METAL SLUG

Was hoping for metal slug advance from gba as I had forgotten what it was. It's hard to shoot at upwards left and right, the alotted space on dpad for that acrion is too small. Continuing on that matter, I feel it would be better to have the dpad still function if you drag your finger out of its zone without lifting it.

This game does have gamepad/controller support for HID type controllers. I have a mad catz ctrlr which I think uses the HID interface. The touchscreen controls kind of suck otherwise. This is a truly classic arcade game and I am really glad to play it on android.

Controls destroy the experience, not worth playing unless you have a peripheral controller.

Worst controls ever. If my thumb goes too far to one side I stop moving and die 100% of the time

I can't connect the multiplayer, nor can I find how I'm supposed to. It's a bit frustrating, since I'd like to play with my younger brother. Otherwise, I love the metal Slug series and plan on getting the other games. I found the controls to be a bit small and impossible to work with but once I found the resizing function it was fine.

I loved this at the arcade. Having on phone is great.

The game is great, but the controls are disappointing. The direcrion buttons aren't receptive enough causing the character to get stuck and end up dying. If that feature was improved this would be perfect. Please fix it!

I have a Zenfone 2, Intel processor, I bought the game and cannot play at all.

It's fixed already but hoped they fixed it sooner

Solid port/emulation job of a classic game. Runs well, even on an older device like mine. If only I had some kind of Bluetooth controller to use instead of touch controls, as that's really the only downfall this and a lot of other Android games and emulators have.

This game is now (after a while) worth getting the interface, crashing, menu, all have been revamped and is very well done game plays really well and the options are plentiful from control mapping to video output. The only thing I did not enjoy is the menu it is a bit clunky and sometimes need to be pressed more than one time to register, the design is simple but a bit bland.

Fixed the bug at start on Xperia Z1, the controls are a bit uncomfortable, but that's because it's hard to play using only your thumbs haha

Was awful thanks to a terrible interface, now it's actually worth playing and is actually playable

The joy stick is horrible you guys need to extend the range where the joystick is still responding to the thumb movement.

The game works. Fun and yeah I am glad to have this arcade classic in my collection

Long time ago waited the update. Now works the game fine on a Galaxy S6 on android version 6.0.

Just reinstalled the game again hoping to see the option to resize the controls and was glad to see it there. Thanks for the update the game is perfect now

It was broken on KitKat and lollipop for a while but they have issued a fix and game runs smooth.

Samurai Showdown2, KOF every SNK port I've tried has been excellent, with the controls perfectly adapted for touchscreen. I do have a request for Metal Slug though, could you make the controller a bit more responsive, perhaps if I could re-scale it larger that might help, certain direction commands it doesn't handle so well. For instance when trying to crawl under the electric fence he'll stand up all of a sudden. That's the only reason I haven't given full marks

A very well adaptation of a classic arcade game to the mobile market and it's available for Android device! I loved this game for years. I already own the anthology on PlayStation 2, now I have it for my Android tablet. Very well ported over from the NeoGeo, which is a Motorola 68000 hardware device and now available for Android on ARM devices. Looks and plays flawless and fluid. Well done. The action is legendary.

The biggest flaw with all the Metal Slug app's is the games button design. On a tablet the buttons are fine but on mobile devices they take up most of the screen. Even with the button transparency that was added they are just too big for mobile devices. The developers should consider adding the ability to resize the buttons with a global option to set the transparency level of all the buttons from 0% - 100% transparency.
