About Decked Drafter

Decked Drafter is the only app designed to help Magic: the Gathering players improve their draft and sealed deck skills, featuring a full draft simulator and expert strategy tips and card ratings.

The perfect app for any draft or sealed deck fan, players can pick the Magic the Gathering expansion they would like to practice with, then launch into an event against seven other A.I. opponents. Open powerful cards from sets like Scars of Mirrodin and easily sort the contents by color, type and rarity. Then pick the best card for your deck and pass the rest to your opponent, working to build the most powerful deck at the table.

Making the right draft pick is never easy, but for the first time ever you're not alone. Marlon Egolf, DraftMagic.com columnist and Grand Prix Boston 2009 Champion, provides a full strategy analysis for each Magic card contained within the app. Guest writers include Timothy Landale, Grand Prix Kansas City 2008 Champion and Darwin Kastle, Magic Pro Tour Hall of Famer. Improve your strategy skills with the help of these card ratings, which give a detailed look into the power level of each card. Their expert ratings are also used to tune the A.I. opponents, making Decked Drafter the closest experience to actually drafting with the pros, and an incredible strategy resource.

After the draft is finished, build your deck using the simple interface, swapping cards around with a simple touch. Once the deck is built, test it in the draw simulator, email the list to your friends, or print out the decklist and assemble the deck with your own collection! Or access the handy card ratings and strategy tips at any time, making Decked Drafter the perfect pocket guide for your next draft event.

Whether you're a seasoned drafter looking to refine your skills, or a Magic noob just learning how to play, this is the app for you! Learn from the pros by practicing with Decked Drafter, and you will be sure to dominate your next draft!

This app is amazing in theory. While the micro-transactions are tidious, the sheer lack of sets in the Modern era are disappointing. Magic Online features flashback drafts going to 8th (the start of Modern.) The inability to download guides for older sets makes this app just as useless for causal players as it does newer players (the lack of the newest sets.)

Y70%
by Y####:

The only thing I expect from this app is to accurately reflect the draft environment and it can't even do that. The format for HOU draft is HOU-HOU-AHK, not 3xHOU. Also, for the second time (that I'm aware of) the planeswalker deck cards were included in the draft pool. In other words, this app is completely useless for trying to practice HOU draft. One star for you.

M70%
by M####:

There is always a mistake in the card database and ratings and reviews take too long. I would like my money back for the Amonkhet purchase because it includes cards that are not in booster packs.

X70%
by X####:

I'm mostly disappointed with the fact that the Innistrad and Scars of Mirrodin block are modern and are available, but the RTR block through the Khans block are modern and aren't available to use, and they want you to pay for them!! If they change that, then I just might give this app 3 or 4 stars. But as it is at the moment, this only deserves 2 stars.

Awesome app, worth every expansion. Still use it after all these years almost daily. Not sure why certain sets are unavailable (EMA, conspiracy, MM2017, ect.) but other than that, love it.

D70%
by D####:

Most recent sets are expensive. Can practice sealed decks online for free and the AI is much better

F70%
by F####:

Latest Draft for AER includes cards from planeswalker decks, they should nevet appear on draft or sealed pools..... please fix!

K70%

There is no way to contact the game maker and report bugs. I would like to report that when you click on censor it comes up au aven lightcensor

Really like this app, even with the $3 purchase needed for each new set released. The money per set would be more worth while if the below suggestions could be implemented: Have app track and report back to your servers on each pick made. Then use those values to adjust your card ratings with a simple push/pull update to the installed base (for the set selected for drafting). This feature should make the draft card value/selection process more accurate over time. With improved card ratings, you can better calculate the value of card synergy vs. pure card value when both recommending a pick - and when having the AI autoselect its own cards.

I like the concept. Please bring it up to date.

Planeswalker packs are in with the set messes up draft

X70%

Paying 3-x € is bullshit

F70%

The drafting is quick and easy and very intuitive. The comments on the cards and ratings are really helpful for learning the set. I have a few issues though. The bots don't draft well, almost at all. At times, looking at their picks i can't tell what their designed for, for example they often they pick basic lands 3rd to last over actual cards. Also especially with soi the packs are not realistic, no foils, color dist. and lack of a second dfc with a rare one. Overall good for learning the set bad for draft

B70%
by B####:

I love this draft simulator, it's great to be able to see a professional opinion on a card as you practice your drafting. But it's in desperate need of an update, the newest set available is magic origins. Have the creators just given up on this app?

J70%
by J####:

I have zero issues paying for the draft advise but there is no reason why the ability to draft the most recent set without advise is not available. The ability to draft the current set out ways advise. Dislike! (Otherwise this would be a 5 star love it app!)

U70%
by U####:

This is an awesome app, and it has helped with drafting. HOWEVER, while this app is good, it does NOT accurately play out the newest set card setup. However, it is still worth it to see and read the card ratings even if it doesn't run SOI properly.

Crashes are fixed, prices for sets just keep increasing, I don't mind paying for them, but I find its too much, I can practice drafting for free using other means.

Had all manner of issues on Samsung phones, but Nexus handles it fine. Guess that is the difficulty of developing for android. This is a very fun app when it works.

K70%
by K####:

Card sets prior to Theros have cards that are missing the card art. Uninstall and reinstall did not help... Kinda pointless if I have to go elsewhere to look up the details of a card.

X70%

Simulator isnt bad not not great, hasnt been updated to purchase recent blocks, crashes all the time. Bad all round.

B70%

If you're like me - know a bit of magic and a noob at drafting... Than this app is for YOU

K70%

It works, but it's not as good as the builder app. And they still don't have eternal masters...super lame

K70%

I refuse to pay for bundles when i can go on laptop n do same thing for free considering only thing you get is 2013

T70%

They don't have the current sets. And wants to charge you money for their latest set. Crashes a lot.

I would buy more dlc if you grouped the sets together.

Why isn't the icon in WUBRG order?!

Z70%
by Z####:

This is a good app for casual magic drafters that want drafting practice with some helpful sage advice, best thing is free except for any set past M13 I think.

W70%
by W####:

The app is the best draft simulator app that I have found, but the draft simulator is lacking. Each card is given a rating from 1 to 100 and it seems that the AI just drafts the highest rated card. That doesn't seem unreasonable but in my latest sim, the AI first picked Reclusive Artificer over Kytheon and then picked a common off color creature over synergy. This app is good but not very smart. The ratings for cards are useless as multiple people give ratings for the same set with no consistency.

Z70%
by Z####:

Crashes are fixed, prices for sets just just keep increasing, I don't mind paying for them, but I find its too much, I can practice drafting for free using other means.

Z70%

This app is awesome. It's a great way to practice drafts and learn the cards. I love that they fixed the crashing issue as well.

Z70%
by Z####:

Great for getting to know a new set. Debatable if the AI is even slightly close to realistic, but it's good enough to get the flavor. All around a solid app.

A70%
by A####:

This program is okay for fun, if a little buggy. It also gives food card information, but it doesn't pay any attention to signals or print runs, so it's basically useless as a drafting tool to help you improve.

Z70%
by Z####:

I'd be willing to pay for an expansion that would allow us to actually play our drafted decks against the computers drafted decks instead of just us simulation I got playing against nobody .

L70%
by L####:

Even though it says there's full commentary before you purchase the sets to learn how to draft. Completely dishonest.
