Now play the classic Doctor Who game Daleks on your phone or tablet.
From the British science fiction TV series Doctor Who, Daleks are a extraterrestrial race of genetically manipulated mutants who are numerous but predictable. Your task is to help that ingenious time traveler, Doctor Who, avoid ever-growing swarms Daleks, his arch enemies. You're armed only with your trusty Sonic Screwdriver, an ability to teleport to random destinations, and, of course, your unrivaled intellect.
The object is to destroy all of the Daleks. When they crash into each other they are destroyed and create a pile of rubble. If they just touch you The Doctor, the game's over. If a Dalek crashes into rubble it's destroyed. They are very predictable and they always move directly toward you. You can exploit this weakness to defeat them.
Scoring: Sonic screwdriver = 3x level; Dalek to Dalek collision = 2x level; Dalek to rubble collision = 1x level. Use the TARDIS to teleport to a new location (caution: land too close and a Dalek will destroy you). The Sonic Screwdriver blasts all of the Daleks next to you. Click the Dalek icon for a last stand where all points are doubled.

Played a few versions over the years. This version is not the best I've played but it's solid. Not a fan of the graphic updates - simpler was better. An option I'd really like to see is a no telephoto death option - essentially taking luck out of the equation and playing until you make a mistake or the board is too full for you to move. High score 24000!

Very good version of an older game. Some kind of leaderboard to compare with other players would be a good incentive to going for higher scores. My best so far is around 3800.

I love the game but its rare that I get past wave 5 before I materialize right next to a monster and am killed. I wish there were a setting for 'not getting killed immediately after transporting'!

with your last update, you have done what most of the game community loathes in the evolution of computer games: you added a lot of fancy graphics with no function; instead slowing down game experience through animations and thus ruining the fun. daleks needs to be played FAST - the animations and graphics are entirely unimportant to this game. please add at least an option to have the old, simple, unanimated design. *EDIT: changed stars to 5 after new option to turn if animations* :-)

I love playing this game during my breaks at work but with the new update the buttons and sprites appear as black squares, this might just be my phone but i reinstalled and still had the issue. The game is still playable since i already remembered all the buttons, but another small issue is the new animations slow down game play considerably. I think making the classic version available in the settings would help tremendously

I admit, the new graphics are pretty cool. But as one who played this game back in the late '80s and early '90s, I prefer the retro, nostalgic look this game had before the update. Couldn't you keep an option to play it with a "classic" look? Would be pretty much perfect then.

This is a classic game which perfectly suits being a quick time filler on your mobile. I've been waiting for this for ages. A very basic game which requires a healthy dose of thought and luck.
