A Blind Legend

Great game! It is truly an immersive experience where one can imagine oneself in the shoes of a blind knight. This is exactly the kind of challenge I have been looking for in games; the almost frustrating, yet so very satisfying kind of challenge. I would've given it a full 5 stars if only the voice acting were better, but the gameplay itself is brilliant! I would no doubt recommend this jewel to anyone new to audio only games. Again, not taking into account the voice acting, I give this game an 11/10

This was SUCH an awesome game! It's such a good idea to have an only audio game. I really got into it, because you get to imagine the places where you are, and the sounds match up. I had to concentrate to hear the direction of some sounds, because that's how you fight in this game. The story and the voice acting and everything is SO AWESOME!! I'm so sad this game is over. I'm going to play more only-audio games from now on! 10/10

As a totally blind user, I think this is a completely awesome game! There are just a couple of things that I think would make it better. It appears that some tweaks need to be made to the gestures that allow you to manipulate your character. It also would be nice if the game wood store your status within a stage. It is kind of annoying , to lose my progress, if I exit the game and have to start over at the beginning of the stage. Other than that, I say great job!

Close to being blind. Why did you put braille if it can't be felt? I'm currently stuck in the cave at the beginning. Am I dead or the bear? It would be nice if I could have the movements explained more than once. Say it's two weeks between play time. What are the odds I'm going to remember all of the details?

Brilliant game! I love the idea and honestly think it's pretty revolutionary. I wish we could see more games like this. Overall, very good controls. I would definitely recommend this game to everyone who's looking for something new. I wouldn't recommend playing this in a venue where you can't hear the game as audio is what the game really revolves around. Keep making awesome games, DOWINO.

I'd give five stars for Idea and for voice acting. It really feels like you're in this Game Of Thrones/medieval type environment. However I can't play this game for more than few minutes because of the frustration from turning around. A girl will yell "to the left", and you'll turn for eleven times until you're turned completely to her direction, if you'll hold the turning button - you'll turn too much and overpass the needed direction. It would be fine if 1 turn would be equal to 90 or 45 degrees.

I have reached the point where they are at the fishing village and the combat with the monster there was just unbelievable. I have been slashing at it and doing damage with the corresponding hitting sounds for half an hour now, but it keeps on attacking as if its HP never went down. Thr battlr just never ends. I utter loved the game before this point.

But, how do you know if you're turning around or going left or right? Why can't we just make a circle in the screen to turn around, and press down on one side of the screen to go left or right? It would make it easier for me.

The game would be much better without the automated voice telling me what to do. I couldn't even get past the tutorial without having to quit the game in frustration over the obnoxious female robotic voice. Would definitely benefit from a narrator.

Never taught I'll ever say tgis to a mobile game, but man, tgis game is aasterpiece,the only thing thet could make it better is cutting out or hiding loading screens (doing them under a scene or something). Great job! Keep it up! :)

Nice concept. But the story is very childish and simple, not much thought put into it. And the voice acting seems to be bad on purpose, like it was done as a joke. Finally, the game seems repetitive, left right left right, hack with sword, left right left right...

Still in the early part of the game but when you move and the bells toll and the guards abduct your wife, I didn't know I was even moving if it weren't for the footsteps because the background noise seemed constant which didn't give me a sense of motion initially. Minor nitpick though. Still very immersing right from the menu.

Definitely a masterpiece! Amazing concept of gaming! I just started it and hope it's not short enough to piss me off.. the only con is while moving or fighting I would like it more if the screen would shake so I could feel the intensity much more into the game. Nevertheless it's a badass game that takes me back to BCs..

It is an amazing game. One of the most innovative I have played. The sound it really feels to be in the game! And have a privilege to be a knight. And yet one problem its sounds shuts down if any notification arrives!

Boring is the only word fitting for it. Walking is annoying and fighting involves doing one gimmicky move 5 or more times.

You would think that since its mechanic is entirely based on audio there would have been proper audio samples chosen and be regulated properly throughout the game. Instead a terrible voice over bot was chosen as a menu voice and during combat there is no distinct difference of distance between the audios and the locations on the screen. Plus there is no proper menu.

Pretty cool until I recieved a notification that bugged out the game and removed all the sound. Quitting back to the menu did nothing either. As far as I know the only way for me to continue playing is to clear the data and start from the beginning...

