If the game had a defence option...then it might be worth it. All you can do is atrack and shoot magic. Not worth it at it's current state BUUUUUTT Avenged Sevenfold is awesome so you get an awesome soundtrack to go with you getting destroyed...

As others have said, this game has a very difficult ramp. You would probably have to buy the IAP stuff and/or farm a bunch of coins to get past the first level, and there's no way to really block attacks with the sword. That's not fun.

Soundtracks are amazing, you placed the music perfectly there is no need to add blocking i've finished this game fully and i loved the challenge, true gamers know what i'm talking about, there are a few glitches and bugs but other than that this is my favourite game for my tablet. All haters, performance isn't everything. And It Is NOT A Pay To Win.

Overal an amazing game! I am a huge A7X fan. This game is difficult at times, no dodge no blocking nor do you get health drops, but strategy is key. Beat this game in 3hrs. No in game purchases needed. Rpg? No its more like a strategical action/adventure game. The difficulty of this game makes it fun. Does remind me of a lot of classical games they metioned. For a mobile game app it's just amazing.

But one time i deleted and reinstall the game and now every time I try to "Restore Purchase" it said it was "Cancelled or failed" PLEASE FIX!!! I bought all the characters and now I have none :(

Pretty much a great game! The one thing that the experience is lacking is the developer support. I have the same problem with people here, trying to restore the M. Shadows character, but it does not restore... I emailed the support but was not able to get a response for them ever since... Sad to hear that. Last update was on December 2nd, 2014. I live for this band, and sadly the developer does not care about this game...

I love the band I have bought albums and merchandise and I love all the references to their songs and especially to " the Rev " may he rest in peace but the game reminds me of The elder scrolls 3 I got to bat country recently and just an amazing game... ☺☺☺

I absolutely adore the game, addicted after a few minutes! However it kinda bugs me that there's no save option because every time I leave the game I have to restart the piece I was doing. The game is so amazing, I could spend hours explaining why but we all know it's fantastic. I'm not one to buy apps or games but this was definitely worth it. Great job guys, keep it up, you've done yourselves proud! Can A7X get any better?! No band measures up!

I purchased based on reviews and for the price its a decent pass time, but def not "pushing limits" or console quality. Seems like something from early ps1 era. Combat is boring, very little ways to attack, I've seen no progression for character outside some set items. Overall just another mobile game. Devs can keep my money, use it toward making something worth while...story is decent though, good writing and set working.

I seem to be unable to purchase Synyster Gates because it keeps saying it was canceled or failed. It didn't actually attempt the purchase, so I am not sure what the issue is with the purchase of him. I even tried Zacky Vengeance, but could not purchase him either. I will be trying to reinstall the game to see if that fixes it. I will restart my phone as well. I hope it gets sorted with those attempts at resolving it.

Also I tried restoring my purchases (I bought all the characters) and it won't let me.*Edit* I can't even buy the characters now. It says it failed or was cancelled. Being a proud fan of AX7, you could imagine my happiness when I saw there was a game. But I had this on an old phone and upgraded to S5 (galaxy) and re-downloaded the game. No problem. Didn't have to pay again or anything. But I bought M.Shadows. And his coffin is closed and the game wants to make me pay again for him. I clicked the restore purchases and all it says is "Failed or Cancelled." I checked my google purchases, and the transaction is there. I mean I played M.Shadows for at least two weeks....

I love this game. It was working great and running smoothly till I updated it. I don't know why but now it won't let me click continue. It's like it freezes on the screen but I hear the sounds when clicking the buttons. Still giving it 5 stars I just wish I could finish playing :(

It's absolutely one of the best games on Play Store. I'm a diehard fan of Avenged Sevenfold, and downloading this game was imminent for me. I bought it, I played it, I finished it and I would say that it's worth a while even for those who are not fans. It's a good game with good music and game play. Give it a try. I wasn't disappointed. Although, it said 10-12 hours of game play. I finished it after maximally 6 hours. Well, Nightmare mode awaits!

I was the fourth person to download this game and I've never had any complications until now. I had gotten a new phone and I redownloaded the game. I went to restore my purchases and it won't allow me, says that it's failed to restory or has been canceled. I had never canceled and I played that game for months using all the characters I have bought. I can't change the volume of the game either. There are no settings. Please fix this!!

I thiught it would be nice. It's mediocre. And u can't even play as the band members as you gotta pay for em. Anyway, u guys gotta really fix the battles. Not being able to block is like being a meatshield. Mehhhh

This game is pretty fun. However, it has an unfortunate issue that renders in-app purchases useless. When I try to restore purchases it says: "The restore failed or was cancelled." When I try to buy in-app purchases it says "The purchase failed or was cancelled." Written from NVIDIA Shield Tablet LTE 32GB.

How has this not been updated since 2014? How can you charge people for the game and then characters as in app purchases.... But then for over two years not update it once or address the issue where people are denied the characters they purchased????? Way to take care of your customers and support the fans supporting you....

I only played this game once. It seemed pretty fun. But when I went to play the second time and it was all in Chinese! Can someone please tell me how to fix this. I can't read Chinese and I would like to continue playing the game.

I beat it and then went back to play again a couple months later and now it doesn't work. It shows me the first screen and then just black. How can I fix this??

The game is fun once you begin getting a hang of the controls. I would like to see external gamepad support in the future. The storyline is very good especially considering it's a mobile game- I have seen none like this one so far.

I bought all the charactersand then had to uninstall the game. When I went back in to restore my purchases (there is a button that says restore my purchases)but when I hit it it says the operation has failed. When I email the company for help with the matter no one responds.

Umm is there anyway for a refund? I brought it cuz of the reviews and thought it would be an amazing game, but there was too many flaws for me too handle. The first level,lost all lives, I would love a refund as soon as possible

Love the game so far, but for some reason it won't let me make any in game purchases. It keeps saying the purchase failed or was canceled. A fix would be great, but other than that for a mobile game I was pleasantly surprised at how addictive it is! I hope one day you'll make another.

Game is a lot of fun and music is awesome. However, I had to attempt to restore purchases and it fails every time. Looks like I'm not the only person with this issue. Will have to revise to 5 stars if this is fixed.

Coming from an Avenged Sevenfold fan, the music during gameplay is awesome. Different soundtracks for about anything(boss fight, level, map). But, the issue is....there is no defense at all. Can't deflect or dodge. All you can do to avoid getting hurt is to use mana and that drains quickly. Boss fights are impossible, you will die. And with given only 5 lives, no health regeneration, and little pieces of health throughout the level, it makes it hard to complete just one level. FIX THIS! Please...

Im very sad about the fact that i buyed a new phone(sony Xperia z5), installed it and couldnt use my purchased characters...i cant even buy them again!
