Very good storyline, especially for a sequel to part one. The illustration work is very good also. Wish we didn't have to wait so long for the next installment to be released. Reminds me a bit of the old days when Zork was the hottest game for computers. Would be nice if there was varying levels of difficulty for the minigames that users could select. I still find the hacking minigames quite tough. Loved the persuasion minigame.

First I'd just like to say this game was great enough to merit my first ever review. Just over a year ago I discovered CYOA games as a whole and have been unable to play anything else since. The first book of this series was one of my original favorites and I have been trying to find another that meshes the story and gameplay so seamlessly with no luck. This second installment is just as good and leaves me paradoxically feeling both fulfilled and wanting for more. I applaud and thank you for this grand tale

The story is very engrossing and I love the mini-games. One annoyance I've encountered is an apparent bug where decryption charges disappear when you reload. I don't always use mine at once so I was a bit perturbed when I went back to decrypt the journal some more and my charges were gone. Other than that, no issues have been encountered!

POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW. Great game. Will be paying for the third. Can't wait! Love the choose your own adventure style. Saving the game at various points to enable multiple choices. Two questions, will there be an achievement list? I am looking to get 'Fly Many Flags' (the only one I haven't got) and can't work out how. Also, do you ever get to summon the robot after acquiring the controls? EDIT: Thanks! Working on that now. Good luck with game 3!

I love this book! Both the story and the games are interesting and intriguing. I especially love that Morgan is written to be gender neutral. I often feel left out of other adventure book apps because they're obviously written by and for men. I also like that the choices being made test both intelligence and moral fortitude. This is the best and most multidementional CYOA story available! Thank you so much!

I love this game! Ready to start the next. I wanted to add a suggestion for a minor frustration. Most games that autosave do so in a separate file, not on top of the one you load. I sometimes reload a game to change my choice (I like seeing all the outcomes) and if I don't immediately re-save on a new file then I lose the ability to go back to that same choice.

Thank you very much! I feel excited now because I finally can read book two of this story! After a long long long time waiting. And I will blurt out my confession : "Dear author, I've come to playstore every day to check on your book two."

I'm really enjoying this game/story overall. I did hit a snag though. I'm not able to access my PDA anymore. I think it happened sometime in chapter 6. I thought maybe it was because my mental health got too low. But I'm in chapter 7 now & I'm wondering if it might be a glitch. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks again for a great game!

The game is amazing. I loved all the mini games specially the idea of persuading people to make them do things your way. There are some problem with fixing the screen orientation to lanscape. But that hardly matters once you are in the game. Can't wait for the 3rd part.

Five stars all the way. I'm so glad I came across this, I'm a fan of such games— visual novels or whatever you call it. I love the storyline, the choices, the graphics & the music. I want the third part now

4.8 avg! That's awesome! 10, 000 downloads and 454 reviews. And its been out since at least nov 2016 (thats when the last update was as of this account). What is WRONG with people?! Are they allergic to reading?? Don't they know reading a good story can transport your mind to other worlds? Providing one has the uh, processing power necessary to build and maintain such "worlds". This game should have at LEAST a half million downloads, and 5-10million within 2 years.

For a choose you own path story, it lacks the story ending failures real choose you own path books have. While your choices matter some what, in the end there is really only one path and you'll follow it no matter what choices you make. An interesting story line, for a published book to read, but not a good choose your own path story. Needs revision with dead end choices added, a lot of them, in every chapter, and several different success endings to the story.

Love this game. Bug report : while battling if you press back to open the menu and resume again it sometimes crashes. Also, if you're working on another game i can help you with the drawing for free. Keep it up!

When gaming, I like to splatter brains with shotguns or conquer the world or blow things up in space. But I also love games based on a great story, where you feel immersed like you are when reading a book. This is one of those games. The only criticism so far is that the characters almost always speak as middle class adults.

The first installment of this game was good too but part two really improved on the concept. I like that it seems to have more variations on the outcome of the story depending on your choices and the minigames you win and lose, and even if you keep your mind or body levels stronger. Cant wait for part 3!

