The Factory for Android
I have have two issues. First, if I rotate the screen back and forth too quickly (by accident), the whole game locks up, and quits. I have not lost progress. I've tested it, and going slow enough for the screen to refresh, before rotating back, does not cause a problem. Second, the sellers are evil, and insist on selling gears at a loss....one at a time. Out of the 46 manufactured objects that can be sold, 5 result in a loss. This is not something I should have to worry about.
I had a lot of fun with this game, and played through twice. Highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I've done everything I can do in just under 8 hours. Im now simply watching the money climb trying get the final achievement. I'd love to see the game fleshed out to be longer. One serious complaint, though... I'd like to give four stars, but battery usage is absurd (Galaxy Note 3 & Galaxy Tab 4). Battery power steadily drained on both devices even while charging from A/C and with display dimmed.
It's fun. I like the building toward automation and havinh to balance your throughput/cashflow. I've only been playing a day or so and I'm starting to sense an endgame nearing. If I had any suggestions, might be to either make the tech discovery slower paced or add more tech.. being able to tune the builder and sale tasker's logic / priorities would be cool
Excellent design. Wish I could work with the developer and that employees and operating expenses were involved. Was great until I noticed the machines are allowed to produce either everything or dedicated to one thing. There is no way to stop the machines from producing certain items. Also the machines are all set using the same controls so you cant dedicate tier1 machine to make something different than another tier1 machine. Likewise with sales and purchasing. I only want to produce 1 product not everything.
I love this developer because they have created us a game that is not like any other I have seen. There are no ads, and they are updating it frequently. Amazing job. Keep up the great work. One thing I would like to see is a more refined automation system. I don't like that the seller machine sells all my supplies while I am trying to build tier 1, 2, and 3 objects.
I give it a 4. It is very fun. But I finished it in about a day of continuously playing it. After that there is no new goals to reach or achieve. So, you like addicting games but don't want to be addicted for too long? - this is it!
I loved the game until you have enough money to build anything and all the workers. After, it is just leaving the screen open with the bots building bridges (faster than jets) for a very long time if you want to reach the achievement. The game needs more items and a way to tell bots to build more than one thing. Still enjoyable but could be so much better.
After opening everything what's left to do. app has to open on screen to keep running or nothing happens. automation has no control. what orders do we have to fill. I expected to be asked to make things in a set time to get a reward. open better things with each new advance with new goals to aim for to reach next reward.
Really enjoy the look and feel, the way everything seems to make sense for what is needed (4 jet engines for the jet for example), and the automation. Sent the developer an email with some suggestions, but it boils down to this: I want more control of my builders! I want to tell them exactly what they should build, and nothing more. Like the pin, but with multiple things. Also, offline production would be amazing. Here is hoping this developer can invest and make this a huge success!
I absolutely love this game. Ever since i down loaded it i havent been able to put it down. Very well designed game. There is only one con that i hope can be fixed. When your create a sale order if you close the game the time till the sale is complete does not go down. You have to have the game up for the whole time. Thats kinda of a bummer when you have a 39 min till you sell your items.
I don't get it. After you have all tiers open, all builders, taskers, sales and purchasers and the game is running on full automation, what else is there for you to do? There are no goals or specific tasks for you to perform so this gets boring after while. Also, the game doesn't run in the background so sitting with the game open waiting for an hour for a jet to built is not fun. Good concept, just needs work.
Good for wasting time. Unlocked everything and thought there would be more, but still some good content. Only problems with it is that you can't pin multiple items in one tier for the builders. I wish I could build both boxes and gnomes at the same time. Also, the sales Tasker keeps selling single boxes with other retail items, despite being over $25. It should only sell retail items so I don't have to keep fighting it for boxes.
My issues: Game doesn't run in the background. This is a problem when it takes a half hour for a sale to complete. I shouldn't have to leave my screen on this game the entire half hour. Would be also be nice for automation to run in the background as well. Also for automation, be able to focus on certain items. I clicked the thumbtack thinking that would work, but doesn't. All automation does is make my money disappear buying supplies I don't need. Fixing the run in background issue would earn a star.
