Powder - Alpine Simulator for Android
Feels like a first app that was an experiment in making a game. UI is a bit wonky (tiny text, just says "Play Game" or a broken "Play"?) Could use some detailing tweaks like the audio skips a bit on the loop and maybe make a player model that isn't a square. But, I loved the controls and the feel of skiing, very smooth and relaxing. Great start that could be a lot of fun, just needs an incentive to collect or keep skiing besides distance alone and you'll hook everyone
Really fun game I only have two suggestions: one is to have a smoother transition between the beginning and end of the background sound. It is a littlw bit obvious when the soundbite restarts. Also adding a soothing carving sound when the user switches direction might add more of a calming feel to the game. Thanks and keep up the great work!!!
As a 1st version it is pretty good but there are things to be changed. The others already mentioned; work needs to be done with the audio (some effects). The speed and distance displaying texts should be at the top because the player cannot actually see it. After all I love the controlling and how it feels. Good job.
Just picked up this game and it's a lot of fun. Very easy to learn, but challenging enough to be engaging. However, the text, and all UI buttons don't scale, which borderlines on illegibility on my Nexus 6P. But there isn't much (I found) in the way of menu that makes this issue a hindrance to playing.
Simple, intuitive and minimalist as promised and was also good fun to play! One issue I had noticed was performance lag, so perhaps and area of improvement (s7edge) and one suggestion is perhaps to replace the blue tracer with a avalanche animation or so. Besides that, I loved the game and would recommend it!
It gets way too fast to be fair. You need to keep it fair so I'd suggest find a better way to increase difficulty instead of just going faster. Maybe you could select from a few pre made patterns to go through that require a lot of skill at some point. Either way it needs to be slowed down. Also you can curve straight into the side and then you'll stand still until you get hit by the kill plane. I'd honestly pay for a version of this app that is totally fair and polished. Love the simple aesthetic and style
The mechanics and gameplay are exactly what I'm looking for in a mobile game. One problem I've noticed is since the obstacles seem to be spawned on a timer, the faster you go the fewer obstacles you see at a time. So it punishes you for carving and being careful. I would also like to see a personal record feature.
Press pause, then on the "bear" thing then anywhere to cancel then pause again. The screen will be dim but the game will be quicker and you'll be able to turn a lot faster. If you die you'll have to do it again.
UI is terrible, almost not readable, and the game runs way too fast. Runs are over in seconds, and you go much faster than the controls let you move. Not worth it.
Good game, I like the minimalism, and the little square skier. When I push the button to turn off the audio, it stays off only until I exit the settings screen. It's white noise that is so loud that I can't hear my music when it's playing at the same time.
I would like it if I didn't have to clear my phone history to reset the game so I can play again. I can't see the replay button because the game it too wide/stretched out.
Overall is fine. Found some fun bugs in the first 5 minutes though. If you double tap repeatedly from the very beginning of a game, a weird white screen appears from the top of the screen eventually . As well the obstacles spawn WAY too close when you do this and it becomes impossible to win
Game is simple and well made, but it is lacking a few features that many people would like. Leader boards, difficulty slider, and unlocks (different player modules) also the UI text needs scaling it is currently very small and hard to click (Moto X Pure Edition for reference)
Nice minimalist aesthetic, good original concept of gameplay. Difficulty settings could be a good idea. Also a minor bug, only the in-game back button works, but the built in back button in my Moto g2 doesn't.
I love the concept its nice. Would suggest to fix the bug where going into the menu kind of breaks the game. Add something for different times of day and maybe different weather. Scoreboard. Sound for changing direction. Otherwise it's good as is.
Such a great chill indie game. It actually kinda feels like skiing, despite being so simple. It's not addictive but is good if you just need something to distract you every once in a while
Awesome game! I loved the minimalisticness! The only problem is that it had the most glitches in the world! Title page has another "play" on it and if u pause, and try to but bear, and u go back the whole screen turns white..... Fix pleez!!
The concept is fun and I like the graphical style a lot. The execution could use some polishing, the UI is practically nonexistent and too tiny on my device. Ah well. Cool game!
To keep this short, I would definitely recommend this game. But, it is very bear bones as far as, pretty much everything. And I like it. But, it does need some simple settings and the UI definitely needs to be fixed, as a lot of buttons are broken and don't work. Other than that, I like where it's going. To the devs - Don't stray off this minimalistic path but spice it up a little!
I love this game, its art style is so simple yet calming, its a great challenge and its great for short waiting periods or when your bored, this game calms me down even when I die
Be nice to record top speed, longest distance, bonus point/extra life tokens to collect along the way.
Very fun, simple and addicting game. I personally have no problem with the UI as others mentioned, I think it suits the game well and its a nice change. Only thing keeping me from rating 5 stars is the constant popups urging me to buy a character and leave a review. Ive said no a hundred times already and it keeps asking. Very frustrating and annoying.
Good game, I bought "the bear" for reasons and nothing happened. It's still that racist block of blueberry cream cheese. Moral of the story - the left lane is for passing and don't buy "the bear"
It's OK. Not much to it but that's all right. It's like a modern version of SkiFree (needs more yetis though). The out of control feeling when you don't keep your speed down through trees reminds me of traumatic experiences on real slopes. Also it's kind of stressful, I wouldn't describe it as "soothing", heh. But, I'm not a big fan of two-handed portrait-only games, too uncomfortable to hold the phone that way. Needs a landscape mode, for now it makes it too awkward for me to keep playing.
Best offline game ever I play while in a bus or a car. Idk what other ppl mean by the text thing but it's fine with me. If u don't like the music then play spotify, Google music, or YouTube music on the background it something. Remember it's a minimalist game
Good game, but needs something else, maybe coins to unlock different characters and change the colour or design of the trail that leads behind the character or maybe environmental changes, so there might be an ice lake or a dirt covered patch of land that will effect the speed and movement of the player, there could also be ramps to jump off
Simple, pleasurable, I've got reflexes like road kill so I can't get more than a couple hundred meters down the mountain. But it's great for when I only have a couple minutes to distract myself.
Very good but i found a bug : when at the very beginning of a run you pause and then resume the game you turn really faster it's weird. But it's funny to play like this too
The game play is fun and it looks pretty but the buttons are way too small and fiddly and no leader board or high score tracker makes it a bit of a half job in my opinion.
Tiny buttons and in game sound is a annoying catastrophe
This game concept is really fun. Here's a few ideas to help you guys finish off the game: Please make text larger, please remove black bar on Android devices with on screen buttons and it would be cool if you'd add new levels and barriers to enhance the experience slightly. Good luck in the future and I hope the developers read this for their own good.
Double tapping takes to long for jumping to help you. It would work better and feel better if you swipped up to jump
This game is amazing and perfect for any small or large amount of time you need to waste. It's got absolutely amazing and simple graphics.
Very good but i found a bug : when at the very beginning of a run you pause and then resume the game you turn really faster it's weird. But it's funny to play like this too
Nice, simple game. Not bad for wasting time.
Easy to learn, difficult to master and veeery addictive.
This is what the meaning of life is.
Very fast paced game that is very relaxing
Just great

Like others have mentioned, the text and buttons are tiny. I've also run into a bug a few times where the menu and greyed out background that should go with it are swapped, so I have to play with everything dimmed until I restart the app. I also think the audio could be improved by only having sound when you turn, and maybe a rumbling when the white line approaches. Awesome idea, though! Very relaxing.
