Love it

Very good word game. Has a large dictionary, so it does recognize unusual words. I like the different skins you can choose from, although I only find a couple to be very readable when trying to find words quickly. My one gripe is that I can't figure out how to enter text for my initials when I get a high score. No keyboard comes up and tapping on the letters doesn't do anything, so all my initials are "AAA".

Dropwords could be an awesome game. It's really only missing a couple of things. 1) It's dictionary is missing words. It doesn't make sense because online dictionaries abound. 2) It doesn't have a score board. You only find out your score IF you manage to land among the top scorers. 3) Inconsistent word rules. Sometimes you can use proper nouns and foreign words and other times you cannot for no apparent reason. If these 3 things were fixed Dropwords would be a great word game. As it is, it's just ok.

I found the graphics distracting. Being stylish is great, but word games have to prioritize legibility. Rather than "reinventing the wheel", this developer would benefit from studying some of the many well-designed word games already out there.

I love the game, I had it on my previous tablet, but the past 2 weeks it's developed an annoying glitch: the countdown ticker continuing after I exit the game or pause the game! It only stops when I clear the app. Once you fix the problem, I'll rate it higher.

Addicting and enjoyable. I only wish it would allow longer words than 8 letters. It,'s crushing to find one, spell it out, only to have it disallowed! C'mon, even the name "Dropwords" has 9 letters!

Love this game. Similar to doing a word find but more fast paced if you want it to be. Like that you can mix up the letters, use swear words, and do 2 letter words!

Perfect game! Addicting. Exactly what I wanted: the ability to be untimed forever if I want it. I had thought the game could not be saved and picked up later, but have discovered how to do it. 8 stars!!

Used to work very well on my older Samsung tablet. Just upgraded to a newer Samsung and the pause button has disappeared! No use now

The game is challenging and relaxing at the same time- a great time consumer when you have nothing to do. I've noticed though that some words are missing- which can be VERY frustrating when you finally get a good word together and then it doesn't work- for example, vinegar and hazardous are unknown words.

Love the game, but can you do something about the adds popping up in the middle of my game. It's very bothersome and I don't want to uninstall the game.????????????

Sometimes I feel like this game isn't just the English language. It takes weird combinations of letters yet other real words aren't accepted.

Love this Game! Switched tablets a while back and forgot about this Game! I am SO GLAD that I found it! That means that now, I'll never get Anything done!! Thanks!

While this entertaining to play, the hodge podge library is lacking many words which nixes a fair challenge far too often. Put some work into a better library and this game will get a superior rating.

When you hijack my phone with a video ad that MUST be viewed before I can move forward, I get a little pissy. I've played this game for years and loved it, but now I'm forced to watch ads without option. Offering the Pro Version in app would help avoid the frustration.

Unfortunately, with the most recent update [17 December 2017], the "Game Save/Resume" feature [involving pressing the Menu button], is not available on my HUAWEI MATE 9. The message is as follows: "The app does not support the split-screen mode." So, there's essentially no menu. Please assist, urgently.

12/24 RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER - I saw your response acknowledging the lag, so I reinstalled to see if you fixed it. Nope:( The letters drop with a weird lag and the delay when swiping letters still makes the game unplayable for me:/ (NEXUS 6P/OREO OS 8.0) UPDATED- Slow & glitchy. This used to be one of my favorite games. Very disappointed and now uninstalling. Not working with Android Oreo OS:/

Adverts have increased dramatically. And now include animated ads with music. Last one would not let me edit the ad. No. Just no. The ruination of a great game.

Latest updates make it crash! Won't run more than a couple of minutes. Resume from autosave is gone. Will wait for fixes before trying again. Used to be my favorite game.

I had nearly 3,000,000 points and suddenly they're all gone! So is the load, undo, and save controls, etc. Now it sucks, Big-time

One of the few games I can beat my husband at. Great time killer that keeps my brain busy during down time.

It was great on my Moto Droid. On my pixel XL it is very slow. Why is that,?

Use to be good until it went add Crazy. I wouldn't say that 15 sec adds are minimal. Way to long.

I used to love this game, but after the latest update, the ability to save/resume an existing game, is gone! ????

I do like the game a lot. Very bummed that I lost over400,000 points a little bit ago by not remembering to hit resume. I'd hit the arrow to play like I usually do to play my game, it was the wrong arrow. It ended up being the arrow for new game. Also it wont allow me any words containing more than eight letters.

I want to like this game, but it has really bad performance. As in, on two different high-end phones with powerful CPUs and lots of memory, it looks like a PowerPoint slideshow with single-digit FPS, while draining the battery and hogging the CPU. Edit: I'd happily try the sequel out, if it was available in the market for my phones. Too bad it's not available for either.

Recently changed tablets and the game screen isn't compatible with my Galaxy S2 8 inch screen. I've lost the pause button from the top of the screen. (Lost the entire top half inch of the display, mute button, header and pause). Might go looking for a different version of this game.

It's a good game, but the performance is dire! Even on a fast phone, the animation lags, sound lags, and sometimes the sound gets "stuck" leaving the clock ticking forever, even after you exit the game! Clearly it's still running in the background, stuck!

Problems i had with this app previously were due to my crummy phone. Runs great on my new devices. Fun game with the ability to adjust the level of challenge. Minimal ads, very enjoyable. 5 stars

I too recently went to a new tablet and now have lost my pause button. Love the game but this needs to be fixed.

So far, no annoying ads. Can mute volume. Mostly two and three letter words and every now and then a four or five letter word. The real challenge here is finding words, most the time I think I've found a word but the letters aren't close enough to connect it.

I like these games,educational and have fun to think how many words i made,no plenty ads i love it,,im home 2:30 am and only these time i fall asleep its 6:46 am already oh my,im addicting of these game???

The game stalls not allowing words,but the timer keeps counting down. Not worth the effort.

Great game. Love that I don't need to be connected to the internet in order to play and that there's no ads.
