Would be nice to have instructions. As another person stated, it opens up as you play. More options pop up, and more abilities. I almost stopped playing because I thought it was boring. Thank goodness I kept playing, cuz the more you do, the more you can do. DEVS I'D MAKE IT MORE CLEAR THAT THE GAME OPENS UP AS U PLAY! Prob keep more players playing that way! Need some work, but good game, all in all.

Night and day cycle would be nice and a book and quill to remember maps that you have been. Is it different maps all the time? Hope i could reset... 2 player. Fight tribes.......Landscape like rocks and obstacles. Please dont change the style of the game dont change graphics graphics are fine. Not being sarcastic. Its a good game. Hope you become successful.

It's a great game! It's part of my daily! routine haha. The only problem is, is that it gets repetitive over time. I still haven't beat it yet but it would be interesting if you made an update with a lot of new content like customizable text colors/names. Either way it's a great game and I would totally recommend it to my friends!

5 stars: great idea, concept and execution. You start with nothing and with time (and patience) you get to manage a big village, wield from bone spears to laser rifle and from walking to build a spaceship.... but once you cleared the game, that's it, you cleared itband there is no replay value.... If the developers added a perk (like double resources produced or less time to produce X thing) for completing the game, I might be more inclined to keep playing it. But nevertheless is a great game! 5/5 stars.

I don't know how this compares with other ports/versions but I believe this game is worth finishing. Every time I thought I had done it all, I explored a little more and something new opened up. All the way until I was surprised by a ending screen and score. I am not ready to replay this game, yet. I am keeping it around for now though. Great job, dev

I found this game on the internet once, but I can't play it there anymore. I found this in accident, I didn't even know it had a game app. I'm really happy I can play this again, it's my favorite text game. It's a great idle game, that gradually reveals a bit of plot, and I think it's really interesting. My only problem is the ads. They cover part of the screen and you can't see all the text without clicking a button. I think the ability to scroll would work better. But all in all, this is a fantastic game.

I beat it in about 5 hours, its a good game and you do require patience to get the resources you need. My only 2 issues are: 1) The resources buffs didn't always work. 2) you could skip upgrading everything and simply look for Alien Alloy and the Old Spaceship and beat the game without using any weapons

Expect a bumpy start as you figure out the interface. By the time you do that you should be hooked. It's like a combination of to-do lists and text messages with a simple map. Hard to describe but fun to follow. I would give it a five if the ads didn't cover part of the interface.

So far I love this game, there is a minor glitch though, now that I've progressed further that is hindering gameplay. Steel production only seems to work when I'm actually on the game. Seeing at how slow this product is created this is a very limiting issue. Other than that, it's very addicting and creative for a text based rpg :)

Please fix the hunter ".5x fur" issue as stated by many others in the comments. You set it to something high, like 25x furs, and 5 mins later after cooking food, it returns to .5 furs on its own.. that and i hear about a steel production issue? But that's the only issue so far. Great game!

The game buged out and I can't build the still mill anymore and I dont want to start over. And to people that are having issues with thieves.(SPOILER) The answer is a random encounter at your village. One of your villagers will bring a old man out of the store room and gives you option to hang or spare him . spare him it will give you sneak and will remove the thieves. Hoped that helped.

Nice text based game. My only problem is it seems after setting people as hunters and leaving the game, at some point it changes to .5 meat and fur /30s. For example, I have 20 hunters but when I open the app later, it's only giving the same amount as one hunter, while still showing 20 hunters.

Normally, back button navigates app menus but in this game it only closes the game. Not good in expeditions when the game penalizes exiting the game like player death. I haven't raged at games like this since the NES era of dust glitches without game saves. It's maddening to lose progress due to developer oversight.

I didn't expect it to be so enjoyable! It was amazing how with it's simple design that it ended up being a great gaming experience. I also didn't expect it to have much story to it, but it's slow, mysterious and developing story was what really kept me hooked on the game for 2 days. Give it a try!

It's been so long since I last played such an addictive game. Everything is amazing. I wish if there was some forums or something to discuss things or get advise. I completed the game but I still have some questions unanswered like the laser rifle, is there a special mine which will give required resources to make energy cell (like bullets using sulphur from sulphur mine). Is there some special mine for it.

But my ability to forge a steel sword disappeared? And also can't see all of the map at the bottom due to ads. It's be good if you could store items found in your outposts and maybe train a friend from the village to come out with you.

