Dark Heresy DCS 2nd Edition

Looks like a solid app however, I'm noticing a possible discrepancy in the characteristic rolling system. My + characteristics are almost consistantly rolling lower than my - characteristic which suggests to me that something might be noodled in the rolling mechanism. Wonder if the individual dice rolls and cancelations can be shown during character creation which would eliminate any confusion.

I honestly bought this because in my group I drew the short straw. One of the best char sheets I've ever seen. Also the only one actually worth paying for. I got the main app and both supplements and don't regret it all. If you play this game regularly I highly recommend it.

Great app, works perfectly, and that's what has me worried. What's gonna happen when GW takes the license back from FFG?

Other character generators should study this as prime example of its kind. Never be more happier to pay for a app.

This app is fantastic. I downloaded to expedite the character creation process for everyone in my party, and it removes a lot of the busywork -- specifically juggling 4 books at once when adding any features from them. A bit pricey, but it's a fantastic time saver. I highly recommend it to anyone who runs Dark Heresy games with all three expansions -- player and master alike. Sure, they're in app purchases, but with the new books Character Creation can take bloody hours. Not so with this app. My only nitpick so far -- it seems the devs missed a spot! Minor Psychic Powers that were included in the Enemies Within expasion don't show up in the psychic power database. A minor inconvenience (most people opt for full blown powers anyway), but it could stand to be added in at some point.

This app was everything I was looking for in a character builder. I thank the developers for their hard work and their continued development of this product.

I hesitated at the price but bought it anyway and I'm glad I did. It is very well designed and implemented, makes generating dark heresy characters a breeze and has all the book generation variants. The app is great, totally worth the price.

Been using this app for about 10 months. Took a little while to get used to finding the stuff you needed but after a while it's so easy and means you don't need a physical character sheet. Only downside is its not on windows 10 as I'd happily buy it again

My one critique would be the ability to print out a PDF of all the text that I type in or that is generated when you make a new character. Even if it's just a separate page, that would be very helpful. Other than that, great work. Edit: I'm sorry, I should have been clearer, I found the export PDF function is lacking the ability to print out all the descriptive text for talents, Psyker powers, etc. If those descriptions could be included, perhaps in a separate page, that would be great!

A great app use it alot for 2 games. One i run, and one i play. However the last update deletes all my files :( and i know it did for almost all my groups.

The DH theme is present throughout the app, which is great. There is a small learning curve that needs to be overcome to take full advantage of the app. The devs seem like they're working hard on improvements, which is always a good sign.

When I first downloaded this, the app itself was great but the generate a pdf function wasn't working for some reason. Emailed the devs and they came back to me the same day. After a few emails back and forth and an update later, boom, was all working perfectly. I wish all app devs were as good at customer service as these guys.

When is Enemies Beyond being added? I need Penal World and Mutant. :-) also, can you add manual selection options on things like Divinations? Sorry to keep adding; can weapon mods be tagged to the weapon it's applied to, or is that something we'd have to manually handle?

This app is very useful but it wasn't very intuitive when I first got it. It took me a while to get going. The stats randomisation has improved and is much more reliable than it used to be and is great. However they have only added the special named worlds from beyond and without, the ones from within are disappointing. Although it still needs some work it has improved greatly since i first got it and this app is very useful for recording info and is way better now. I recommend it! Thank you to the devteam.

About 80% of the time when rolling stats (tested on Highborn and Default stats) the minus stat would come out higher than the plus stats. I understand random number generation, but when rolling 3 10 sided dice and taking the lowest 2 consistently comes out higher than taking the higher 2 it seems obviously bugged.

Seriously, if you play DH2ndEd, this has everything in one package. It even has a die roller integrated and can network with other players if they too own the app. This is worth the money. Only mild complaint is the cloud backup doesn't seem to work. I have to copy the character file between devices manually. EDIT: Also, the developer is VERY quick with replies! Wasn't expecting that. Certainly going on my "favourites to watch" list. Any plans on doing character sheets for other games?

This did exactly what I was hoping for! However there were a couple of things I really wanted that I hope will be future updates. 1. Ability to print to PDF. Maybe I Just haven't found it yet, but It would be great to actually print out a PDF of a character sheet that I could then later print physically to take to a game. 2. UPDATES: Two new supplements have come out and this still only has the Enemies Within options. Need Enemies Without and Enemies Beyond ASAP!

Great app, could use work, a lot of which has already been mentioned in other posts. Waiting for next update with Enemies Without and for some of the tweaks to come in. Love it though!

Excellent work, I have had no problems with this program. Does there happen to be an Eta for the enemies without supplement?

This is a pretty comprehensive character sheet with nice gaming tools. I look forward to more comprehensive table top tools. Good start here. I will say that maybe there should be a quick instruction video on YouTube with a link inside the app.

Looking forward to more updates and support for the new supplements! The interface could be a bit clearer. Will update my review in the future. Highly recommended for any DH fans

Good app, but it's 2 expansions behind. (Without and Beyond). Will re-purchase when it's updated.

It's great to use but my friends and I are planning a game of dark heresy and I'd like to play as a grey knight. They said fine but I can't set that kind of character up. If you could add in demon hunters, I'd be great. I'm also trying not to be mean. If I came across mean I'm sorry. I'm a fully just using the app to keep track. It helps a lot. However as I stated up in the text above, it would be a great edition to add the rest of the expansions.

This app is very useful but it could do with some more work. E.G. it wasn't very intuitive when I first got it. It took me a while to get going. The amunition doesn't allow you to imediately pick the one for the weapon you have, it only gives you the speacialist options so you have to edit it and when you hit reload it doesn't always work. That and I always seem to get higher on my - skill than my two + skills. Although it still needs some work, this app is very useful for recording info. I recommend it.

Easy to use and well presented. Hoping to see Enemies Without added soon. Would like it more if it would add Divination results to your character but its not a deal breaker by any means.

App is great, runs very slow on my Samsung tablet but that's all the tablets fault, a suggestion I would make would be a checkbox to add experience spent on talents to the board like the skills section has and the option to select mods attached to weapons and a item quality tab. Other than that it's great.

I can't get the multiply to work. I'm connected to WiFi and it won't connect to the server. Other than that the app is amazing.

I had this on my iPad and had to get it for my phone too. Getting it on my PC would be even better. Slick interface makes character gen a snap. Everything from the two released books for 2nd ed included. Some things that I'd like to see fixed/implemented: The experienced option for point buy attributes. Power armor unnatural strength isn't calculated into damage or carrying capacity automatically. All these can be done manually though.

Like any app on a small phone like mine at some places it can be fiddly, but the flexibility if the app during character generation and advancement is very impressive. All it needs is away to print or generate PDFs, a way to add qualities and upgrades to weapons and it would be perfect.

But one question. I can't seem to stock or keep track of standard ammunition, and hitting reload seems to add clips to my inventory rather than remove them? Or am I crazy? Otherwise great job! EDIT: Thanks for the reply! Recommending this app to my entire group.
