to do but I like it tons! I will Keep On playing and I will inform the dev if I run into any big bad bugs!

This game has a lot of potential, but the UI needs to be much better if it's going to live up to FTL.

Fun game, easy to get used to and kill some time. Bugs I've found are with custom ships. Some of the icons don't show up, so its a pain guessing where you put controls. And I just had my 2nd force close. Both times it happens when I find a survivor and welcome him aboard. One of my guys is highlighted, but he's not the guy that moves and then the guy I welcome aboard goes to the same square on the ship and then it FC. When I restart, I can continue from before picking up survivor

Good game but hard lol challenging
Fire spreads way too fast it's practically impossible too put one out if it starts
Its nice to be playing then a fire starts killing the whole run because the controls suck for crew movement and by the time you got rid of a small area the rest of the sub is on fire
Good -Fun -Responsive Dev -Clear intentions -Not a clone of FTL -Tough in places but usully quite easy if you know how -Lots of hull variety. Bad -Imprecise controls -Hard to tell how if sytems are working or how to fix them if you are new. -Lacking Tutorial (there is one but it's not incredible) Bugs -When you collide with enemy and shop at same time game freezes up for about 10 seconds then runs slow. -Manned sytems randomly 'un-man' even though guy is still there
I'm gonna rate it 2. Altho the concept of ftl has been translated very well into this game, controls made it pretty much unplayable. Can't put fires out, cuz my guy isn't there. Shields aren't manned? But the guy is right there! Aiming at a specific system? Sure, but with 2 clicks to fire, and 4 weaps, i couldn't focus fire on 1 spot but kept missing. Pause or slow mo pls. I suggest auto fire after designating a target. crew assigned to clicked module with a member selected. Status bar for firefighting.

Really fun
Now running ok on Xperia Z
Well, after raking up a few hours of Reviewing this on a SS GTab 3 7", here's my 2 Cents on it, and I'll review for what it is. At this point, it's beta status is rather painfully obvious. To those curious, this is not FTL, but nor does it seek to be. Inspiration is clear, but for early development, this has a long way to go. Many assets seem to be placeholders, namely in the UI system, which can seem somewhat blocky and confusing to begin with. It's not pretty, but that is to be expected at this point. For what it does have, it could do with some foundation refining. One gaping bug was with the surrender system, when I would accept a vessel's offer, and still be fired on regardless. There isn't much clarity of your systems management, and piloting in the 'world' can seem clunky and not very smooth at best of times. To the dev, some pointers. Don't extend yourself to far into additional features until you've buttoned down what you have already! This has a solid idea, and the implementation of it is good thus far, but, as a starting point, give the UI some love. It's what the player will be staring at most. Keep it up. Will be following development closely.
Pretty awesome. Tough to control on a phone (Droid Incredible) due to button size, everything is very small. Great fun though, having a blast.

Couldn't get it to run on XperiaZ, the ship vanished when I tryed to select it.

Text is too small against a visually overpowering background, the controls are frighteningly complex for a touch interface on a 3-3.5" screen(which isn't tiny, so I think it's reasonable), sailors are likewise very hard to spot, and the entire power system is frustrating to understand even in the video tutorial. All this, yet I say it's a great game. The idea is solid, and the inspiration is fitting. Good app, despite the drawbacks.
