American Civil War for Android
A must have for a true civil war buff. Objectives parallel the historical ones: Richmond, Atlanta, the Mississippi, etc. The legends are all there: Grant, Lee, Sherman, etc. As for gameplay, the strategy mainly consist of how you allocate your resources and distribute your troops--i.e. what you buy and where you send them. Combat leaves a little to be desired--basically just click your army on an enemy and you either succeed or fail, by random chance, modified by potential bonuses (defensive, numerical)
No Rebel playing??? Union had more states as well...
The map is buggy.
The new tutorial is excellent. Best Android game for strategic ACW play. Well worth the price. Now, if you would only publish your outstanding asymmetrical games on Vietnam and Ireland to Android.
Why does it freeze when your about to win??
Would be a really good game, if it would not lock up when you are about to win. Please fix this issue. Also some sound, and artillery pieces would be nice.
I bought this game a couple years back, and I still put it on every phone or tablet I get, but will it ever be updated again? A better UI would be nice, especially what with the Material guidelines being published and all. Plus, it needs better support for the super high-res displays many phones have now.
I love the game, it is fun and challenging much better than most war games. My only complaint is about half the time the game locks up close to the end. outside of this I would give it 5 stars and hope you make more like it.

Great game, until union army traps confederate general and game locks up.
Read instructions carefully. This game is a beautyfull brainpuzzle you must learn how to crack. Victory on 12 turns. Lee is a wonderful enemy.
Not at all user friendly, but the potential is apparent. Can't figure out how fleets work, too easy to build armies when intending to recruit generals.
I bought this app being a Civil War buff, but it won't open. It keeps going back to my desktop. I have a Motorola Xoom with Android and I've deleted and downloaded it several times. I would love to play it or get a refund. Can anyone help?
The 20 turn limit has to change. Almost no way to win other than giving yourself 9 units a turn. Also captured territories should reflect the who is occupying it. Good game with potential but needs some fundamental tweaks.
The game is great, but the time limit is killing me!
