Magic: Puzzle Quest

The customer service is bad. I still have unresolved issues. The game has several bugs. Sometimes you get screwed over on in app purchases. The most recent update has been pushed back a month or two. Lastly during the random card pulls you only get the same cards over and over at statistically significant rates.

I thought I the match puzzle part of this would be corny, but it actually really works out to be a plus!!! I am thoroughly addicted!! Woulda left 5 stars but the only downside is kinda big, the booster packs get extremely repetitive. I haven't gotten more than a few new cards in over a month,

Game restarted on me after years of play. The app said it was doing maintenance and now I lost EVERYTHING...WHICH WAS ALOTTT OF TIME and cards . thank god I didn't spent a dime on this game. I feel sorry for someone who did and lost everything. I would love to play again if I was given my cards back. I don't even want a compensation I want MY CARDS.

Was fun at first but noticed that your own cards don't block which is irritating. Especially when you lose a match because a card that could have been blocked and destroyed several times was allowed to attack through. Boring and very off putting

I really like this game, the gameplay has a lot of depth and the payment system doesnt hold you back from playing for free if you want. However, I find that some graphics, load times, animations, and card information can lag on me a bit. Also sometimes I feel like cards are cast too quickly and I cant get a chance to understand whats happening to me. Once I get a better handle on the game I dont think it'll be a problem, but I can see that getting overwhelming for new players. Other that I think its a pretty darn fun game. Great way to kill time.

Surprisingly addictive! The use of match three for mana has it's pluses and negatives, but judicious use of it can give an advantage in difficult battles. One star knocked off for irritating bug in the heroic battles which see the game freeze when preset supports are destroyed. I just got into the card game and i love this game! I like how it actually teaches you the beginnings of it. Love the graphics and overall I haven't had a bad vibe within the game. Great job! Though i wish whenever you get 4 or more in a row that it doesn't show the card in front of the whole screen then quickly swipe away. Either than that its great.

Good initially, then you realise the devs don't care. As you're working your way through the 1st campaign, everything is quite nice and balanced. As you progress to the later ones you realise little effort was put into balancing later updates. The bosses in the eldrazi campaign are a great example. I've logged so many bugs and they are never fixed because they're too busy fire fighting the latest update, riddled with bugs. Clearly no one tests. Just look at the forums for old annoying bugs that will never be fixed. Every update is the same.

Don't waste your time. And especially not your money. This business model is just rotten. I hate free to play because of how many developers do it wrong. It's purely a magic skinned money grab and not at all fun to play. Just like magic booster packs, your money has a better place to go than bring spent on micro transactions that aren't very micro. I'll pass on this game.

i enjoy it the first 3months then i unintsall it becz the AI is effin crazy, they always gets the best combo aside from lvl gap. You been warned , the down stars review here are true. what a waste of time I should had used my time playing this with Marvel Quest. The awful side of this game is too much bandwidth whc will kill your data plan and a lot of nonsense loading

I really liked it untill they decided to not let you use the cards/decks you have built on the current challenges. It takes a super long time to aquire good cards if you dont want to spend money. Not sure why anyone would want to spend money on cards that are not even real magic cards. It's a good time waster but I will most likely stop playing as all my good cards amd decks are being phased out.

It's a money sink plain and simple. The gameplay is classic puzzle quest with mtg cards which can be obtained through Daily log in, completing tutorials and of course, spending money. The beginning gets you hooked but afterwards you realise that obtaining decent cards becomes very difficult. It's has all the addiction of the card game with very little depth and lacks any personality. 0/10 wouldn't bang. Buy my mix tape.

Use to play this game all the time. I had a lvl 60 Sorin Grim Nemisis. I actually spent $20 to get the remaining Mana crystals needed to buy him. Along with a lvl 40+ Tezzeret the Schemer, and lvl 55+ Liliana, Chandra, and Nissa. Finally install newest update after not playing Saturday because I didn't want to update using data. Go to play first time after updating and it tells me to do the tutorial or login with Facebook. Well logging in caused it to freeze, now it keeps trying to make me do Nissa's tutorial.

Game is ok as far as concept goes buy the controls are horrible. The touch screen is mediocre at best. I was actually stuck on more than one occasion because I couldn't tap anywhere. Changing cards in my deck is a daunting task and takes several tries. Also, I am constantly going up against people 10 levels higher than me making me absolutely ineffective.

SpeGame has been very poor since last two updates. You used to get rewarded with good cards for putting in long hours of work. Now you just get runes, which I no longer need and was getting with the special cards to begin with. The game was challenging. Now its more difficult than necessary and not rewarding enough

Last update broke the game. After defeating the enemy i can't press the continue or vault battle. As a result i lose, because i exit the game force closing it. Please fix this. Game is great, but some lags kills it. Plus the spells work weird now. The buff dissapears right after applying it, without using it. For example the berserk. My creature didnt even attack, altho it was active

The game is good but it crashes a lot. Hate it when that happens especially when doing events coz it only can be played once every 7 hours. And I cant go to other app at the middle of the game like other puzzle games or it will just quit. The loading when starting up is really slow and might not get started.

