Seriously what do you "fix" it still crashes after each rediculously long ad! Please either give us a way to pay (a sensible amount) to get rid of the ads or at least get rid of the video ads, we have data plans! Plus on occasions program can be very battery hungry, I expect due to the ads. And finally it also doesn't handle if neither player can go (might have solved that one, you don't give us useful information like that)

Well, it's Scrabble. Emulates the board game well enough and allows you to converse with your opponent. Only real issue is the fact that you often have to sit through thirty seconds of advertisements after each turn. This might be acceptable in a free app but not one I've paid for.

Now entirely fails to work. Tried reinstalling but now it won't update its dictionaries and I cannot get past the first 'tap to begin introduction' screen. The long video ads are - when the app works - immediate cause for ending the application when using mobile data rather than wi-fi. I refuse to let my mobile data be sucked away needlessly.

Don't even bother! There is an advert after every turn, and after about 3 turns the adverts start to crash the app... Why this game needs adverts is beyond me, does EA not have enough money to most it's bills, so they're cramming add into every turn. A great game like Scrabble does not need to be ruined like this, sort it out.

Worse than before,I have to keep enlarging the screen to get the letters to go where I want to place them, so many adverts!!! Takes ages to load up..I love playing scrabble so i have to put up with it. It crashes all the time now, stupid adverts all the time, have to switch off my device when it crashes...useless!!!

I enjoy the game. However it sticks frequently, and needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled at these times. The dictionary still has no definitions. There should be an Oxford English dictionary option. It allows American English and not English traditional words. The adds are repetitive and loud. Video ads drain phone batteries too.

German dictionary not correct. High cpu load and thus battery consumption. Additional it messes with the music player/audio, full screen is inconvenient, looses connection, does not work offline and some adds are terrible. It could be so much better!

I love Scrabble and would've rated this version much higher if it wasn't for the over intrusive adverts! Please an option to buy and stop the stupid, stupid advert interruptions. They really do or me off playing this version of the game. What's more annoying is that the (cr)apple version of the exact same game has a purchase option for a 'premium' version which stops the adverts... Why can't the same be done with the Android version? It seems all apps aren't created equal!

So many video adverts! Ruins it. Same bloody Barbie ad every other turn. How many little girls who like Barbie are playing scrabble??? So boring to have to watch over and over and over. By all means, flash up a still ad but why sooooooo many video ads?

Do not waste your time with this game, far more interested in money, hence the numerous pathetic video adverts. Plus it keeps crashing, must be an amateur behind this app. Shame really as I love word games but this is more like guess the advert. One word 'PATHETIC'

Great game, easy to use and computer ones back with quick response. Only downfall is the number of ads. Every time you play your turn, you have to sit through the same ad sometimes 5 in a row of the same. Shake it up bit at least!?

It's difficul to think of anything positive to say about the game. Ads constantly crash the app; the graphics are a dumbed down embarrassment; despite requesting no Daily Tips I'm frequently interrupted by inane questions and announcements. On top of all that, so many people still sorely miss the wonderful community that grew around Scrabble before it was taken over by EA. I continue to play out of habit and the fact that I managed to keep playing with a couple of old Scrabble buddies who became true friends - found on Scrabble before it was ruined.

Access to official scramble book to look for ideas of words, ie words begining with Q, (as you would be able to do with the book), as the computer comes up with the most ridiculous words that you would not know exists unless you could look them up, otherwise a good game. That would be a 5 star then. I don't mind the ads because it makes the game free.

Great but keeps logging out of FB - frustrating. I don't mind the ads but I refuse to be forced into watching a long video ad, so I have to close it and open again. Having to endure a 30sec ad in a 2min speed game is utterly ridiculous !!

Game's good... but playing in Spanish, game claims that "OCHO" is not a valid word (fyi, ocho is eight in Spanish). Such a basic mistake is unacceptable and forces me to doubt about the quality of the dictionaries used and thus of the game itself.

Love the game.. BUT and its a big but... even after all the updates it still crashes after each word played. And the adverts are very invasive.... it would also be nice to be able to sync the game with other devices and search for a specific player...

The game plays an advert after every move, which are sometimes as long as 30 seconds (unskippable). You can't play offline even with the computer. Hilariously it'll say 'some features not available' if you're not online. Those 'features' are 'being able to play the game at all'. Apparently EA think that being unable to smother you with advertising means you shouldn't be able to play the game. The game itself is fine but EA's treatment of its players is disgraceful.

