Patchwork The Game

This is a beautiful app and a brilliant game. I have the app for Cottage Garden as well. To me, Patchwork is more thinky than Cottage Garden because you have to figure out how to make money (buttons) and there are additional decisions to be made with the timeline. I find Cottage Garden to be more relaxing but also more satisfying, because I'm able to complete several beautiful flower beds, but in Patchwork, I find it impossible to complete a single quilt. I'm definitely happy that I purchased both apps. The game that I choose will depend on my mood of the moment.

Great game but has an annoying glitch when placing a patch shape on the board, it doesn't zoom in and just stays there. After that you're stuck until you reset the game. Please fix!

I love the game, and the graphics are great, but the app is kind of buggy and clunky. The loading between games is slow, as well as updating and general loading.

Get an error message, when trying to log in with Google Play Games: "Could not get AuthCode". Updated both apps and cleared their caches - without success. Can't play with others now.. :°(

Game hangs when loading a lot. The replay has frozen several times and the peg that moves ends up on top of a patch piece. But work 90% of the time.

Developers promptly fixed login issues I was having initially, no complaints now. Have the physical version of this game as well, and love playing both equally!

Doesn't work on Android, logging in to Google Play fails.

Great game with some notable problems. I've lost numerous games in which the app said I ran out of time, but the timer had up to 30 seconds remaining. I.e. there seems to be some kind of sync problem. There is also a design flaw, in my view. Why should the game allow a player to force forfeiture? Just force them to pass. That would be enough. Fix those for 5 stars!

I used to really enjoy this game. But ever since the latest update, I've had nothing but problems. The AI is now super slow, which is very frustrating. Also, I try to play against the AI and I constantly get the error message "you must first update your client to play online." This is super frustrating because I'm not trying to play online. I'm trying to play vs the AI. Honestly, I liked the old version better even if it was not as tough to beat.

Played the board game and loved it, the app is just as great! I would like to join ranked games but I'm not going to create a google+ account for it so that's really a bummer. I usually just do a pass and play game or play against the AI

Great game but I just wish that the AI was a bit stronger. UPDATE: The new AI is super tough! It has given me a lot more respect for this game. I don't mind the slowness. Still faster than a human. (Usually)

Game used to work great, now I can't use online play anymore, when I try I get the error: Login Error, Google Auth error, cancelled, tried removing and reinstating my Google account, tried reinstalling the app, nothing works

This installed fine on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, but I get a 505 error on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. I tried clearing cache, etc. Other apps installed, but not this one.

Brilliant tile-laying game with lots to think about. Little Uwe is tough to beat! Not crazy about the jumpy graphics, and a key to the scoreboard would be helpful for beginners, together with a better explanation of how the queue works.

Great game. Very good adaptation of the board game. Would give it 5 but it kills my battery & makes my phone hot!

Superb game: simple to play, yet deep and complex to master. And the new AI is excellent! It's the very cherry on top of it. 5 stars well deserved

My husband and I love the board game version of this game and I find this a great way for me to get practice so I can beat him better. ☺️

The hard mode AI seems to very good! Way better and smarter than previous one. Well done developers!

The random piece color is annoying.

Great implementation. I noticed in one of my games the pieces are different, new patterns, will that be in all the games now?

New AI on my Android is really slow and the game locks up. What's going on?

Since the August 2017 update, the AI plays only in s-l-o-w or e-x-t-r-a s-l-o-w mode which is f-r-u-s-t-r-a-t-i-n-g ????

For such a beautifully simple game this app seems to "heavy". It overheats my phone, it "loses" connection, especially mobile data , which makes it impossible to play live. Dissapointing technical issues.

This game is exactly how you'd want a mobile version of this brilliant board game to be handled, and you'll absolutely love it, no joke. You'll find plenty of technical issues, but none will detract too much from the experience. My girlfriend and I have been playing it for months, across platforms (iOS and Android), asynchronously, and while humming the terrific music to each other. We have the physical game too, and bust it out once in a while for a change, but mostly we're here, in the app, making each other smile every time a notification pops up telling us it's our turn. Now if only I could get her interested in the much more daunting gameplay of these devs' Terra Mystica adaptation...

Great adaptation, three things that need attention though: Drains battery like crazy for such a simple game. No idea why it's working my phone so hard. Achievements aren't unlocking... Get them, shows in game tracker, Google Play has me at 0/11 Player board gets stuck on screen, while time trackers get moved when you make a move that causes auto-passes that end the game.

Game is fantastic when it works. It drops about half my ranked games due to "network error". The game owes internet connection but my tablet does not.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app at their request. You are forced to allow the app to access your photos and media files before it will connect to the internet. App STILL crashes, and takes forever to load.

Brilliant implementation of one of my favourite 2 player board games. I love the asynchronous multiplayer. The only criticism is that I'd prefer it to be easier to see the pieces that are coming up without having to swipe through them.

Couple of crashes, and wish I could save a game.... Otherwise perfect.

Only issue is battery drain. But other than that, Best Game Ever!!!!!

EDIT: I received good suggestions from the developers to reduce battery use. --- I play this game with my girlfriend in carboard format. The mobile app implementation is too colorful and distracting but mainly it east through my battery in no time. I can play maybe 6 quick games on a full battery on my very new samsung s5. Nothing comes close to making my phone that hot. I will fix this rating if power consumption improves.
