Mahjong and Friends(MJ&F) is a traditional Mahjong(麻雀/麻將) game based on the Mahjong Competition Rules(MCR) introduced by The World Mahjong Organization. The game features all 81 types of Mahjong Hands defined in the rules.
**If program quits immediately after launching, please enable your device's internet connection, internet connection is required if this occurs, this is not a malfunction nor bug.
MJ&F supports multiplayer through either Bluetooth(*1) or TCP(Intranet/Internet/Wifi/Hotspot(*2)). Paid version supports hosting of 2-4 player game, where both Paid and Free version can connect as guest.
*1) Bluetooth game requires Android 2.1+.
*2) Hosting a "Hotspot" game requires Android 2.2+.
MJ&F supports in-game auto save. So that you don't have to worry about losing your game state on a transportation rush.
What's more, it features a record logging system that records all of the Mahjong Hands you achieved during your day-to-day game-play.
Want others know you've won with a "Big Four Winds" Mahjong Hand? No problem! You can always use the Capture feature to take result screenshot and save it to the SD storage, or use the Share feature to submit the screenshot to your favorite social network like Twitter or Facebook.
**When playing in network mode, ALWAYS use the same versions for all devices.
***dear all, please noted that Bluetooth is a short distance communication technology, it needs both devices in short distance(e.g. within 3 meters) to establish a connection.

Local play is fine. Either I don't understand the network instructions or it doesn't work and playing with real ppl is what I wanted most. It should be simple to get online with others.

Would be 5 stars apart from very annoying and persistent crash problem. Local tournament masters cup keeps crashing in the final, without being able to restart that particular match. This is my 3rd phone (HTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy S3 mini and now Samsung Galaxy S6) but the same problem persists, same level for each phone. Please fix!

Great way to learn Mahjong. There's a helpful set of rules. Play against AI to get better. There's cute drawings for all the AI, some notifications for possible moves and tips for what to discard/look for a winning hand at the end. Excellent features that really help me get a sense of how the flow of the game works. Really good for beginners to Mahjong.

I love that this is really Mahjong, not a tile matching game. It has some crashes and you have to have an internet connection, which are the big down sides. I prefer playing alone so why do I need an internet connection? I like that it keeps working over different devices (Sony S tablet, Galaxy S4 & S7) unlike some other games that I've paid for.

This is one of the most excellent mahjong games. Everything worked fine on my LG Optimus G but it often forced close in the final tournament mode, and the best I could do was to start the tournament all over again. Otherwise it's perfect.

My friends and I played the free version (TW style, 16 pcs), but the server mode is for 2 ppl only, so I try to download the paid version in order to host a game for four player. However, we can play TW style here ago it's useless..... Hope the developer can add. TW style, 16 pcs !!!
