About Dropwords 2
Note: Dropwords 2 is a rewrite of my old Dropwords game. It includes the same play style and mode modes, but has some technical improvements, including running more smoothly on modern devices, using much less battery power, and more graceful handling of different screen sizes!
Dropwords 2 is word-finding puzzle that combines some elements of Scrabble and Boggle. Valid words boost your score and the dwindling timer; used letters disappear and new ones drop from above.
The game includes six game modes: Normal, Hard, Lightning, Blocker, Relax and Untimed. Whether you just want to relax, or are looking for something challenging, there's a game mode that will suit you.
The game offers three dictionaries:
1. Scrabble: contains all the 2-to-8-letter words from the SOWPODS list of Scrabble competition words. This amounts to 114575 words, including both US and UK spellings. Because this is a Scrabble dictionary, proper nouns like "June" or "Rome" are not included. Plurals are included.
2. Webster's: based on the Webster's New International Dictionary, 2nd Edition, this contains 120127 2-to-9-letter words. Includes some proper nouns, but not plurals or Scrabble-specific words (such as my own favourite, "QI"!).
3. Both! The combination of the Scrabble and Webster's dictionaries; this is the dictionary used by default.
You can switch dictionary via the game's Options dialog.

Played dropwords all the time on my phone. It was great, but it often overheated my phone. So, installed version II, after reading reviews and seeing improvements have been made. Well, it's rare I get through a game without a freeze and the game has now crashed my phone 3 times. Unfortunately, like a dope, I bought the game before trying the free version. Don't be like me. Try it first.

Lots of fun. My only request would be that the developer get it working with the Note 4 stylus... EDIT: Thanks for looking into the issue Ben. You've made a really great game here. Hopefully the stylus issue might be solved some day.

The larger board size is a welcome addition over the original Dropwords, and it runs as smooth as ever. I would like to maybe see a coloured point indicator when you make a word in the Casino theme, because the white number is hard to see against the letter tiles. Maybe make it flash like a neon casino sign...? A small detail though, I do love this game! Love it love it!

A good game for when you need a focused activity for short duration or you just feel like exercising your mind.

This is one of the best 'Word Creator' titles, available. After, playing this game's demo. (approx. 3 months time), i've always played the demo, at least one round, 3 times/day. This title, not only keeps players thinking but word recognition from memory, is what truly keeps those, intrigue...that and instantly, pure addiction! Great title (summarized)!
