Bejeweled Classic

I really do enjoy this game. My lower ratings come from the change made regarding extra time. Now, even if you view the ad, you don't get additional time. Having the extra time was great for increasing your score. Now, after watching the ad, it says times up just as if the ad was never viewed. There is zero reason to watch ads now because they give you nothing. As of 8-27-17, the extra time glitch has been corrected. This is one of my favorite games.

I am happy to have Bejewelled back and better than before playing on my Galaxy Note 5. However watch our you might not be receiving your accumulated game scores unless you complain about it. (UPDATE FOR NOTE 8, Very dramatic on the super large screen. But, the price IS INCREASED PHONE WEIGHT! ) Ena Randall

10/10 IGN. Feel in love with the game, playing without no shame. BUT ONLY ONE PROBLEM... I'm okay with ads. But I'm not okay with hearing the ad's audio durning a game in the background taking my full experience away. Please fix. So I can give you guys 5 star rating again <3

Best 3-match puzzle game available. I've loved this game since I first saw it on Windows way back in the Vista/Windows 7 days when I think it was part of the Games Marketplace or something like that. I'm glad EA made it free for mobile rather than succumbing to offering a paid subscription like they used to do.

Hated it! To many friggin ADS!!!!!!!!!!! even in the middle of the game the frigging ADS suddenly popping out which can be super annoying. The game is really good if u can just limit the the ADS just a little bit. Like put the ADS after each round. Or after you run out of time so that it wouldn't be that much annoying. Or just put a price on the game and completely remove the annoying ads. And this game has a malware or a virus because even if you already Uninstaller the game the ads will still randomly pops on your gadget!!!

My favorite

The poker part of this game is one of my favorites. It would be nice though if the score actually stayed on the screen. It does for a bit and then it goes away. Also...the board on the butterflies game is messed up. The top is stretched out and the bottom of the board runs over the buttons making it difficult to match on the bottom row.

What can I say? It's Bejeweled! Fun as usual. Arguably one of the best 3-match games on the market. Wanna kill time? Play Bejeweled. Wanna restore those lost synapses that get wasted by checking Facebook every 30 seconds?Play Bejeweled!

I really do love bejeweled classic. I have been playing it for a long time. But this latest update I'm not happy with the change to horizontal instead of vertical. I really wish they changed it. Or at the very least add an option to pick our preference. I would give a better review if that changes.

I used to love this game. It was super fun on a touch screen. Now all I get are multiple full page ads which crash the app. I can't start a game anymore. What a huge dissapointment. Way to go from great to hate buy sucumbing to super annoying, irrelevant and time-wasting ads. I uninstalled the stupid thing.

Please bring back portrait mode. It's more awkward to play in landscape, especially with how tiny everything is on a phone screen. Plus, the screenshots here on the store are misleading now. C'mon, Popcap. This was one of my favorite spare-time apps, and it still would be if you'd just bring back portrait mode!

I've been loving this game until you guys started playing ads mid game play!! Not cool! The ads play at random times and stop me in the middle of the game. Rather than the normal, end of game ad option. If the ads are stopping game play then what's even the point of this app??

I enjoy this game. It's my go to relax game. But the ads that keep playing while I'm in the Zen level is a bit more than annoying. It's not just one here after a level ends, it literally back to back video ads at the top that I can't see when they play bc they disappear and they don't end until it plays through. Very annoying.

Very good game...extremely addictive, so it's hard to put it down/away! However, just the right amount of rush to be relaxing at the same time!Also, excellent graphics-the colors, and effects almost seem to jump off the screen at you! All in all, it makes for one heckuva exciting gaming experience!! I highly recommend it!And I still do-it-yourself because it's an AWESOME game!! Try it, and you'll see!

This is the second update that completely messes up the game. Previous versions forced landscape mode and this one fixed that but the jewels do not line up and glitch out. Emailed EA and wasn't solved or taken care of too well. Come on EA, we know you're better than that!! 31/08/2017 edit: new update and once again landscape is forced. Last update it was sort fixed, but that didn't last long.

I love the Classic bejewelled better than any of the other Bejewelled games. lost the app a few Times during problems with my cell phone or when I have purchased other cell phones. Just got it back. I am so happy because I play this in my spare time all the time. Not only that I find it fun and challenging.

Addictive. But frustrating because in "Classic" mode (only version I've played so far) it doesn't show how many moves you have used or have left so you don't know if you're almost out of moves or not....

I love this game. It's my all time favorite. The music is ugh. Glad can turn it off. Would be nice to have info to tell you what certain flaming jewels do & how you reach a level up. Cause they just happen & I'm like not yet, darn!

As with all other games on phones the adds totally ruined it. Why can't game making companys just make games and not things designed to look like a game but really just make as much money as possible.

I've had this game for a long time. I understand this is an ad supported game, but now they've even added banner ads at the top. It reduces play area and lags the game. It's just not fun anymore. Which is too bad, because without that, this game would be even more awesome with the added ice play game option.

This was 5 stars until the last update. The game is now landscape and that has completely ruined it. Looks rubbish, because of this and the game is much more awkward to play. Make is portrait, and it's great again.

