Totally awesome, works great with a logitech gamepad through the usb adapter and with an external display through mhl / hdmi adapter. Stable 60fps. With this thing you have a psx in your pocket.

This is the best, no problems playing games with the note 5. Only problem is saving to memory card, it may save 1 out of 20 times. Can you Please Fix .

Works really well, have used ePSXe on the PC for many years as a PS1 emulator which works brilliantly so hoped for the same here on Android and have not been disappointed so far. Have not found any problems yet apart from a slight issue with the audio latency setting: it reverts back to the normal setting in a game when I've intentionally set it to very low because of the very noticeable delay in normal mode and it can be annoying to keep changing it every time I start a game. Other than the slight issue which I hope can be fixed, can safely say I am very happy with this.

Works almost flawlessly. I had a hard time making it see one of my roms, but i think the rom itself was faulty, and copying a functioning one directly from my computer got it working. It automatically scans and finds games on its own. Has a tremendous amount of performance and general usage options. And while not suitable for action games that use many buttons, the on screen controls were highly customizable with skins and drag_and_drop positioning. Honestly this works better than the PC version of ePSXe because on PC the music tracks in Twisted Metal 2 dont play in levels, where as here it runs perfect.

Cracking little app, nostalgia galore! Well worth the small charge, as no adds and no hassle. Straight to your favourite game with ease, very well done guys!

It would be awesome if the devs could make the 8bitdo Sf30Pro and Sn30Pro controller vibration work for games that support rumble if it's possible. Ps1 games with updated textures in HD with the right settings, so far every game has worked at 60fps minus a few 30fps or lower drops on game menus for some reason, a few texture issues with the openGPL plugin but nothing game breaking. Worth the low low price for what you can do.

Flawless PS1 emulator. I was hesitant to buy since there is no free option, but clearly they use that money to maintain the app! Buy it! Come on, do it now!

D70%
by D####:

Absolutely worth the money! Easy to use, really stable, supports every controlled I have tried on it, loads of different options And it has pretty good on screen controlls! But if that wasn't enough, YOU CAN MAKE SHORTCUTS FOR THE GAMES! It looks exactly like the games are stand-alone games you downloaded from Google play! If only this emulator could emulate the sound of the ps1's CD Rom drive, Then I would get a frikkin nerdgasm! I totally recommend this app!

Almost perfect.. The previous version of this emulator ran tekken3 smoothly on my shield k1 tablet using the internal resolution set to x2.. In this newer version however it lags and there is crackling sounds.. Please fix as this was running perfect on the previous version. Also in the tablet version of epsxe there is an option to set custom fps which is not present on the android TV version (shield TV) please add this feature..

Fantastic emulator for mobile. Full support for my Xbox One and 360 controllers, as well as my Steel Series Stratus XL. Has all the settings you'll want and need, and it's easy to get a game going. The only thing I couldn't find out how to do, is swap discs. Like for Final Fantasy and MGS.

Little happiness in a little pockets game can make difference when the games you played contained with memories. That could be happen when you playing play station game with epsxe emulator or other console game like nintendo, Sega, atari or others. Then you will begin doing nostalgia with this application.

Ran smooth and didn't eat too much of my battery. The only complaint is that the touch screen controls don't work well with action games that require frequent use of multiple buttons at a time. It worked well with RPGs and turn based stuff, but it would work even better if you had a controller to hook up to it. I was really impressed that it ran on my Galaxy J3 with absolutely no problems. Very, very impressed. Worth every penny.

My favourite PSX emulator for Android. The ONLY "issue" I have is the background image of the app itself. It's pretty ugly and old looking. It'd be nice if the Dev updated it to look modern but the app itself runs great and does everything it says.

Best PlayStation emulator on Android without a doubt. Audio can be a little iffy, but it's hardly noticable. I'm just glad I can play PS1 games for free. But I have encountered an issue with the original Pac-Man World. Everytime I try to save (in the actual game), it doesn't work, it gets stuck on the saving screen. I've tried this on other emulators and they were able to save just fine, so it isn't a bad rom. If you could fix this, that would be great. Otherwise, good emulator.

Awesome work! I only have one small problem. Reverse landscape doesn't work for me. No matter what, it uses regular landscape. It's only a minor annoyance but if you know how to fix it, please let me know. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S6. Thanks!

Great app when used with a controller! It takes a little bit of technical knowledge to set up but after that it's so good! Just a time saver- don't download the BIOS off the app Every BIOS like ePSXe says to, download off Google. Every BIOS is broken

Best damn emulator out there. It plays all my favorite games. Even on under rated phones the developers show support for this app. It's a must have for those of us who grew up playing videogames in the 90s and early 2000. Keep up the good work.