Loved it but becomes repetitive meaning there's no reason to play but also problems with scrolling on the map take away from expeditions.Adding a storyline and making a bigger map would help make it more interesting. Adding more village capacity or enabling other villages to be made would add to making the game more interesting.

I have played the computer version of this game for years. When I was little, I loved just finding random games, and I found this one. I have beat the game many times. So I'm not a noob. But in this game, I can't get rid of the theives. They keep taking my fur. And since they steal 5 every 10 seconds, I need 32 people on just hunting to combat it. I dont know if it's my fault, or a glitch.

But it is super frustrating in a lot of ways. I would love it if you added a way to sell extra items and if you could retrieve lost items after your adventurer dies, by going back to visit the spot where they died. And random detrimental events seem to happen much too frequently, I spend 90% of my wood on rebuilding traps.

A Dark Room is a great web game, but it's not exactly mobile friendly, which is why I was excited to see this on the App Store. I started playing, and everything worked fine... Until I got 12 "friends". Once I reached this point, the game would overload and send me back to my home screen every 5 seconds. This also lead me to find out that backing out of the game and reopening it completely cancels all action cool downs, allowing you to perform an action a lot of times in a row (Character limit)

It's great, I love it and didn't expect to. But the ads take up the screen at the bottom and I can't scroll so half the time if I'm travelling I can't press leave, and I get stuck in a cave or something. I would be willing to purchase the game and buy out the ads but I don't see that option

My stores of meat, fur & wood are constantly under attack from thieves. I have no idea how to get rid of them, and I'm really unimpressed. There was no event screen for it, either - I just noticed my stores dropping.

The crashes on expeditions happen frequently enough on expeditions to really hurt--and lower the rating-- since you lose some cool weapons (worse with steel being such a pain to get). Its still worth the expierience, so try it out. Don't you want to know what the hell is making those noises in the store room?

Great game... starts out awfully slow but it really gets interesting after you begin exploring. The UI is pretty horrendous though and it is irritating having everything in a single column of blocks. It's not bad at all at first but once the list consists of dozens of things... Blargh. Great game overall.

Its great, but could you just give a little background in the beginning. Like um... "You're lost and cold in the darkness of the forest. Find a way to survive, and maybe... Find others like you along the way." Idk...

First boring, later i knew how it work and addicted but it doesn't do auto collect when i don't play the game. i have to wait very long time to get the enough resource. and it also doesn't have how to play nor restart game option. i think only way to restart game is reinstall. expection to these this game is a really fun to play.

Once you get to a certain point it's kind of pointless to keep on playing. I played for a couple of hours and after I built everything there was really nothing else to do. Just keep surviving and explore caves

It's fun but whenever I want to embark on a mission the game freezes (before I can even see the map), making me lose all the stuff I wanted to take with me. I have lost many swords, charms, rifles, torches and lots of cured meat and medicines.

At the point of the game that I am currently at, there is a bug that does not show how much steel and sulphur I have despite having the buildings to produce them. There's also an issue where the starship lags thus causes it to not move and it eventually kills me.

It keeps glitching with the workers. I don't always get my resources. And the gatheres always go down to +1 when I usually have 14 people there.

At first it's like what in the world is going on and then bam dan something happens and it leads to something else be sure to read the words!!!

Fun but frustrating. Especially when you die. Runs when you press home, so no need to keep it open. Played it many times, still enjoy it.

I love this game. You may find it a bit tedious, boring or confusing at first, but once you get into it you REALLY get into it! There's a lot of great fun to be had here. Deserves a higher rating.

I have played this game since it first came out and i still love and play it to this day. BUT i had purchased the ad free version on my iPhone and now that i have changed to android there is no redeem of any sort. I just hate ads..... other than that i love this game

Is extremely fun a lil confusing and disappointing at first but that's it got better and better as I play more and more, the game sometimes glitches when I go exploring and makes me loose stuff tho .-.

If a menu that is too big requires scrolling to get to the bottom, I can't scroll down, this is annoying because if I am on an expedition, I lose everything by being forced to exit the app

Great game, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get off of the dusty path once I'm on it.

Please add more to do. I love this game. I am on it every time I get free time. I am running out of things to do, don't want to go to outer space either as I have heard it will reset my village. It would be nice if when you get past the asteroids there is another planet you can land on and make your village bigger and do more things on it. I really really really love the game though. But please give me more to do with my village. -Lily

I just wish that while it was running in the background that resource collection wouldn't drop down to zilch. That's pretty much my only complaint for an otherwise excellent game. Thanks guys, you've done great!