Thanks for another great chapter! I'm a bit irked that none of my progress from the previous game carried over, but the new mini games and overhauled mechanics more than made up for it. Looking forward to the 3rd Chapter and I do hope that even after the devs finish this, they'll make more games like it. More power to you guys!

The first book was great, but the choices were too straight forward. This book does not make the same mistake. The reader must actually think about what choice he wants to make. However, there are some very annoying format glitches that were not present in the first app, and there is still no night mode. Despite the flaws, this is still a great app.

Argh, I'm late to the party. Only just realized that this sequel was already out. If only there's an email subscription service or something that would let us know when there's a new release. That way, people will stay updated. Anyway, onto the app itself. I think a lot of things have improved when it comes to the storytelling, the storyline itself, and the mini games as compared to those of the first one. A part of me wished we can have more lasting interactions and relationships with other characters though. I also agree with Cyberwizard Productions and Jason K's reviews. By the way, I'm really glad about the changes you've made in terms of the save/bookmark system. It's nice to know how receptive you guys are to all sorts of feedback, good or bad, and that you really take the time to listen and respond accordingly.

Liked the story, the mini-games… everything. Although, I admit I kinda cheated on mini-games by pausing the mini-game and finding solution to it (especially the hacking ones) haha. Anyway, I also liked the fact that you, devs, actually respond to most of the reviews. And… I kinda felt bad that I played Book one and two for free. The awesomeness of the series is just… wow. Will pay for book three!

Another great piece of a good story. I really enjoyed part two. The writing of the actual story was good, but what really grabbed me was all the extra stuff that could be found. My favorite is a string of letters that shows a man's transformation from infiltrator of a secretive group to loyal follower. I have only one major concern; the line in the extras that says the third part will be combat focused. DON'T DO IT! Combat is ok but it is the weakest part of the game! You're a talented writer. Focus on that! The best part of the game is finding secret things, especially when they rely on having certain equipment that you could have found earlier. Choices to give branching paths. The combat system is serviceable but not as fun as hacking, scavenging, or the new persuasion game. The decoding was the most fun because I felt like I was discovering secrets, a big draw for me in games.

Was not my thing. I want puzzles. If I want to read a book I will download one from Google play books. This is not a game, or a book. It was a fail for me.

I honestly haven't played this yet, but I already know I'm going to love it! The first one stole my heart and I'm so upset I didn't notice the release of this app! I highly recommend this!

Another 5 star rating and well deserved. The story was nicely linked in the beginning to the part 1, and also quickly drove us to our new adventure. Well written and well executed. Having played the first 2 parts for free, I will definitely purchase the third one whenever it comes out since you guys deserve some benjamins for this great series.

Dude you rock at writing such immersive stories. Characters with stature in your plot and our journey that captivate us. I loved part 1 and part 2 was equally as brilliant, if not better :D

I'm a huge fan of the Eighth Continent series, and even made it a part of my morning ritual to check if the second book was out. The gameplay and story line are still absolutely amazing. I'm curious though, does this have anything to do with Mu or Lemuria?

I absolutely loved this story and went through the first two stories in one day, now I'm sitting here wondering when number 3 is coming out, realising it probably never is and that makes me sad. Please say it is. I'm enthralled.

A well written and engaging story. The background and pictures add to the atmosphere. Fun mini games, too, though a little more variety would be good-too many scavenge games.

I downloaded the first game out of curiosity and I loved it and finished the whole thing super quick. I've been waiting for second part and it was worth the wait. So good! Love the new persuasive games. Really good. Almost finished with this one...anymore to come? UPDATE: Where is the 3rd installment? Waiting. Love this game.

I've been playing cyoa books while waiting for this second book, and none measure up to this. I love the story, games, choices, and visuals. How it snows on the screen is very cool, adds to the game atmosphere. Eagerly awaiting part 3!

Looooved it! Intriguing and captivating. I'm so glad you kept the original mini games and happier still with the new ones. The decisions to be made felt more weightier for how Morgan's saga would end. I played it over just to see how different choices would change the finale. Can't wait to read the final instalment! Great job guys!