I enjoy the strategy and getting new cards/characters to try out. I had a restore issue that customer support resolved. My frustrations are the requirement to be constantly connected to the internet, long/reoccurring verifications of version/data, and the costs of new items (often $5-$50). It is a fun game overall.

When you purchase packs sometimes they fail to open and you won't receive your purchase but the game will tell you that it did. You won't get refunded or reimbursed even though it is a known issue.

Tere are many things wrong with this app. There endless list of defects. The horrible performance. However the worst is that you can't save your data with the play store. I just lost weeks of data because they only use Facebook saves. I don't use Facebook. I now need to restart this game from the beginning for the third time. Being a native app they made it feel like an HTML hybrid app. This is not a complement. The UI is more than sluggish and heavy weight. The UI is borderline junk. They are trying to follow material design guidelines without following any of the principles of material design. This app is also horrible on battery life. Just so many things wrong when they actually have a fun game (if you don't mind waiting and waiting to actually play it.)

This new model adopted by gaming companies of "pay to win" is becoming pathetically ridiculous! You don't need skills at all! You literally can just buy your victories if you spend enough. This is just another cash grab with a mtg paint job lacking any true ingenuity in the gaming industry. I'm getting that "John Madden" feeling about games these days! A few gimmicks and eye candy but ultimately the same game. Stay broke my friends!

I used to love this game but now i have to make a new deck every single time i try to join an event and I'm sick of it. Its ridiculous. It's time consuming and no one with even a remote resemblance to a life has the time to make new decks every single event for every planeswalker, let alone ever have time to actually use them before they're moot decks because the next event is on and they're useless again. Thanks for ruining my favorite game.

I agree with all those one stars I don't see how it gets 4.3 average. You have to spend a lot of money here. Plus on the quick battles you get ripped off. They have the same lvl as you and are using a level 3 spell at level one price. I would record it but why waste my time. All ready wasted 5 minutes writing this. And new update just crashed game. Can't even get on now.

I really like the game. Messing with different deck synergies is fun. But I find myself never wanting to launch the game anymore. Mostly because the menu load times are ridiculously long. Especially after the latest update. When starting the game takes over a minute (not an exaggeration), and getting into a match, another 30-40 seconds, I find myself going to other games where I can get a quick game without having to sit through such a slow ux. Hopefully this will be ironed out in future updates. EDIT: Loadtimes seems to have improved since I first wrote this review.

Like the game but feel all the purchase you make cost too much. if I could get enough gems for a new plainswalker for a few $ I might but too expensive for me

Really enjoyed this game until the most recent update. Has devolved into a complete cash grab. Addendum: stooped as low as to completely change an in-app purchase after the sale and would not refund the money even though the product was not what I bought!

Was great. But now it sucks! In the middle of a battle it stops working. Since the last update this game isn't worth playing. If you use an ability-game over and ir counts as a lost battle. If they would bother to fix this problem, I would give it 5 stars. P.s. havent gotten a rare card in 2 months of playing!

I'm leaving a poor review until I'm reimbursed for the time I was unable to play the game, collect daily rewards and participate in timed events due to my account being deleted and overwritten because of a bug. This is apparently a common issue and unless the support team makes amends for their error this game doesn't deserve a positive review fr such a game breaking bug.

Great game. Or it used to be. Subsequent updates make this game take longer and longer to load initially. And now it's cutting out after I win a match saying that I'm not online when I obviously am.

The game is fun and addictive . If you don't want to spend real money just login everyday and collect rewards. If you want a great free card put in code 0mepm at the invite friend spot.

The epic story quests are bugged so that the game freezes if you destroy one of the opponent's starting supports. Between that, and how matches are made from your previous match instead of your current one, it's fun, but still needs significant work.

I really really really like this game. but i logged on today afternoon, only to find out that all my progress had been wiped! i will rate my initial five stars again if my problem can be solved, if not, I'm not grinding my way up again to get all my plainwalkers back and lvl them up again, my cards likewise.

Want to play story mode only to get a infinite loading screen, or its takes ten minutes to load which you can't play because you have no battery, because the game is resource hungry.

Couldn't ever get the game to start. It takes forever to login and then just gives an error. Not worth any amount of time to download and attempt to login. Just pass on this trash app.

Some bugs have been fixed but others are so still there IT'S SO FRUSTRATING that its such a great game but seems to be hampered by so many bugs. There is some issue with how you are matches up with opponents as you can be matched up with people who are 10 levels above you.

Difficult and makes you think of strategy, just like the card game. I can play non-stop and kill time. I like that I can play a story mode and be involved in events.

Controls are a little touchy, but other than that I love this game. I wish it did have a more user friendly iinterface though.

This game is completely pay to play. It is impossible to make a competitive deck or even get rare cards unless you spend a large amount of money. Waste of time...

Once you get to a higher level it's extremely hard to beat other players who have actually invested money into the game. Not worth the time

Can't even play now. Keep getting error New update new events and new cards. Cool... oh, what is this? Can't use older cards for new event... okay. WAIT! CAN'T USE OLDER CARDS FOR PRECIOUS EVENTS BEFORE UPDATE. Yeah, that is complete and utter BS.
