Drop Alert

For those of us who are constantly dropping our phone without realizing it, there is now an app for that! Drop Alert uses the phone's accelerometer to detect when the phone is dropped and will alert everyone around in a fun and humorous way. Choose from 9 different sounds or phrases for an entertaining drop warning experience.

Drop Alert can also be used as a practical joke. By setting the sensitivity bar way to the left when someone touches, bumps, or picks up your phone it will scream at them. Perfect for warning you when someone tries to read your text messages!

Once Drop Alert has been started it will continue to run in the background until the stop button is pressed. When a device goes to sleep the app will also go to sleep unless the "Sleep Mode" check box is checked. This will prevent the CPU from fully going to sleep and may cause battery drain. Unfortunately, different devices handle sleep mode differently and the accelerometer may still sleep when even with the "Sleep Mode" box checked.
