My favorite!

One of my favorite puzzle games on steam, now on Android! Crashes occasionally, and one puzzle required a guess (unlike the original which can be done with no guessing) , so 4 stars otherwise would be 5 .

Really badly designed copy

I don't know why people are complaining about having to guess. You never do. Quite the opposite: in some levels, there is additional information given that has no use whatsoever. Like a column with only three cells in it will have a bracketed {3} above it. The level designers must think we haven't quite grasped the game mechanics yet ^^. Nice game and faithful to the addictive style of the originals but I do agree with what others have said here: it would be even better with music.

You never have to guess. These puzzles are harder than the PC version. They sometimes require some lateral thinking but that just makes it a better puzzle game. Just take a break if you think your only option is to guess. Edit down to four stars as it does crash occasionally.

The gameplay is solid as it is good mobile port of hexcells, but it lacks the sound/music of the desktop version. The navigation is a bit clunky and the game will sometimes crash when switching puzzles.

The pc version full logic. That what hexcell shuld be.. Not like this guessing game without logic included. I bet every People who says this game 100% logic is dumb

All the levels are solvable without guessing, sometimes you just need to think hard. Only issue: I cannot import any levels. I paste the level into the box and load it, but it hangs on the message 'Finished, failures 0'.

At first, I also thought you would have to guess, but that is not true, it is just harder than the PC version. Sometimes a lot harder. But it is also more variable. The extra rules make it extra fun. I would actually prefer this version if it also had a random level generator. Also, sometimes it does not stay properly,but i can always get it to work eventually.

I love that there is an app for Hexcell game play! Unfortunately, I have experienced multiple game freezes. Other than that, I'd tap that 5 star rating for sure!

It's a great concept based off of hexcells but too many of the "puzzles" are a guessing game. The beauty of hexcells is there was always a way to deduce the solution.

Just completed every level, can confirm that all levels are solvable without guessing. It's a good port of hexcells and the puzzles are very engaging. I highly recommend that you try it at the very least.

A few ambiguous puzzles

I play Hexcells on the PC and 100% all 3 in the series and play a few randomly generated levels a day. This app lets me play 2 or 3 levels when im bored but falls short. I really tried to coop with the element of guessing but it really ruins the hex cells experience when you get one wrong out of not knowing enough. Anyway, good fan made game, could be improved.

This is a nice version of hexcells for Android. And for the people that says it's impossible without guessing, it's not. The number of remaining blue cells is always a relevant number!!! EDIT: Yes, I played more and you have to guess in some puzzles. Rating dropped to 3 stars.

But this game's UI is coded terribly. Why not long press and short press to distinguish interactions? And why is the frame rate so low? Further, the very first level includes no starting point besides a text hint. The first interaction is guessing. Immediately uninstalled.

I'm sorry, but the guessing makes this game really bad. The question marks should be removed. It is way to lazy to have the question marks in and really kills the game for me. Rework the mechanics, and have better puzzel design. Then I'll redownload it. Best of luck, and congrates years on android and you get my first comment ever.

Despite what other people say, you never have to guess. I've done all but one puzzle and I've never had to blindly guess. I like the variations on the rules on the harder levels. I just wish there were more levels.

I love being able to play something similar to Hexcells but I can't understand this game. I feel its not explaining complete the game mechanics, specially at the beginning. Feel I'm guessing some of the cells because there is no communicated way to calculate.

Nice to have a hexcell copy on the phone. Only downside is that it has crashed a few timed when i played trough it. It is 100% solvable wothout guessing.

Some of the puzzles don't comply to there own rules, and the game is a rip off of hexcells.

Hexcells is great, lobe that there's an adapted version for mobile but it locked up for me after like 5 puzzles

If it were designed thoughtfully. Requires guessing in the second level. During a tutorial. Seriously.

Imo this is better than the original hexcells. zoom in and out , pan around and community levels makes a big difference .

There's nothing logical about having to guess. Completely stupid.

There aren't always enough clues to be 100% certain about every move. For a game that keeps count of your errors, that's bad design.

Can't play more than 4 or 5 maps before game locks up. Playing on Nexus 6.

Could be more refined but even now it does what it needs