I really like this game. It's fun to get all your supplies together and build things. I do have a coulle of suggestions though. It'd be nice if in addition to parts required mode on mfg tab you also had cost/profit info as well. Also a help entry for when/where/how you get automated items would be nice. Otherwise lots of fun!
Great concept. Only wish the game could be more in depth. At this moment, the game became much of a routine after an hour or two of playing. Couple feedbacks, 1) automation does not work as expected while the game is not in the background, 2) automatic AI is not very smart, 3) seller bot does not only sell retail items with more than $25 in bank, and 4) it would be wonderful if more than one item can be pinned within the same tier for the builder. Anyway, it's a really fun game overall. UPDATE: the game is a dead end after couple days of playing. Loved the game, but it is no longer an enjoyment.
1) Needs to run in background... 2) needs more things to manufacture... 3) needs to better explain all the automatic builders jobs (what the taskers do particularly)... 4) needs to be able to prioritize what is actually being auto-built (not just pin it but to actually set how many of said object to build so it can move on and build other parts for higher teir objects)
I really enjoyed this game. It's like the mobile little brother to "Factorio", for pc gamers out there. My only complaint is the lack of replayability. Once you beat it, which you can do pretty quickly, there is little reason to ever play it again. I'd love to see an update that adds some new content.
Great app, fun progression and i like the mix of buying, building and selling. My only complaint is the automation gets out of control. Perhaps put in an item limit? I had 40 sensors and 0 of everything else in the tier. The sales automation would then sell builder components rather than waiting for goods. It required constant effort just to ensure goods were being produced. I turned off sales automation as it just wasnt helpful
Youre close. Ive been saying that we need this for a while. A simulator not only doubles as a testing ground, it can be used to create any sort of media from it. Simulate reality, and you have the perfect testing ground. This means base components.... Tolerances, composition, interactions with other materials.
It's a not-so-idle idle game. It's fun but it doesn't run in the background. Also, the automation robots are only limited to building one item per tier. They also don't tend to go all over the place if you're not assigning them to a job. But it's still fun reguardless.
Started the game a couple days again and love everything about it. Its so much fun having to build each piece as you construct larger things. The only complaint i have so fas is the automation is slow and doesn not work if the games not running.
Great game but missing some key features. One, why can't I exit and have the builders continue building? I don't want to be in the app for 10 minutes to sell something. Two, why can't I select more than one item to build if I have 2 tier one builders? Three, auto purchasing is a waste as it purchases all the stuff you don't need. If I pin an item, that's the only item it should buy. Great concept, hope the dev doesn't stop improving it.
I had a blast figuring out how to play this game. Once you get it, it's virtually on at all time until you reach $100,000 in sales. I'd definitely recommend it, but would love to see it expanded. Having a 'market' change its prices with supply and demand would be a good first step. Blindly selling everything to thin air is the only hole in the game. Sales could be around the world on a map, and starting a new factory closer to larger markets would greatly extend the game, and I would play it all through.
Not bad. You can achieve $1 million in sales in around 54 hours building jets with a fully automated factory. The AI is a little crazy sometimes so you may have to turn off automation until you get a decent cash cushion. I wish I could tell the AI not to make or sell air pumps. Overall, a challenge to get the factory started but after that you do not have to do anything unless you want to. Be careful or you could spend real money on this.
And very addictive but that's the problem. It's so addictive, u play it a lot until u have all 4 tier builders maxxed out and then what? U just stare at the app for that last achievement. Really amazing, but i have lots of suggestions which this limited comment wont allow me to..basically, 1000 stuff to add, builders/taskers rework, more tiers, etc.. 9/10
Love the app. The builders do have some niggles like when you have "pinned" the builders to make a particular item, they make other items that are not needed which are then sold at a loss once you reach 20 of a particular item. An idea would be having a section on the automation and material areas which allows the player to set their own reorder levels for materials and selling levels. Otherwise, excelent hobby app clicker!
I really like this game but I can't help but feel it's not done yet. Maybe a Factory 2 could let you renovate space inside your factory to allow you to swap one tier builder for another. Or maybe add a priority system more complex than a pin. I really do like it but I finished it quickly and I ended up wanting more.
