Plates Free Family Travel Game

What would make this really cool (because it is mentioned it's a family game) is if it was possible to link the game (privately) to the other members' phones by invitation with the checklist keeping track of who spotted which plate.

Lists all states territories and provinces for USA, Canada and Mexico. It also has great options for how to view, all, missing etc. Even claps for you when you get a new plate.

Love that it doesn't have unnecessary permissions (access to my phone) too.

And since you have added specialty plates don't forget purple heart!

This hame is fun for all ages, old and young. Me and my father enjoy playing this game. Good family activity

I was looking for a simple app that would store the plates and this is so much cooler. This app is clearly thought out and well developed and has every feature id want plus some i didnt know i wanted but loved. Only problem i had was the scrolling on the side to get to the alphabet seemed really sensitive at times but it could of been user error. I will be keeping this app on my phone

I did a quick search as we started our trip and we used it the rest of the time. The clapping noise was a fun addition.Great stuff and didnt require any permissions which i appreciated. Thanks!

I'v tryed a lot of other licenses plate games but this is the best one. we love to travel I have 31 right now but with another trip coming I will hopefully be able to finish it

We usually play a cooperative game on trips but this time we are playing competitively. App does exactly what I want. One of my children downloaded another license plate app that includes capitals and state facts so we practiced capitals with her version which we enjoyed but I didn't feel the need to go find that one since this was really all I needed.

One request: the "game started" date on lower left always shows the current date even when returning to a game started many days prior. Can this be changed to reflect the actual date started or reset? Loads of fun and my husband and I always have a running collection going.

Two teens, two adults, and 1600+ miles of road. I offered $20 to anyone that could find a plate that was not from North America. It kept them invested in the game.

Easy to use and applause for each find is quite rewarding. Suggestion: Would love a special sound/ovation for finding all 50 states.

For a free app it's really very good. It'd be nice if I could use the radio buttons to turn on just the US and Canada in the view and the "1 of..." is a little too big, but that's about the only things I'd change. May have to actually buy this one.

Just what we needed. Solved our problem of always losing our paper checklist.

Gave me something to do on an 8 hr trip to Connecticut!!! What else would be fun is to add the different types of license plates for each state. Like for example.... We saw 3 different ones for PA! Or does the paid version have that?

We love this app! It makes it so easy to keep track of the plates we have found while cruising the US on vacation! We also began a new game to see if we could spot all 50 in just our home state. The kids especially like the round of applause they receive when they find a new tag!!

My family plays the license plate game and we have tried everything to be able to keep score on the game, but nothing worked. I love this app, it's extremely useful and easy to use. I do have 1 comment tho, there is no ca exempt plate to cross off. I don't really care though the app is still awesome!

We love to play the license plate game and had a card that we would have to use an eraser and whiteboard marker for but it got lost. This is even better because we always have it with us. I love this app!

This app was easy for my kids to use and great for our trip. We love the little applause when you get a state. It really added to the fun of an otherwise long and tedious 12 hour ride.

My husband and I went on a two week vacation traveling more than 3,000 miles. We had a lot of fun trying to find all 50 states license plates. We have about 100 miles left before home and have 6 left to find. Maybe next year. Thanks for this app.

My friend and I used this app on a long road trip. Lots of fun, but the Nebraska plate is outdated.

My husband and I have a 2 hour commute to work in the Maryland / DC Metro area. We play this from Sunday thru Saturday each week, trying to better each week's score. Please add the Diplomat plate to the bonus section. Thank you!

My mom taught my sister and myself this game 50+ years ago! I have played it ever since. It's a great way to pass travel time. It's great to now have an app to remember them instead of making a list. I also like that you included Canada and Mexico. / April 2016 update: Still love this game! Have had it for about 3 years. I play whenever I am on a longer drive/ride! I see there are now a lot of imitators coming on board but you guys have always rocked this!

Does the trick. No real complaints. Just the ads, but I can deal with that.

Kind of a bummer that it doesn't include other government plates but so far this has been a great little tool to keep the license plate game going
