only played about 5mins of the free and bought the paid. reminds me of kairosoft so far (what do you expect when kairosoft fans get to test it themselves?) suggestions: allow portrait orientation and also force screen to stay on. also add option to actually exit a game. this isn't apple where we have to push a physical button to exit things! then 5 stars. 7april: issues fixed within 24hours of mentioning them. would still like portrait orientation though.

From early this game was so good. Sooner. The system start slower. My phone still at the best condition. When i play it longer and further. It become lag. Pls FIX this and i will give 5 for sure

I'm not a big fan of playing RPG's, but this one is cool!

Things go from easy to ridiculously hard. Also wish I could 'queue' up my pirates' training. Its been a year of game time but my pirates never go to the camp fire.

I like the game a lot. At first I thought the game was a bit random but as I got further into it I figured out that's not the case and I can appreciate it greatly now.

The game is well designed and does many things well, my only gripes are the fact you can't sell items (I have like 10 random copper helmets), and level 4 being MASTER GUNNER then level 5 being carpenter, what a downgrade.

Game does not load on LG G2X. I've emailed the devs who said they weren't sure why it's not working and they will check the specs of the device. Kairosoft games run fine on my phone, so don't get why this would have issues. One star until the game either works or I receive a refund.

Absolutely love it! If you're like me and you buy every kairosoft game that launches, you gotta give this one a shot!

Enjoyable and some of the quests quite difficult. Though for some reason my saved game has disappeared :(

Its a bit boring, shame there isnt more to do

I see this game and this comany as true compeditors i this game genre......would love to see an airport sim.....get to run ur own airport .....starting off small and working up to an international airport.....would be fun ;0 please grant my wish...been asking kirosoft for an airport sim for months now ;((

I am liking the game, but there is this annoying popping that happens every few seconds :/

Saw some promise in it but needs more freeworld type gameplay its a story line wit limited side gameplay and minimum controls like to see yall up the game controls and what you are able to.do.wit buildings and charactera

Love it so far but I don't seem to be able to adjust sound while in game, still greatly enjoying :-D

The game makes a lot of poor design choices and isn't that compelling, you're better off buying a kairosoft game.

Alot

Look, its their first full release of a game. Wait til release 5 or 6 and if things aren't better, then they can suck it. So far, I'm impressed by this game compared to alot of other developers 1st releases. Besides, how many other Android developers can people name that release a game and update it with community feedback based bug fixes within a day? I thought so.

This game takes animation to the next level with pixel art, they did a fantastic job with that. However, every time the phone goes dark it takes 5 minutes to restart the game on my S 3, obviously it has way too much to load back into memory before it can start displaying the game again. My other gripe is that this game is way too easy. Good first go around, rebalance the game a bit to make the difficulty a little harder and add something so that I feel there is more replay value. At this point I feel like this is a once around kinda game

For the people that post how much they love Kairosoft but this one isnt that good? THIS ISNT KAIROSOFT MADE. Dont get me wrong its a good game but dont compare this to kairosoft or relate it to them as its a whole different ball game. As far as the game goes its quiet good end of!

Its impressive for a while. Worth a shot as its getting close to like the grail game. Even then it should have speed button.

I love Kairosoft games and heard this was similar. It's a promising start, but Fiz Brewery is way more like a Kairosoft game.

But after a day I got bored and couldn't get a refund.

With the Kairosoft games EPS is trying to emulate, you are rarely left staring at your screen waiting for something to happen. Here, that's half of what you do. Add in arbitrary difficulty leaps between sets of quests and a fame bug that freezes all progression (first save 4th game year I restarted at 327/160 fame), EPS is living proof Google needs to improve the refund system.

This is one of those game that you should get. Especially when you've played a Kairosoft game.

This game was fun, now I find that I spend most of the game time just waiting. The graphics of some characters glitch so I can't see what they are doing and it crashes waaaay too often to be any fun. Also, it would be nice to place buildings near or on the beach and be able to rotate them.

I was excited to play this game, but now I'm rather annoyed. The game refuses to work on my G2X! Every time I open it, it gets stuck on the loading screen! This is a major problem that needs to be fixed.

i like most of the kairosoft games, although i wish they were a bit more interactive. epic pirate story is a bit of a let down in that regard. you spend 75% of the game waiting for your pirates to get good enough to do the stupidly hard random quests, and 25% watching them quest (and usually lose). the difficulty of the random quests is weird too. even on green quests I'll sometimes not be able to finish as the enemies seem to be high in number and one of them has more health than all of your pirates.

I own a lot of kairosoft and this company can give them a run for the money..but please add upgrade for buildings and move option,

Really enjoying the game. It's simple, yet engaging.
