EGGLIA: Legend of the Redcap for Android
Best game on Android. Fantastic story and superb gameplay for mobile. Keep playing it all the time.
Beautiful game with great dialogue and characters. Definitely worth the price unless you're a total cheap ass. Only downside is the Wi-Fi requirement.
Top notch game so far. I love the art and graphics and thrn dialogue. I've killed my phone 3 times already playing this game. I donr like toen builders but this one is disguised as a turn based rp game much like shining force and I highly enjoy it enough that the price tag is pf very little concern to me. It will provide hours of entertainment and im sure the replay value will prove itself worthy.
Having a great time with this game. The art is top notch and the dialogue is super charming. The battle system is simple but has enough depth where you have to plan correctly and use what you have. It's grindy at points but since the game is only a one time fee there's no risk of being stuck and having to pay for upgrades to get past. Highly recommended, mobile games need more heart and this delivers
Absolutely brilliant. It's beautiful. Love the art/graphics. The characters. Dialogue/story scenes. Great gameplay. As a fan of RPGs Egglia takes on it's own style and owns it. Are you getting what you pay for? Yes. This is a high quality game made with a lot of love that's gorgeous, and runs great too. Loading screens take some patience but it's worth it. All in all beautiful game so far. Thank you! Much love to the developers. Happy I came across this is in the app store ❤
Having fun so far, enjoying the similarities to Legend of Mana. Even if the combat system is different, it works well. Only issue I have encountered is some crashes on the Event Isle. Would also be nice to have a cloud save option or link to Google Play to backup saves. Despite these minor issues, I am having fun and still rate the game five stars.
This game feels like it came right out of Legend of Mana, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The combat and cast of characters are really the only differences really. The game has classic RPG elements and plays great with a tactical element. The developer did a great job with pacing, and overall artwork.
This game truly reminds me of other turn-based strategy games such as Tactics Ogre, Fire Emblem, and Final Fantasy Tactics. Please read on the others' review regarding this game as basically they keep on repeating the same thing. I've never tried any games mentioned in the reviews before, but for me this game is a gem. Worth it.
Great revival of a great classic game! I'm not into turn-base games but got hooked into this. I'm a fan of Legend of Mana and this is obviously a reminiscent of the game. You can see in the game the passion and dedication of the developers for they paid attention to each details, even the tiniest detail - the beautiful graphics and style, lovely soundtrack and funny dialogues. The gameplay is quite simple and the story is lighthearted, while it's not for everyone, it has its charm. The gameplay is very similar to Legend of Mana but turn-base combat system with a bit of touch of Harvest Moon (which I love too!). Aside on completing missions, you need to attract residents to your town and build relationship with them too. Combat is a combination of luck and tactics. You have to strategize with whatever the die would give you, with the help of the spirits you brought with you. Though the plot is lighthearted, it is enough to keep you entertained. Each character has their personality which shows in their funny dialogues. Stories of each quest might be unsophisticated, but they add flavor to the game. Kudos to the team for this amazing game!
I LOVE IT SO MUCH! The art director is the same with Legend of Mana, so I assume its the same team who creates it? I've missed that game so much and was dissapointed with Secret of Mana... Egglia carries the same charm with LoM, only lighter and more portable. Wish the best for the team! Great job. Looking forward to your other games. Hopefully you can make a more complex rpg with changeable equips and such. Definitely will buy more p2p from you guys if the quality is this good
The comparison to Legend of Mana is well warranted - and not just because the main artist did both games. The world building style is very similar. If there's a downside it's balancing. I've yet to find a map that has proper difficulty - power scales rapidly here early on due to the sprite (ie stat/skill modification system). But a charming game through and through.
A few hours into the game and it feels like this is a full game you would get for 3ds or psp. Fun characters and events. Really looking forward to see what happens further into it. Definetely worth the price tag so far.
