Touch Pianist - Tap in Rhythm for Android
I used to love this app to death. I was able to pay for the extra songs at the time and enjoyed it until now. After a while the songs would get grated out by static until you restarted the whole app and now the app just crashes when you try to open it. Seems like the developer hasn't done anything on it since then. Another grab the money and run app. Avoid.
I don't know what the developer was thinking when he decided that $12 was a fair price to ask for something more than a bare-bones selection of songs, but I'm not paying-- especially when there are so many on the web version. The idea is nice, and while the notes sound weird when you play staccato, it's not too hard to do it all legato. Besides the lack of lag that I seem to get from time to time on desktop, this version is vastly inferior.
This unique app is the best way for someone like me, with zero piano experience, to experience the creative and expressive thrill of playing these many classical music works. It's brilliant in conception, and very nice in its execution. It's not 100% glitch free on all platforms, but there's so much genuine musical pleasure here, you can overlook it.
Web version is great minus the few songs that are mobile exclusive. However considering the price and the poor quality of the mobile version, I guess I'm stuck with the browser version.
I downloaded this app after repeatedly having sound issues on the PC version. I was having a blast with this game but could never finish a song despite optimizing. At least I can get through a song on this but so many are locked behind payments. The notes are also very rough and songs end extremely abruptly. Shame... this game would have been soooooo incredibly awesome if I could play it.
This app takes up a massive amount of memory, is completely unresponsive, throws up ads every five seconds, and only lets you play one song for free.
Can't even start it. Crashes after trying to load on S7 Edge Nougat
Never got to open it. Kept crashing. Don't waste your time on it
I loved this app before I changed phones. Doesn't work with Google pixel XL. Plus I love Debussy and the micro transactions are a disgrace to it's original help from Reddit. Thanks for nothing I guess.
Beautiful visuals, awesome concept, but asking 12$ for a game like this, to unlock every thing is outrageous. I love supporting my developers, but this is to much for what it is. Good game, not worth the $
App has not opened on last two phones. Just crashes. Every time. Waste of space and money.
App force closes on startup. Android 7. Developer seems to have abandoned. Avoid the app
I wouldn't know since it crashes every time I try to open it.
Sorry man I love the Web version but the app is really bad..
I can only do one song it's annoying
I've been playing this game on browser for awhile. It's super fun. Got the app once I had a phone that supported it, and bought all the songs right away. This app is terrible. Pressing on the lower screen is not loud at all, essentially making 3/4 of the screen useless. No held notes. Sounds tinny. Zero adjustable options. A real gem wrapped in garbage. What a shame.
$12 is far too much for this mediocrity. It doesn't play well at all. The timing is off and the rhythm is practically guesswork! I would like my money back.
While this app does have some songs unavailable to the web version, they're locked behind paywalls along with most songs, including ones that are free in the web version. The advertisements are so grating that they completely destroy the mood every time you finish a song. The app works fine while in playing mode, but the menus use up an ungodly amount of RAM, to the point where it's almost unusable.
Please make everything free in free version. I hate to watch them. Let us update today. It would also be nice if we could compose too.
I have to hold one finger on the screen and play with the other to get the notes to "stick". You can control the tempo which makes it feel a lot more like actually playing an instrument compared to "tap on the rhythm" games. I love the simplicity of the app, it does one thing, and there's no bs points, score or whatever. If you like to play instruments and have the patience to learn the songs or have songs you already know in the app I recommend this app

Awful audio quality. Not even close to worth $12 for the songs
You have to pay for everything which makes no sense since you can play all the songs on chrome for free
Doesn't work well, it skips some notes which makes the music sound choppy. Annoying ads all the time. You can barely do anything without paying. Not worth it.
Appis good. But in app purchases is bad imo
Also you have to pay for literally everything, on top of getting shoved with a mountain of ads. Uninstalled.
Paywall limited tracks, horrible experience
It used to be fun to play with once in a while, but it's been broken for a while and it hasn't been fixed.
Most songs that are on desktop aren't on the app
I like it sooooo much
This game is so cool. I even play it on PC. I recommend this game. :)
Lacks Mozart and Vivaldi though.
Hours of classical enjoyment!
Brilliant Idea. Truly Creative.
Cool!
Seems at first lime it will be a freemium title;instead, the only thing at all that is free is the tutorial. I like supporting game makers but would like the option to do sip via ads vs purchase--don't have much to spend.
Bugged and really poorly done. The website is actually good instead. I hope this app will be fixed.
This needs so much work to make it a good app. Developer are you reading these comments or just taking the money and running? The interface is laggy, the music doesn't match your tap or the graphics and the piano sample is awful compared to the web site.
I've played this on the website and it works great. However the app leaves much to be desired. The sound lacks enough range causing the highs and lows to be full of static. Also the app seems to cause my phone (sony Xperia z3) to get very hot. I'd rather pay for the music on the website than on this app.
