Equity Battle - Poker Training for Android
It could be made a lot better if instead of picking hands at random the flop and turn trainers picked hands as to common situations that happen repeatedly like Top Pair vs straight draw for ex. Or set vs flush draw. When it picks them totally at random most of the situations aren't things useful to playing poker
Good concept and app works well, but as someone who's completely new to the concept of equity, I just find myself guessing percentages and not really learning anything. Would be better if the training actually explained what equity is and gave tips for how to calculate/estimate it.
Can't connect to server although comment below said a new version was out. Support has not answered my email.
I'm a noob but see legit applications to real poker situations, esp. heads-up.
Just getting into more advanced poker strategies and this is a great help. Sizing up your opponent and equity are important when it comes to poker and this does exactly that. Great app.
Add hand vs range quiz like in pokerstrategy equilab
Great app to work out equity
Allows useful practice of a small but important aspect of poker. Quick and convenient.
Great for practice. Will help you memorise equity percentages.
Does exactly whats needed. Great practice tool.
Makes me. a better player
Probabilities are a little off but its decent
Really helpful for learning poker equities
Nice game to game get better at poker
You know the game better after playing this.
Very useful and friendly
Solid
love it
Brilliant for what it is
App broken. Fails to connect to game server.
I'm pretty good at calculating poker equity's, but after playing this game I've realized I need to get a lot better. At a live table you have a little more time to make a decision, but not so with this game. It will truely sharpen your decision making which translates into more confidence from you and more caution from your opponents. :)
Edited: the app works great now!
Helps with poker training in a fun way.
While I like this program, the range training does not appear to work properly for me. It works but does not seem to calculate properly. Plus no explanation on how it is supposed to work.
I use this every day on the train and I am starting to recognise a lot of situations when playing life poker. As a result my all in decisions are more profitable
Cool app for practicing! Wish the app showed the equation for the grading and if the program includes ties in the winning percentage. Also an explanation about how to use the range training as a tool to get better.
It's very fun in a challenging way. Ads are annoying.
Uninstalled when it told me 22 had equal equity as A4 suited. Thats ridiculous.
It really needs some sort of training in the math of the situations. I'm basically just figuring it out by trial and error. Also the training section crashes
Awesome app to get equities down dead to rights but range training is really confusing and in need of explanation or at least instructions.
Great app, really helps you remember the vs percentages
Helpful app for learning equities
Good app
Nicely done, I like the "campaign" system where you can advance through the different challenges. I doubt I will ever completely succeed, though.
The app works it's good for keeping your chops up when it comes to hand equities
Great idea
But I would love it if it had descriptions of why that equity value is assigned to each hand, maybe showing each hands outs.

Just one week playing, and I memorized without any effort different scenarios. Best poker app!!

Massively over emphasizes arbitrary accuracy that will never come into play in real life situations. This mistake bleeds over into the fiddly controls. Do I have a huge edge or a marginal one? It's my hand strong or just OK for now? That would be better. I'd prefer a half decent game with bonus levels than a crippled freebe.
