-An infinite number of puzzles, each generated randomly to be unique and interesting.
-A gorgeous, soothing soundtrack composed by Omni-Psyence
-Simple, forgiving gameplay. Take as long as you want, use as many cuts as you want, and skip any shape you want.
-Or: challenge yourself to conquer each shape in as few cuts as possible, with 3 selectable levels of complexity.
This would be an easy five stars if it didn't crash so much. It's very zen but also nicely challenging. Fix the crashes and I'll rate again!
i played this game at the ign mixer and was totally sold. awesome relaxing stuff! really dig the audio too :D
I love this game. It's endless puzzling fun and very addicting. However, in terms of what it's offering, it has very little. There are 3 levels of difficulty, yet there is little variation in what you'll be doing. This, however, is a light complaint; still highly recommended because what it DOES have is fantastic.
I've download dozens if not hundreds of Android games over the years, and this was the first to compel me to write a review. Outstanding work. Relaxing and engaging.
A fairly challenging game that is fun and innovative. Unlimited challenging puzzles to accomplish. Only suggestions would be a way to turn off sound. And acheivments...
It reminds me of what I love about Zen Bound; the simple nature of the game play coupled with a pleasing aesthetic makes it thoughtful fun time and again.
It should have levels and order
Not hard just casual fun
Good for relaxing and calming down
On droid dba, cannot figure out how to get to menus.
The basic formula of the game really resonates with me, I've always loved these kinds of graphical puzzles. Solving each puzzle feels nice and satisfying without the need of much fanfare, but motivation quickly wanes without any sort of progression, record keeping, or real linear difficulty curve. Having infinitely many puzzles is a nice thing, but there should definitely be some pre-made ones that challenge you with a limited number of slices and grade your performance. The presentation is spot-on, beautiful and simple, and a top notch soundtrack comparable to that found in Splice ties the whole package together. Overall a satisfying purchase, I'd very much look forward to possible future updates, or even a sequel with more robust features.
I have been following this game for a little while now, so it was nice to finally get my hands on it. Perfection takes elements from games like 'iSlash', but takes it in a new zen-like direction. The graphics are gorgeous, the soundtrack is wonderful, and the infinite number of levels doesn't hurt either. So far I'm really impressed by Perfection.