Truly a great game! Very reminiscent of the old Mana RPGs like Legend of Mana. Music and art is beautiful, the gameplay is great, though the battles get tiring but it works well. Overall, a wonderful experience!
Pretty sweet game. Breath of fresh air in a pile of stale app games bombarded with IAP. If your looking for a couple bucks to spend,...spend it here :)
This is the first time I bought a game and I say it's money well spent! The game is super fun and the story very well written. You can just feel the developer's efforts with every scenario and lines. The characters are likable and give out their own personalities. The gameplay is smooth and quite easy to grasp. Indeed, this is a gem amongst all the rpg genre out there.
Really love the game. Only complaint is that some elements seem to be a little too similar of free to play mechanics.
Love it so far. Only bad thing is the long and frequent load times. Kind of trivial, but still.
Having a really fun time with this title. Definitely worth the money for amount of content you get. The characters are super charming and it makes you feel good seeing your friendship increase. The graphics are amazing, you wouldn't know you're playing a mobile game.
I usually don't review apps however, this one deserved another 5 star review. I am very picky about my mobile games. VERY. I have been disappointed with almost all mobile RPGs other than ones in Japanese which are difficult to play due to the language barrier. With English games, the controls, need for IAP, adds, boring gameplay or long wait times usually kept me downloading and deleting soon after. This game is not like that. At all. Every facet of this is an experience. Amazing art, music, combat, customizable town....they combined Ni No Kuni and Rune Factory together into a mobile game that I was happy to spend the ten dollars on. This is also the most expensive app I've ever purchased and it was worth every dime. I only wish you could change your a year around and get better weapons or armor. Square Enix could stand to learn a little from these folks about how to properly make a mobile RPG. I would love to see this moved to console someday....or a sequel
The game looks and plays very nice. The choppiness on loading is a little annoying but I really like the concept of the game and the Mana series is lovely.
I just bought a new mobile device to play games that requires more requirements to run... I just played a few hours of this title and I am not really impressed. I think the price of this title is a little bit too high! I have noticed that even with more than 1 GB of RAM there is some lag issues in the opening sequence and gameplay. The multiple loading screens while connecting to the Internet is very annoying and sometimes the server cannot be reached and the game stops working, even when my connection is excellent! The touch screen accuracy could be better! When, I want to exit the game the back button does not work! I need to press the window button to exit the game... Until then, I have uninstalled this game until a new expected update! Please fix these bugs! / Samsung Galaxy tab E
By far one of the very best mobile games available. Despite the price being seemingly high for a mobile game, Egglia proves itself more than worth the price. I would gladly pay $20 for a game with this much charm and so much fun to be had.
A good game that worth the money I pay. No gacha and good story lines. Remind me of the old days!
Sweet little game, very comedic. Combat can seem simple but it has its difficulty
Just installed the game. Why am i stuck on loading screen?
Good game for those who love Seiken Densetsu Legend of Mana.
Truly fantastic. Fans of the Mana/Seiken Densetsu series will feel right at home.
Since I play this on my tablet and I'm hardly ever on wifi, I rarely play it.
This game has role playing elements and city building, plus a super cute story. Really enjoying it.
Loved legend of mana, this is a spiritual successor. Super fun so far. Will re review when I beat it.
Spiritual successor of Legend of Mana. Looks, feels, sounds like it. Gameplay is great considering that it is a mobile game. Would recommend.
Fun and progresses well. Dont need to pay to play. Interesting concept for rpg. Overall very well done.
Great game. But it could use a little more free starter gifts just to motivate the players.
Love it but loading screens slow but great game so far
This is one of my recent favorites. Feels like an old console RPG. Worth the price!
Cute and fun game. The characters each have their own personality, and the game is just wonderful.
Awesome game, my only downside is I want more eggs, zone and quest to do!
The idea is old.but hey old is gold thx
Amazing arts and reminds me of legend of mana. So nostalgic, definitely worth the purchase.
