Tales of Honor

I am a David Weber fan and the game ably captures the atmosphere of ship vs ship duels in the Honor Harrington universe. The battle controls are easy to use, pack in a lot of information, and are very innovative. The campaign tree is long and interesting. I highly recommend the game. Edit: well now it just crashes on launch. other posts say it is no longer supported. too bad.

This has an interesting story and you don't need to be a fan of the books to enjoy it as a sci-fi adventure romp. If you're already a fan of David Weber's series, it stays fairly true to its origins with only a couple of poetic licences taken for the sake of gameplay. The in-app purchases are fairly unobtrusive, you don't need to pay to win at all, though you might get a bit miffed waiting for fuel when you're getting into the swing of things. Edit: as of 10th May 2017, fails to launch on my S5 Neo.

Really liked this game at iOS. Tried to get it for my android phone and... It does not start at all. I'm using redmi 4 pro, a lot more powerful device than i played it on before and i'm so sad about that. Please fix for five star review!

El crash-o. Wasted 34 megabytes downloading this junk. Motorola Droid Turbo. Did a little research and learned that this company no longer exists and the servers are no longer available. Why hasn't this been deleted? !

Ok, I had this app on a older phone than what I have now, tried it on a different one recently, Droid Turbo 2 and now have a LG X Power (both of which run on OS 6.0) It worked no problem on the old phone and I only stopped playing cause I couldn't progress from where I was. Decided to get this game again and give it another go around but can't. The app crashes shortly after starting. I've uninstalled it twice and reinstalled it and keep getting the same problem. Well, looks like I'm never playing this again....

Tried all settings but it shows developer screen, then crashes or force closes with no error message. Really was looking forward to playing this on a bigger screen then my lgg3.

Played a previous version on my phone, which was great. Installed on my Nvidia K1 Shield ruining Marshmallow, & it crashes to Desktop every time I launch it. Once it works again, I'll be glad to give it a 4 + star rating again.

Needs some level improvements to first ship and levels in second sector. I do have a problem with legendary salvage where I get noting most of the time. BUT all in all, Pretty good game! I Also Lost all my save data after I went away on holiday and despite my Google play being linked. All gone. It also sometimes (a lot) freezes on the load screen

I played this game on an apple tablet and it was great, however on my android phone it gets to the first mission intro where you become the captain, goes to the loading screen and freezes. I have to power off my phone and turn it back on again to use it. Please fix! Would rate it 4 - 5 star if it worked!

I have tried contacting you guys on several occasions using the email link on your page, and I get a kick back saying that the email is invalid. I have been playing this game for quite some time, and now all of the sudden it stopped working. Any time I click on the game app icon, it begins to open, then kicks me out ... back to my phone's screen. I take it there was an update because, this is the first time I have had any issues with it. Please advise! Thank you.

Is Evergreen Studios supporting this game anymore? If so, is there a new website for the game and/or support issues? EVERGREEN FOLKS, please respond to my message.

My suggestion, if dev can add new battle scene like battle vs planet defense or vs space station. n maybe add 360 degree rotation ability of battle view then it will really great..

No activity from the Devs in over 6 months. No activity or updates in the forum, no support for tickets filed either. PvP is nonfunctional, and no event activity in months. You can play the game to the end sure enough, just realize, it probably won't be growing past lvl 70.

Wont run on marshmellow!!! Will be 5* if ever runs again. Not money heavy at low levels, but i do recomend grinding hard before moving on through the maps. My ship has mostly legendary items now just from heavy grinding. At last a game that gives good value for money.

There are no more events or PvP, not even rerunning previous events. Game website has disappeared. Play the single player campaign if you want, but don't spend money on PvP ships or upgrades. Was a four star game when being developed.

I had this game on my previous phone and I loved it, never had a problem. But it won't work now on my LG-H815 re-installed several times but just doesn't want to load the game

I'm a big fan of the honor harrington series and really like this game, but I went to log in and my account was gone. All my progress and items are gone. Not thrilled.

It WAS a great game - but apparently some part of the backing fell apart and the servers and support have gone entirely offline. As certain important - perhaps not essential, but important - ship upgrades were only available through the PvP combat and live events - without those, making it through the story missions becomes more difficult, and any bugs in the game will simply never be fixed. As the game is free to download - don't let this dissuade you too much, but just be aware that the interactive elements are apparently permanently gone. I would have rated it higher previously - but now, it's lost a significant chunk of the gameplay.

was a good game, can't get it to start now though, using a moto E w/Android 6.1 wont start even with a reinstall it quits after the splash screen loads. Why half the players find the last sector hard is beyond me, lvl 61 is ez. Game needs a chat box so good players can tell the nubies what they are doing wrong

Despite the massive pay wall, aka buy and use ingame currency or you will litterally take 6 months to complete the game, should you actually reach the last map there us no ending the story just stops as anticlimatically as possible. Horrible spikes in difficulty, you go from crushing enemies to being totally overwhelmed over and over, just terrible game design. The only good thing is the story (which ends poorly see above) and the graphics. Great novel series but terrible game!!!

I've played this game off and on for a while, and as a huge fan of the Honorverse and a member of the RMN fangroup, I love the setting. Missions can be difficult, but I've found that sometimes you just need a break and to come back with fresh eyes. Unfortunately, with the upgrade to my S7 from the S5, it repeatedly crashes back to home screen from the Evergreen splash page. I've seen a few reviews saying that development has stopped; I hope that's not the case, as I am slowly working my way through it.

