Double Dragon Trilogy

For the price it's ok. Even though some have commented they had download issues, it appears that it's been resolved. Took a gamble and downloaded this on my Nexus 6P running Marshmallow. My gripe is the controls are too sensitive and occasionally unresponsive. You will end up falling over a cliff more times than you can imagine. If the developer can fix that, it would be perfect.

Making this a 5 star review so it does not hurt developer. Hoping that Google sees the issue and fixes it. Same problem on Nexus 6 and Nexus Player though on the NP you do not see the error, it just aborts install.

Well worth the price on my Nividia Shield Android TV. The Google Play Games addition to all the games is great. I have not tried on my LG G4 Android phone yet but I am sure it will be great too.

Love the game and the dev. However when I try to play local multiplayer, it comes up with: "cannot connect to [player], get them to enable bluetooth tethering". Even if I enable it it still says that. DotEmu can you please help me??

Double dragron 3 "insert coins" to power up , umm okay how do I insert coins? And to continue the game play like really 3 coins continue:? I keep getting beat up because of the slow reaction of the game controls and the game pad like it scrolls the charater the wrong way

Great flashback really reminds me of playing this when i was really young and the scan lines are great but DD2 "The Revenge" is just that little bit too hard to still remain fun whilest being challenging. It IS beatable just that little bit too frustrating to want to keep at

It won't install :( oh well, I have it on Ouya too. I know it's great... When it works (Xperia t2 Ultra, Note 3 and a goofy Blu Phone. Either won't download or won't play. Just errors)

Falsely advertising "new levels" really got my hopes up, but there are none. And why not a quadrilogy with double dragon iv? Throw away dd3! What it is is done perfectly though. Many control options. Not to be missed!

It's great for us that have been gamers for more than 30yrs. Elbow! Kick ! Jump kick! Roundhouse kick!....what used to be "the hardest move" is now a walk in the park. Reminds me of times when even a 10yr old kid could smoke cigarettes in a arcade, and the machines had ash trays stuck to them. Geez I'm old

Won't let me download on my HTC first... (403 error) will give 5 stars when fixed. Thanks for response guys! I can't wait to play it. Again, will rate 5 when fixed. :) and final boss in 2 needs toned down.

Game is working again as of 4/29/15. Game is good, plays like the arcades but with touch inputs. Seems to have the ability to use external controls but since I don't have any I will not comment on that. Thank you DotEmu for fixing the error.

I really enjoy this app. Well worth the purchase. Only one complaint. Could you fix the sound in an update? No big deal if you can't. It just would be nice. Thank You Developers:-)

Brings me.to the good old days

Just can't stop playing this game. Game wont award me my expert and arcade mode achievment, instead it gave me the 50k and no damage achievment, and the game refuses to reward me my achievment nomatter how many times i beat it. Wish it had an online match making mode. Please fix these problems and add an online mode and i would gladly give it a 5. Matchmaking would be perfect for those who dont have a friend to play with. Some glitches and bugs please fix.

Doesn't want to download the content keep closing saying needs internet and have full WiFi with my own box still won't download I want my money back

Brings back alot of memories. A game that was ahead of its time and still a classic. Good old days of beta and vhs and walkmen. Wish I can go back. This game took me back in time. Money worth spend.

Hello to the fellow staff of DotEmu! I'd got this amazing app to get it to played correctly on my Samsung Galaxy S5 beautifully and nearly flawlessly. Only reason it isn't completely 5 stars was simple: playing on my Bluetooth USB OTG Cable was horrible and got too many delays, when I was pushing the ABXY buttons was sluggish. Please fix this immediately on your next upcoming updates and thanks bunch, guys!!!

How it comes than an emulator does it better that this and for free? Waste of money, actually wants me to kick my phone instead of Abobos.

The game loaded and played fine the first time I tried it now it will not load. I get the splash screen for a few seconds then it crashes. Rebooting the phone didn't help, very disappointed.

The joystick function is a little awkward but fine. The game is stable and looks just like the originals. I have trouble doing the combos though need practice

This game brings back old school memories of when I was six seven years old playing Double Dragon at the 7-Eleven near my house spending all my money on this game it's an excellent game all 3 games I would love it if you guys would consider making an emu of the 1987 game RASTAN that was also a classic for me can you please please please make that game also I would buy it happily

DotEmu will not respond to my emails. The Server is down. I can't even download the game or sideload the game. However its a great game when you can play.

Much better controls make this now a playable version of the classic. Still annoying that it doesnt register what you want it to do occasionally (jump kicks for example are hit and miss) but then it always was originally!

This takes me back to Brighton 1988. Cost me so much money back then. Always asking me mum for 20p to play it. This app is arcade perfect once you adjust the buttons and joystick it is very playable. I only purchased for the first double dragon, no 2 was a lot harder, enjoyable but not as good. The third one was the worst of the lot it was rubbish when it was released and it is rubbish now. Anyway the app cost £2 which is a bargain highly recommended.

Great action and fighting they should remaster this on the new consoles a great collection.call its the great dragon fighting edition.

elbow from dd1 is missing and I'm sure there's a front kick missing from dd2 it has back kick but no front otherwise solid ports of classic games from my youth my mistake just loaded app again and mysteriously elbow is now working weird

I love the idea of having old console games and computer games on my phone and tablet but don't get this. I ignored the comments and bought it any ways and the game is broken. The audio is all messed up and kills the fun times you remember from your childhood play the double D. This complaint is made in older comments so it doesn't seem like they are fixing it. Too bad because it discourages me from buying any more from them and they do have a ton of games I would have thrown out money for.

The game is good, but very unfair at times. It does bring back childhood memories. Some obstacles are very tough that it makes the game ridicoulous and stupid. These obstacles kill you in 2 hits and impossible to pass at times.

Are you kidding? Its bad enough to take possibly the best beat em up of all time and stick motion controls in it that are laggy but then to totally screw up the double dragon 2 controls is just a joke. The whole point was to hit in the direction of the button you pressed, not having to think which button you need to use to hit which side. Apologies to people who have never played the original coin ops as you wont know what the hell im talking about but this is ruined. Refund! Update, not only have I not been refunded but now it doesn't work at all. Just crashes on start up

As soon as your character is knocked down it is nearly impossible to avoid further damage (especially some bosses and wall traps in DD2 won't allow you to recover). Jumping directly between 2 opponents is also impossible and will lead to a knockdown. Too bad, because I really liked Double Dragon series on NES/SNES, which also had a completely different level design and more variety+size.

It's nice to finally have some Double Dragon goodness on the go without having to mess around with emulators. Each game plays just like its arcade counterpart with exception to the music. The original arcade soundtrack does not loop like it should, but it instead fades out and then starts up again. The controls are a bit awkward, but at least they are customizable. Overall, this trilogy is pretty good, and it's nice to see it faithfully ported to mobile.

It's a good game but the enemies are too hard to kill and when they gang up on you its impossible to lay a punch