It's amazing, only problem is the mappings do not register Diagonal Movements. The basic up, down, left, right works fine but the leftup, downright, down left and upright only registers horizontal or vertical directions. Most PS1 games require these capabilities in order to move freely, not like some chess rook piece where your limit is 4 ways. I hope this flaw will be dealt with soon otherwise I want my money back

by D####:

The worst app for playing PSX. The cheat codes don't work. The menu doesn't come up. I know several others that are having the same problem with this app. Every time I try a code I get two options. Exit the game or continue and that's it. I know how to do the codes. It's a bug or major flaw in the app....

I love it. The old PlayStation emulator I had glitched out and even corrupted my final fantasy IX game so I couldn't really save at all. It's like being back in 6th grade playing PlayStation again.

D70%
by D####:

Unbelievably horrid controls. You can't map what you want, it's so so so confusing. The on-screen controls SHOULD just go away when gamepad input detected, it doesn't, you have to go thru multiple menus to do that every time you load a game. I haven't played this for years for those reasons and figured BY NOW it would be fixed. All issues remain. Horrid.

It's all good except... Watching this scan my NAS storage in search of the four games I own was one of the most painful events in recent memory. Is there no way to tell the app the exact folder my games are located in should I wish to ever rescan for new games???

Had to download older version because with the new version, the L2 and R2 buttons dont work most of the time with a ps4 controller. On the older version it works 100% of the time. With the newer version it only works 1/10 times i hit it on average. Will rate 5 if fixed. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing several times and i know its not the bios or roms because they both work perfectly on the older version. Also tried reconfiguring the controls multiple times. Please fix edit: figured out the problem. 5 stars across the board

I'm absolutely loving this it's a portal to my childhood games. The only problem which isn't serious that I have is I can't figure out how to activate (add in) extra AR Codes for FF7

Been playing one the oneplus 3t for awhile now and absolutely love it. I do wish that there could be an idiot guide to some of the settings, such as hold your finger over it to explain what it does or something. Also I don't understand how there is no auto rotation for the screen yet!

Im crying w/ joy. Finally i found the right settings. Im playing in portrait with 2x scanlines, 16bit,1×res w/ shaders. And it still looks damn good. No lag. Even in ff9 & chrono cross.

Had an issue where the on screen analog stick makes the buttons unresponsive on the psx setup, which is kind of annoying so Dpad will do. Other than that, great app.

D70%

Great app except some of the cheat codes dont work when i download them. Like Final Fantasy 7 code to where cloud can start a limit break in battle. I click on it and click apply and nothing happens. Havent used any other code. Other codes work as well.

Runs really smooth on Google pixel. Frame rate is unbelievable for a mobile PS1 emulator. Sound is a bit glitchy for some games, haven't tested Bluetooth controller stability yet but default buttons are really responsive. Great!

I was always happy with this app had it for years but now there seems to be a problem saving to the memory card. Every time I make progress I save direct to that and also use save states as a back up but after ivensaved and quit the game when I go back to memory card it's as if the save never existed as it isn't there. Tried other apps and loaded bios on all and works fine apart from this app. please fix

As true of a PS1 emulator you can get on a phone. Worth the $5. Recommended a good Bluetooth controller to go with it for games like Crash bandicoot or Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I play Hotshots Golf, Vandal Hearts, and FF Tactics on the touchscreen.

D70%
by D####:

SIXAXIS not compatible. Support team suggest buying another app. The app requires a root (which voids warranty). Therefore, ePSXe is not compatible with a playstation controller. Shame.

D70%
by D####:

Unfortunately it's very hard to use a Moga controller in Mode B, and Mode A is VERY laggy on Moga controllers. Other than that though, it works great! Fluid, fast, and compatible. Everything an Emulator should be, with plenty of graphics and sound options.

Amazing app! Going back in time and feeling I'm back in the nineties. Just wondering if this played PSP ROMs? Or is there any emulator similar that does?

If you know how emulators work then this one is at the top with the best. If your having problèms after an update it would be your rom so try to find another one. I have had no problems as i am running tenchu, gta2. Abes oddysey. FF7, resident evil 3, metal gear solid, with absolute ease with a controller.

Thank you. The only problem with this app I have is not worth mentioning. A p.s. junkeys must have. I haven't found a rom it won't run, for real I can jam t.h.p.s. like a dream

Works perfectly with every game I tried. The interface is easy to use and understand. The controls are responsive and no random crashes has been encountered. Highly recommended emulator for PS1 fans.

Very good emulator, well worth the money. However you do need to know about Bios files and other emulation jargon in order to run it well. Either than that, almost flawless.

Plethora of options, works perfectly with everything. Literally cannot think of one bad thing to say about it. Just connected my Xbox one controller and started playing games

Love this emulator. The only problem is when I play Valkyrie profile, it gets very laggy when you do combos in battle pls fix