Freezes when battle starts every time i try to play everything loads up fine. I am on a galaxy tab4 dont understand why this keeps happening. Plz fix so i can play

I am impressed. This is a challenging game that stays true to the Honorverse while mixing it up and giving us an actually playable game. (Note: you need to make a PC game like Homeworld 2. That game is well-suited for rights purchase/licensing for a PC Honorverse game). EDIT May 5 2016: crash to desktop on S7 Edge. Will not run.

Potentially great game but there is little point spending money. I can get through the single player story in about two weeks for free. I can never get a match in PvP. Devs need to add something to make coiners (like me) put their hands in their pockets. What about super reward missions with a cool down thst you can pay to spead up or third ship with slow upgrades.

Great graphics, but buggy. It is frustrating to spend hours of farming to earn a new ship and the next time you boot the game, it has reverted to the previous ship. What a letdown. This happened twice for two different ships. No fix but to restart. Fail.

As you proceed through the story and eventually reach the point where you get that third missile battery, the HP of your ship just isn't enough for you to be combating enemies effectively, so perhaps making health upgrades more readily obtainable during the start of the game would balance this out, but hey, its your game after all, not mine. Again, I really do love this game and the combat mechanics, not many good games out there like this.

I have tried across numerous game updates and a couple OS updates, and I just can't seem to get the HUD buttons to display. I am currently using Android 4.4.2, kernel version 3.4.67 and build A7600F_A442_000_029_150401_ROW on a Lenovo A10. I would love to be able play as I adore the Honor verse.

The game doesn't work anymore, it just loads a solid black screen and does nothing else. It was a fun game until it was 'upgraded' to do nothing.

Since I played it, it's gotten better. I realize I had the wrong equipment, and weapons then.it was just me being bad at the game too.but there is one problem I did see didn't change. The mission I'm on is 17. It kills me in less the a minute. So there is a problem there.

I am really, really enjoying this game. Well thought out micromanagement aspects and the combat is quite enjoyable and understandably modified from what we read in David Weber's novels (15 min missile flight times for one salvo would have been a bit much). That said, there are many features that are less than satisfactory, but unfortunately I don't have the space I would need to get into them all. Primary of them is the INsane spike in difficulty you run into starting in the Elric sector. Watch out.

Once you get to the end of the game, there's no replay value. Can't replay past levels. Individual based achievement rewards challenges has been replaced with lame community events (score based reward system) with very little chance of getting legendary items now. Used to be an awesome game. Help and game support is excellent though.

Fun until... Mission60 was pretty much undoable. Did it anyway Game gets rather boring. But still playing strangely enough. PvP is a lot of fun, which made me give it an extra star.

The difficulty just shoots off the roof at lvl54. The whole game goes FUBAR after the havenite ship upgrade. That is some really bad scaling you guys did... The game is worth 5 stars actually, but I've been generous enough considering my frustration...

Works great on my S4, locks up on my Sony S Tablet. Love the game, makes me feel like I am in the Honorverse. Hope to see more characters from the books. Will change my rating once it works on my tablet. Edit-Now plays on my tablet perfectly. Would like to have the ability to see my ship in a 3D rotating view. Or better yet that same view for all ships I encounter in some kind of threat/ship library. Edit - need to get a better way to use and check parts inventory.

It's a fantastic game. With a slick look, gorgeous smooth graphics that should blow up devices, enjoyable immersive gameplay, and a staggering amount of system depth, it's deserving of an award or two! Unfortunately as a whole, it's badly marred by absurd failings that could have been solved with a little extra tweaking. This is most embodied by the tutorial,... or lack thereof. Players are forced to sink or swim and learn intricacies of the system by blind trial and error. At best, new players are taught to point and shoot, not how to properly aim or operate efficiently. Worse still (unsurprisingly for a mobile game) the balancing is erratic at best, and arbitrary at worst. Case in point being the entirety of the Elric sector. Later, you then get a ship that's inferior to the enemy's "inferior" ships. It's an entire class down from the Dauntless, and no tradeoff. It's a console grade game, it just needs to be consistently playable is all. RECENT EVENTS; Sooooo, we got useless/pointless/completely needless PvP tacked onto the side, but no rebalances? At the very least you could have better spent that wasted time making actual content.

At first it was a good bit of fun with plenty of acceptable story. Eventually the game became a bit tedious with long upgrade times(acceptable for a mobile game really). Eventually the fights got so insanely intense, with 16-20 massive salvos in space at once, that my galaxy g5 was brought to its knees by it. The lag just became too much to continue playing, right as I was getting very invested into playing it. Would probably be amazing on a high-end tablet, but phones just can't handle it as-is.

The gameplay is mostly gimmicks, but unique in feel and tone. The real downside is that the game creators don't seem to actually know anything about the fiction upon which the game is based and the game has so many out of place elements that the only reason one knows this game is about the Honorverse is a few names. I could do a ten times better job with the same resources, and I'm not a pro.

This game is really glitchy can't even defend myself because the missiles jump past my defences please fix

I think that the missiles should be cheaper since you need a lot of them later on but keep the nuke prices the same because nukes a OP ;) also could you maybe make an exploration element where you explore planets and if you encounter enemy species you can have the same battle layout as in space but instead of missiles have guns like LMG, assault rifle, sniper, etc. Also you can choose an officer to participate in place of a ship.

This game was fun at first, but when i reinstalled it on my new galaxy s6, it keeps freezing after I open a prize pod. So sad, it was a good game.
