Dive Unity Demo for Android
Awesome head tracking
Tried it on Lenovo K4 with Ant-VR. Well, it resolved the drifting issue quite efficiently. Not sure of how it would be of help with other apps. But definitely appreciate the effort. Head-tracking is efficient and most importantly no more of the annoying drifting problem which was consistent with google cardboard app.
Only complaint is that my phone has no gyro but I tried it anyway, sort of works but says that I need to use another phone (which I have got) for head tracking. However I do not know how to do it, there are no instructions for allowing another phone to track your head. Soon I am getting a galaxy s3 which happens to have a gyro so I will rate 5 stars
Some basic forward or backward movement would have made the 3D effect noticeable. So far, you can only rotate the camera.
The newest version now is incredibly fluid comparing with other games made with dive for unity plugin. Is there anything special in the in the official demo make the head tracking so desirable?
It's not working...
Awesome head tracking
This corrected my drift issue, but it didn't "save" the gyro settings. I opened the app, set the phone on a table and watched as it slowly spun to the "right". After a few seconds it stopped and no more drifting! Awesome! I had hoped opening another app that has drift would be cured, but no such luck.
Neat little tech demo, however I was slightly disappointed that I couldn't lean in towards the blocks, or really move my head in vr at all other than rotate it.
No drift. So why do all the other vr apps have horrible drift including Cardboard apps (except Windy Day), google camera, tuscany dive, orbulus....? Verizon Galaxy S4 4.4.2

Little jittery, but tracks very well.
LG G3. works really smooth and seems very precise.
Very good precision. Very Little drift. Sony Xperia lt22i

Testing
The latest update has brought horrible tracking drift on my Nexus 7 2012. I'm not sure what has changed, but the app was flawless but now it is unusable as a convincing VR demo.
You should rebuild the apps made in Unity prior to the 4.3 version, since the orientation is reversed. In Unity 4.3 this was fixed This affects all the Kindle Fire devices of the 3rd generation, like the Kindle Fire HDX 7 and 8.9 Basically every app made in Unity displays upside down. The gyro works perfectly, but the image is reversed on the screen, regardless of its orientation..
It's actually incredible how sweet this is. And it's only a test to show what can be done. Remember, you need a Dive headset (or equivalent) . If you don't have one, go get one. NOW!!!
How do u get realtime shadows for mobile? I have unity and that is somthing I have tryed and failed at
Nice app like /love it
I'm playing this on a Nook. When it opened it said something about my gyro. I don't know if that's why I can only look around or what... but I have to uninstall.
No tracking with Pipo S2 Tablet running Android 4.1.1. Google Sky Map does track, but not very well.
Works OK on my phone
I do like it and it earns SIX stars for sure... But why is Network access needed all of a sudain? NSA is over seas... Buddy, did the BND knock on your door?
Great demo that shows that modern smartphones are a viable solution as virtual reality displays.
Crashes when I try to run this app on my HTC Desire HD.
Crashes on N1
Good tutorial.