It's been a while since I played, but I'm glad they actually took out the adds people paid to have removed(main reason I wasn't playing after paying for no adds). Other then that the game is very fun and they have new games (I like the Ice Storm one). Only thing missing is having friends on your high score list so we could see how good we really are.

Hope you like ads. The game can't even wait for the voice saying "welcome back" to finish before throwing one in your face. And every time the go to the main menu you get one. Then another when you pick a mode. So when you switch to a different mode you're presented with two ads. Oddly lightning mode is limited plays per 24 hours. Odd since its basically just blitz which is a free standalone game. That said its good old bejeweled. Minimal but attractive visuals and the classic calming, trance like music missing from more recent entries in the series. Edit: lower rating for sneaky advertising change. you can extend a game by watching a 30 second ad, however you can close the ad after the usual 5 seconds. Thing is if you close it before watching at least 30 seconds its game over. There's no way of knowing how long you've watched so you just have to wait till the ad ends. Sneaky enough, but now when the ad ends it just loops infinitely (presumably.) Underhanded bs.

I like playing this game, but it cheats at times. I've scored some pretty high scores many times, but it will cheat. It becomes harder to break the bricks on diamond mine, causing the time to run out quicker. Too many ads to watch for a small amount of additional seconds playing time. Even after watching ads, your previous score will erase at times before moving on to score more points. I might as well had said no to the ads if I wanted to lose my score. All that work for nothing. As of 9-17-2017, the Butterfly game is much harder. After using up five chances, one has to wait 24 hours to play again. Not that I want it too easy, but not as much fun anymore.

VERY addictive! And even though there are ads, they're not appearing between every level like a lot of games. Only on start-up or at the end of a game. Plus there's the option of watching an ad to earn things like 'Board Shuffles'.

I've been playing this on PlayStation for a while now and I can play all the time. I love the different options of games to play. I like this game because it's challenging at times and you don't have limited lives to complete a level.

This app got changed to landscape mode and does not work the same as it use to. There is no way to get it in portrait mode and the jewels are off the screen or mis-aligned. I paid for this app but will no longer use it until the problem is fixed

The screen doesn't fit properly.. I can't enjoy the game like I used to because a third of the board I'm not able to move anything on. For me to pay extra money for the butterfly game I expect to be able to play it...

I have only played zen and classic but I found them to be the two best games I've played yet. I'm a newbie with Tec stuff as I have been ill for a time and it left me behind. Your games gives me some confidence. TKS!

Landscape mode has RUINED this game for me. Why did you change it???? I used to rate this game 5 stars.... now I only give one star as a lot has changed for the worst.

Only thing I don't like is that it is difficult to"go back"if you accidentally clicked on the wrong game mode. Else, it is an absolute classic, the online version got me through many nights in college. Love this game!

It needs butterflies mode and poker (more gamemodes). And why do you have to pay for lightning mode? This is my favourite game mode so please make it free in a future update please. You will only get your star back if you make lightning mode free but at the moment my rating has gone down from 4 stars to 3 stars. Also thanks for adding Ice Storm. Thats why I rated it four stars now instead of 3. I do have one problem though, can u make the lightning mode music the same as the lightning mode music in bejeweled 3? This change will be appreciated and I will rate 5 stars when this is done.

I really like this game, however, I do experience it minimizing at times while I'm playing, and just today it stopped working. It froze up. I was tolerating it for a bit, but this is just getting out of hand.

I used this game for years. But after the update it's only landscape mode the buttons don't work properly. Like one space down. Fix the problem please. Or i have to unistall and look for another one...

I think I would love to to buy the full game for 5€ as I did with the pc version. The pricing to get this game to full on the phone is simply ridiculous. I can buy a AAA game for this money so I consider it a joke. The gameplay and the game itself is solid like on the pc, however I can not endorse a scam like this (imo this price is equal to scamming peoole). For above reasoning I wont spent a cent on this game and give this review.

I think that, if You are the "original creators" You lost the initiative for Creativity. The play has slowed, lost its dynamics of speed, and you have failed to keep me coming back. Go Back to the ORIGINAL!!!

The ice moves TOO FAST. There are lots of matches in Zen...but almost *none* in the challenge games. The butterflies are a cool idea, and has enough matches available to keep going for awhile. The ice game just makes me mad.

Love this. My only con is that sometimes the game will load in irregular resolutions and gives an error saying the phone doesn't support those resolutions. The only fix I've found is to reinstall the game, however by doing so, I lose all my progress.

Forgot to mention this, when I choose mute all sounds, I mean ALL sounds and that means ads too. I will watch your ads because this is how you generate revenue to provide a free game to me but honor the deal when the option you provide offers mute !!!!!!! The fact that several modes are on timers to clear stages and your app does not reset clock at tbe moment the jewels are cleared but drag on to have every combination jewels counted to force a game over to promote ad is really bad and the reason for my uninstalling of your app.

The game plays alright, but there is no way to exit the game without a physical home button. It is very annoying to have to restart your phone just to quit playing a game. The EA website ONLY has support for Apple devices. No Android anything, anywhere.