Want a higher rating? Fix these issues: 1) Add a lock out option for various items such as Garden gnome, Speakers, and Toaster, from being produced by automation. This would assist Tier 2 automation and above. 2) Allow for multiple thumb tacks if the above option isn't easy to implement. Then only the objects that the player wants produced, will be produced. 3) I refuse to use the sales automation because there isn't any way to prevent it from selling parts I need for the high tiers. This makes it pointless. 3 stars for being an innovative clicker. Fix the issues above, and you'll receive 5 stars for being awesome.
This game is decent but the automation needs to be fixed.. the builders dosnt focus on one thing.. even if i click the pin.. it builds stuff that is not related to the thing i wanted it to build. The robot the purchases buys 52 of evrything EVEN THE RARE METAL which drains my money...Still dcent game tho
A very well done game, I've enjoyed playing it a lot. I gave 4 star for two reasons. I've hit a plateau really. I'd pay for extended item catalog and other levels. And, it would be nice to have a max purchase button. Oh, and maybe more realistic costs and pricing. This isn't a negative review, just saying what I I think could make it better. Edit: An a bunch of stuff other people said, so more than 2)
I like the game but it could use some updates. Like instead of clicking a billion times you should have the option to build in one step. Also have a hard time using the automation. And maybe shoe profits for each item so you know what's best to use with out adding every single item. I would definitely give it 5 stars.
This game is awsome. I don't usually do ratings, but when I do, the game is like my new favorite. And when I make profits, it makes me feel accomplished. I just finished making 2 of my first drones, 2 road, a tablet computer, and some leftover tier 1 stuff, and I had $589 before, and after selling all of that, im getting $1,388! It feels so good.
The sellers dont work properly, they will sell everything no matter how much money you have. The game gets old once you unlock all the items and get TONS of money, even with the broken sellers i can just un pin the builders and they just keep building items and you make profit just sitting there. Also the app needs to be open for the time to sell items goes down, so if it says you have 20 minutes to sell something you literally have to sit there for the entire 20 minutes with the app open.
Really good fun game. Took me about 3 days of an hour or so per day gametime to get an autonomous factory. Very addictive and engrossing. Very well programmed in that the automatic machines make quite "good" decisions what to build. Also very lightweight in terms of footprint. It loads instantly when clicked, and doesn't wear the battery down too much either (took down 10% in a 2 hour train journey). Played on a 2.5 year old Sony Xperia ultra.
A fun and creative new take on a building game. It's easy to learn, but takes thought and strategy to master. I like that the game is paused when you are not playing (unlike other building games like Farmville and Clash of Clans). My only complaint is that the sales tasker keeps selling my parts (like metal wheels) even thought I have plenty of money and according to the instructions I believe it isn't supposed to do that. Still, definitely a 5 star game!
Ive seen this game, and assumed id have ti purchase things to win it. There arent much ads, and the game is free and absolutely amazing. Its simple but addictive as all get out. Really worth a play especially if you like resource managment.
As a pawnbroker, I found this way too easy. Maybe needs some random events added: builder malfunction, Unit needs replaced. Or. Due to lack of quality control, faulty product was made, lawsuit of x-amount... 1st mil in first try, less than 30 hrs in game time. And 7 measly achievements is laughable. All in all. This game has potential, just too simple with this early version. I'll try back later.
This game is kind of cool when you first look at it know how they expect you to deal with this game they're going to build something and the thingamajigger whatever you feel that you sell it but not knowing that just a few seconds later really really need to add some way to buy pre-assembled parts that will make this game so much better so much because then you're not going to running back and forth between the store just to get a couple and then have to tell me you built up that you need later on he sell it soon as you build this one other thing thank you boom you need that you sold the things that you've built never did so many resources resources into the Drone and Oculus Rift it is so difficult just to get those couple of things build or stuff that you can't even take too long to build don't download
Sales automation sells circuits and boxes. Why would it sell components you need for retail products? It should only sell retail products. Also sales timer only goes down when the app is open. Who wants to have an app open for 30+ min just to sell something?

I really like this game a lot but it does have a few things that bother me. For starters the sales count down timers only run while app is running. Surely it'd be better to still countdown when app is closed. My other gripe is the automated equipment. Great idea but either the AI needs improving or simply add a way that player can set goals for machines manually. The pin idea needs work imo. Otherwise an awesome game I do like it a lot!