I'm on the part where you meet a girl on the way to find the demon. It is hard. It takes a while to get there and she always gets me around three times killing me. I hope in the end of this game, I will be able to watch myself play in third person. That would be really cool!

Seeing how difference this game is played really amaze me. The part where i fought the mercenaries are really difficult tho. I dont know where are their attacks came from. And i need help.

It was a very unique gaming experience. It took a little bit of practice getting used to following his daughters footsteps and leaning less on requesting voice, right/left guidance. As for the turning as others have complained, it did not bug me in the slightest. I counted for time to know when i turned far enough. The only downside to this game for me was the frequent load screens- it broke up the fluidity of the story and it really did annoy me quite alot. -1 star for the frequent loading.

Although I'm not really blind per se it's still enjoyable!!! I listen to a lot of audio drama stories and this is close enough to being a part of them. Keep up the good work. Now it was a bit tedious with the turning around and following Eloise's voice. Otherwise again I loved it!!!

Idea of a game without video and using your hearing senses is an incredible Idea. Not only does it allow people to improve their hearing senses by simulating a blind person, it also gives the visually impaired a game to play. I give this a 10/5.

S.K. InkSlinger has a point...during the fight with the serpent I thought he was attacking to my left but was to the front of me. Took me a little to adjust but this game really brings your imagination to life. Awesome game!!!

I definitely love the idea,can't argue with that..Only few problems I've faced is when I'm following his daughter in a hurry,and facing some problems when she says "to the left!" And I'm just there turning to the left and then forawrd,suddenly she's way on my right,turning should be a bit easier imo..Also,with shield/attack part,sometimes i do slide fast between the shield and my enemy's next move,but it does not count..which may or may not be about screen sensitivity. In general,i loved it.

I am speechless!! The most interactive, immersive and fun game I have ever played. I hope more games like this follow and deliver us the same enjoyment as this did!! Looking forward to more games of this genre!!

I really wanted to like this but this ended up being frustrating rather than fun. I can't figure out sound direction so it just becomes a grinding task of stop, reorient, start, stop, reorient. After dying too much there isn't any way I would pay for more lives. Maybe I have lousy headphones or just not good at aural direction. I admit maybe it's such a new skill im not used to it. Oh and the speech synthesis accent is just grating. Anyway I've deleted since games should be fun.

I cant figure where the voice comes from the sounds are awful i have to constantly tap the screen. I hear her voice coming from every direction

This is a great game, i like it so much foThisose who have trouble fighting.. this is some advice.. slice to tje left when you hear your enemy to the left and right when your hear him to the right.. slice down if he is at the back.. slice upward if he is infront of you... happy now?

It's great. It's a bit diff occult with slashing thingies (Maybe I have bad headphones, anyway I will buy a new one soon.) I'm not an English speaker but I follow the conversation well, and Louise seems so adorable. Technically, your life depends on her mostly since she's your guide...¯_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: I'm stuck at the beach. Louise tries to untie the boat but I fail to understand what to do and the soldiers kill me. 101?

Good thing my imagination works in 60+ fps. Very responsive and with an amazing sense of direction. BTW fix the term video game in your description. It's an audio game :-p

It won't ever turn when you need it to. So you end up getting killed every time.

This is a really awesome game with some new gameplay and thinking.... Just sit back and close your eyes and feel everything. Story line is also good, its something different and a great experience. One of my favorite games

Great sound design, decent voice acting, intriguing story. From time to time the audio tears and the people sound like robots, but this ain't important. ASTOUNDING JOB!

The game is amazing and very initiative. I have never wrote a review for any game till now. Trust me you it's awesome and original. Closes thing to actually playing D_D

It's awesome it gave me the experience of being blind I loved it as I said before keep making these types of games I liked the fact that this game is so detailed.You know a detailed game is the best game so thats it I probably wrote a lot and now I can't stop writing can't belive you are still reading this stop reading now are you still there well I see you are very tough so I'll stop typing now loved the game can't wait for another one.

I like this game. And I became a fan of this game...... Btw there are some sound issues.... It doesn't feel like a reality in background sounds......

Whenever you get a notificaltion all audio cuts out making it unplayable until you close and reopen the game

While playing the game of you get a notification the whole game music gets muted. U can't hear a thing..Which makes this game.. nothing
