The Blue Bird

The Blue Bird is an educational game, commissioned by Nancy's Museum-Aquarium for its exhibition "parce Queue - A Tale of Tails". An integral part of this exhibition focusing on the anatomy and function of the tail in animals, this game demonstrates the role of the tail in sexual selection. It is designed to be played on a touch tablet, and is intended for exhibition visitors aged 10 and above.
Once they have chosen a bird and its tail features, players have to prevent their genes from dying out by producing as many baby birds as possible. Bear in mind: attracting females will be just as difficult as escaping predators!
