Astronaut & Barely Alive present Rivals! An app where you'll be able to compete agains users for a high score while playing through a difficult, challenging game which progressively gets more and more difficult as your score increases. The game its self sounds simple, collect as many regular characters as possible to get a high score while avoiding characters like the black eggplant or black burger which will reduce your lives by one each time you hit one! You have four lives but collecting power-ups can make the game all the more enjoyable.
With a stunning soundtrack based on the EP "Rivals" by Astronaut & Barely Alive, this app has so much to offer for the simplistic idea that was created.
This app was created from a collaboration of ideas and concepts by both Astronaut & Barely Alive.
This app was programmed by David Wallace and graphics were designed by Kai.

I really liked it, and the 16 bit music for the soundtrack of the game from the original EP was a surprise, but I like it! And I do understand why they took out the drops of the song, for the fact that it's on a game, and more for the game the the EP. The game play is fun and cool and it dose get challenging. The only issue that I have with it, is that it wouldn't show me the scoreboard when I click on it :P but other than that, IT'S AMAZING!!

The buttons are really annoying, could have a slider as an alternative. Also, ad placement is poor. Other than that, enjoyable.

I know the game was kinda silly. But I downloaded it actually to listen to the new album while playing something. But oh no it's bad. Cause the drops were cutten off and the game is even less creative than I imagined. I'll stick to flappy bird while listening to your EP guys