Love the game but why not charge to ditch the ads? As mentioned elsewhere the ads are buggy and cause it to crash and are totally invasive. I contacted EA about paying but they didn't even respond. Poor service and badly thought out commercial decisions.

Have reviewed before when repetitive adverts spoiled the whole thing. After a period of sanity we have now returned to repetitive untargetted ads. Yes I'm sure Video Game Hero Barbie is wonderful and that NatWest have considered nuts and bolts - a hundred times...

What's with the notification saying "IT'S ON?". No it's not on and I'm not trying to kill my opponents, what's wrong with saying so and so played and it's your turn now. Would have given this app a 5 if it were not for video adverts that you can't skip

Potentially good game. However, the constant adverts after each move, and the hanging of the app massively detract from it. If there were a paid for version which removed the ads I would buy it definitely. However, I am uninstalling instead. A shame really. Totally wrecked what could be a decent straightforward app.

Would give 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that it plays an advert after each move and then crashes. Also allows computerised opponent to play made up words. Very ridiculous and annoying game.

The game is good if it wasnt for my friends i would not bother. The ads spoil it. Totally it freezes and remains on a stuck ad even after you come out. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr very annoyed.....

Whilst I love Scrabble, and this could be a great app, it's the ads that let it down somewhat. I don't mind them being there so much but they are buggy and cause freezes or crashes regularly. It becomes very annoying after a while.

Staggering that a big brand made by a big company has so many bugs with it and has done so for a long long time. I like the game but play it despite putting up with the bugs. Main two: When opening the app, if you're listening to a podcast it'll pause the audio. Every time. Video ads occasionally crash the game with a black screen and so you have to restart, so that you then can't see the teacher on your last move.

Love the game and the fact you can play your friends. I hate the ads. Wish you could pay for the game and ditch the ads. The game crashes after the ads which is frustrating and effects the quality of the game amd the app

Great fun with friends but unplayable thanks to the ridiculously long (30 sec) ads after every single play! Seriously.. Play three moves and hear the same rubbish ad three times. I like most people would pay a reasonable fee to have a no ads app.

Constantly crashes. It's not even a complicated game - couldn't get much simpler really. The advertisement after every single move is pretty pathetic too. Shows there's little interest in creating a decent product but plenty in trying to fill their pockets. Could be great. Is instead really dire.

I truly enjoy the game I wish it had a part where it display the meaning for each work spelt by players. The Ads are annoying but I get use to it. The new upgrade was not necessary don't like the green colour can barely see the points.

Drops off at regular intervals normally after ads. Tried to buy the app once never found out what to do with the coins i bought. Would love to buy ad free but can't, too lucrative these ads.

This has to be the worst app in Play Store! EA should be ashamed of themselves. Even IT students would do much better. Wrong scores & missing tiles make it impossible to enjoy Scrabble.

Good game but the video adverts are driving me mad!! Please can we have an option to remove them, happy to pay a small fee for them to go. They really ruin an otherwise really good game.

Unbelievably intrusive ads I've never seen or heard anything like it. I thought I'd play quietly while my hubby slept. Suddenly full volume ad for Barbie plays after my turn, hijacking my device for a full 30 seconds with no way to turn it off. Quickest uninstall EVER. Steer well clear of this.

I love the game and the set up..but placing an ad or a video after every move really! What a shame you are ruining your own app through greed. Reduce the ads to one a game

Such a nice game ruined by aggressive ads. Why developers do ignore the requests to scrap unfair ADS WHICH PREVENT us to use the game CONTINUOUSLY? How come the behaviour of the app of a respected game indicates ADs are MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE GAME ITSELF?!

Repeatedly freezes when trying to play adverts. Don't mind the adverts, but get them working - it's a right pain to have to keep closing and reopening the game! The adverts don't actually play so the advertisers aren't even getting their money's worth!

ADVERTS galore. Otherwise good. Come on EA. make a paid version so we can give you actual money to avoid having to sit through advert after advert. You don't get this crap with wordfeud.

Fantastic game, I love it. I'm just so fed up with the video adverts. The ones I can close are bearable but having to wait for a silly video (that I don't care to watch) to finish before I can play the next game is ridiculous. I would pay to remove ads if I could. They really ruin the game.

Why so many adds!!! After every single word you play there is an add as well as ads at the top of the screen all the time. I would rather pay for the app and have no ads. Very disappointed

Great for passing the time, despite the inclusion of some strange words, but ruined by adverts after every move. I strongly object to having to sit through 30 second videos (that I make a point of ignoring) over and over again, that don't interest me and eat up my data allowance.
